HP: I was doing all sorts of things at Hogwarts

Chapter 178 Decorating the Christmas Tree

In mid-November, Hagrid returned to Hogwarts.

He had injuries so visible on his face that it was hard not to notice them. To the outside world, he said that he had been hit by a broomstick. I don’t know how many people would believe it. In short, Aphra didn’t believe it, and Umri didn’t believe it. Qi didn't believe it either.

During Care of Magical Creatures class, Umbridge chattered beside Hagrid.

"I heard that Umbridge was already here when the fifth-year Gryffindor and Slytherin classes took this class." Lancey blinked, as if she had heard of everything.

"Your intelligence is really fast." Avro praised her.

"Oh, thank you~" Lanxi hugged her and snuggled against her.

Hagrid was clumsy and tongue-tied, unable to say anything to Umbridge. Every word she said was misinterpreted by Umbridge and written down on a small tablet.

Avro didn't think Hagrid was suitable to be a professor, and she didn't like taking his class - but she still chose this class for the sake of overall development.

However, Umbridge was even more unqualified to evaluate other professors.

Aphra pouted and looked away, pretending not to see Umbridge.

After class, Umbridge left here happily, and a group of students left the grass sparsely.

Avro looked at the dejected Hagrid, sighed inwardly, and silently helped Hagrid pack up the items for class.

"Thank you..." Hagrid muttered, "You are the prefect of Slytherin, right? I remember you."

"Yes," Avro threw the raw meat into Hagrid's basket, her eyes clear, "Aphro Greengrass."

"Oh - many professors like you," Hagrid grinned with a forced smile, "I'm going to chop down the biggest tree now. It's almost Christmas, and I have to be responsible for decorating the castle."

"Fir tree?" Aphra looked up at Hagrid and asked.

"Yes, the fir tree is most suitable as a Christmas tree. It is beautiful and green even in winter..." Hagrid picked up the basket, "Do you want to go and see it together?"

Avro has no classes today. She thought about it and nodded, "I can help."

"Oh, that's not necessary," Hagrid laughed heartily, "Maybe I can get another prefect to help. The prefects should all have to help decorate the castle, hang some ribbons and so on..."

Avro raised her eyebrows and said, "I suggest arresting Ron Weasley. I just saw him playing Quidditch and he was lazy and didn't help."

"Careful, let's go find the Weasley boy." Hagrid opened the door of his cabin, put the basket away, took a big saw, and put on thick gloves.

"Let's go!" Hagrid's mood improved again, and he would not think about the bad things that happened today for the time being.

The two walked around the Forbidden Forest before Hagrid selected the trees he liked.

Avro sat on the snowdrift and stared at Hagrid's saw. He seemed to be struggling.

"How about using magic?"

Avro suggested, otherwise it will get dark later and it will be strangely cold outside.

"Me?" Hagrid was a little embarrassed.

"Let me try." Avro slid down and walked to Hagrid with difficulty, "Try... using the cutting spell."

Avro used two cutting spells to withstand Hagrid's efforts for more than ten minutes.

"Awesome, I really deserve ten extra points for you." Hagrid grinned and dragged the ten-meter-long fir tree towards the castle, leaving long, wide and deep tracks in the snow.

The two of them chatted and laughed while talking about Christmas.

Ron was dragging his feet weakly, shivering constantly, holding a broom that was not new in his arms.

"You're just in time, Ronald." Avro saw the darkness in the snow with sharp eyes, dropped the small basket of tools, and ran towards Ron.

The snow was already very deep, and she couldn't run very well, so she stumbled and said, "Hiss——"

She jumped straight into Ron's arms. Ron had just finished training and had no strength. They fell into the snow together, were buried in the snow, and disappeared without a trace.

"Ouch! Bloody hell!"

Hagrid looked confused, was he so excited?

"Who would have buried the Bludger in the snow?" Avro covered her feet and squatted in the snow, grinning.

Avro's head was covered with snow, and her neck was filled with snow. She was trembling, wishing she could give that bad guy an Avatar.

"I think I found another Bludger!" Ron emerged from the snow in a panic, his body covered in white.

He shook his head and held his head in his hands, with a painful expression. He waited for a long time, then buried his hands in the snow, dug for a long time, and finally picked up an iron Bludger.

"Who is so wicked? It's such a big deal!" Aphro gritted her teeth, "Don't let me catch him, he's good-looking."

Hagrid held up a child with one hand and said helplessly, "Be careful when you walk."

"I'm looking for you, little Weasley. You two are responsible for helping me decorate the Christmas tree, okay?"

Ron kept patting the snow on his body, nodded casually, and dug out his broom from the snow.

"Don't let those two Bludgers continue to harm others, bring them back to the castle." Avro ordered, taking Ron's broom.

Ron picked up the two Bludgers, one in each hand.

After eliminating harm for the people, the three of them slowly wandered into the castle.

"Ronald, does your broom... need to be protected?" Avro stared at his broom, feeling that there was nothing good about it.

"I was just rewarded with the broom this year..." Ron muttered, "Sweeping Seven Stars, because I became a prefect this year, and my mother rewarded me with the broom."

"It seems that you have been training hard and are very diligent, right?" Avro rolled her eyes. She originally planned to give him a new one for Christmas, but it seemed unnecessary. After all, he just bought the broom this year. How about a care kit?

Avro was thinking about it as the three of them entered the castle.

Aphra was concentrating on shaking the snow off her body, and heard Ron ask in confusion, "Hagrid, why are you dragging the Christmas tree so hard instead of making it smaller before transporting it in?"

"..." Avro and Hagrid both stared at Ron, and Ron took two steps back.

"What, what's wrong?" Ron swallowed and asked.

"You didn't say anything just now, but now you've remembered it. You're so smart."

Aphra complained about him, and Ron scratched his head, "I just...didn't think of it, I forgot."

Avro rolled her eyes at him and said, "Let's go and decorate the Christmas tree."
