I Reincarnated into a Game Filled with Mods

Chapter 107

Bzzz, my eyes opened, and the alcohol-induced haze that had consumed my body was long gone. As I tried to sit up, I turned my head to feel a heavy sensation on both arms.

Floretta and Luna were sleeping, each resting an arm on me. They were entirely without a stitch on, pressing their chests against me tightly as they held me snugly.

As memories of last night flooded back, my lower half began to stir a little.

Trying to maintain my composure, I carefully peeled them off me. Like the popes, I too was completely unclothed.

“Mmm….”

As soon as the objects I was cuddling disappeared, Floretta and Luna made strange sounds and flailed their arms. I gently nudged Floretta’s back. The bodies of the popes stuck to mine.

They each held onto each other tightly and began groaning softly, falling back into slumber. I averted my gaze from the sight of their hardened nipples pressing between their chests and got out of bed.

It was an absurdly massive bed. This one bed seemed to be equivalent to a decent-sized room.

‘Where did my clothes go?’

I looked around. I needed to get out, but I couldn’t find my clothes anywhere.

I couldn’t walk around this corridor in the nude. No matter how confident I was in my size, I didn’t want to be labeled an exhibitionist.

However, no matter where I looked, I couldn’t find the clothes I had taken off. Not even a towel to cover myself existed. The only thing I had to cover myself was the blanket on the bed, and Floretta and Luna were still wrapped in it.

What on earth was the purpose of this room? Aside from the gigantic bed and a shower, everything was decorated in gold. It was surely not an ordinary place.

As I stood awkwardly in the center of the room, suddenly the door burst open.

A woman with golden bobbed hair and another with a long silver ponytail entered.

“Did you sleep well last night, distinguished guest?”

“Oh, you’re up pretty early! I thought you’d still be asleep.”

It was Stella and Selene.

They paused momentarily as they walked into the room and saw me standing in the middle. More precisely, they halted at the sight of my erection.

Startled, Selene jumped back, hurriedly covering her face with her hair, and Stella covered her face with her hand.

But with her fingers spread wide, she was practically playing peek-a-boo. The green eyes peeking through her fingers were glancing down at my lower half.

I tried to cover up, but I quickly realized that at this size, no matter what position I took, it would be awkward to hide, so I gave up. The only way to hide it was to turn around.

“Could you stop staring and just hand me some clothes? What’s so interesting that you’re peeping like that?”

“Ah, um, yes. I’m sorry, distinguished guest. I lost myself for a moment seeing you standing there so gallantly.”

Stella made an ambiguous comment about what was so gallant about me standing there, then approached me and handed me the clothes she was holding. I hurriedly put them on.

Once my body was covered, I felt a sense of calm.

“What about the other knight commanders?”

“The nuns are taking care of them. They woke up briefly to ask for water, but they’ve been sleeping soundly since then. They had a drink of Moon’s Kiss, so no matter what, they won’t be up until at least this afternoon.”

“…I had the same drink.”

“But you possess divine power, don’t you? Why would Moon’s Kiss only be served to the righteous?”

Oh, is that how it is? I was just relieved thinking the worst-case scenario wouldn’t happen.

My worst-case scenario was the knight commanders waking up before me and coming to find me sharing a bed with the popes.

As I let out a sigh of relief inwardly, Stella glanced over at Floretta and Luna, who were snuggled up together in bed. A warm smile spread across her face.

“What should I say, I have mixed feelings about this.”

“In what way?”

“This is the first time I’ve seen the Pope of the Sun asleep with such a peaceful expression. While she always had a kind smile, she never laughed when asleep. She was either sad or gloomy, one of the two.”

“……”

“But now she’s asleep with such a tranquil face… I should be happy, but I find myself teary-eyed.”

With a wistful expression removed from her face, Stella smiled brightly.

“All these things, it’s all thanks to you, distinguished guest. I feel that no matter how much we express our gratitude, it will never be enough.”

Since Stella had been watching how deeply the popes had suffered due to the revelations, her feelings must be even more distinct.

Although perhaps half of that peaceful expression was a result of last night’s encounter. Thinking about that shattered the atmosphere immediately.

“…Distinguished guest, may I ask you a question?”

After a while, Selene, who had been hiding her face behind her ponytail, finally gathered her composure and spoke cautiously.

“Of course. What is it?”

“This may sound rude, or you might think it’s an unreasonable request, but would you consider staying in our Holy Kingdom rather than the Empire?”

“I’m afraid it’s not possible right now.”

I cut Selene’s request straight off. After completing the main story, perhaps, but for now, I needed to head to the Empire for the sake of progressing the main story.

Furthermore, I had no idea what Kaiquilia, who had been taken from me, might do.

“For now, you say…? Understood, distinguished guest. I’m sorry for the unreasonable request.”

Selene quietly withdrew, chewing on the words “for now.”

Her purple eyes glimmered softly.

The knight commanders finally roused around the afternoon, still dazed, and even after regaining consciousness, they lay in bed until the next morning, attended to by the nuns.

As Claudia would put it, it felt like the intoxication had seeped into every fiber of their being. Judging by her laughter, it seemed like she was not in too much pain.

Lize clung to my side and showed no sign of letting go. Thanks to that, I ended up being bedridden for an entire day.

True to her nature, Lize jokingly suggested sneaking a hand under the nuns’ watchful eyes, but aside from that, it was a decent time.

Iris and Erica quietly suffered from hangovers. Iris seemed to be hanging in there, but Erica, who was particularly weak to alcohol, was struggling even more.

It was a miracle how Moon’s Kiss was so powerful; the knight commanders failed to recover their condition until the next evening. Naturally, our return to the Empire was delayed as well.

Ultimately, the date we finally set off was two days later than initially planned.

“So you’re leaving now.”

Floretta bid us farewell with a wistful expression. Luna stood beside her, wearing the same expression. Stella and Selene had positioned themselves a little farther away from the popes.

There were just a few people to say goodbye to.

Four, to be exact; it wasn’t an overwhelming number, yet it encompassed the Pope of the Sun, the Inquisitor, the Pope of the Moon, and the Inquisitor.

When two popes, who were practically the embodiment of the Holy Kingdom, gathered with the Inquisitor and the Inquisitor, who represented the kingdom’s military power, who could complain about their numbers?

“We could have stayed with you in the Holy Kingdom forever… but it wouldn’t be courteous to hold back those who wish to leave. We wish you safe travels ahead.”

Floretta and Luna had returned to their usual roles as popes, their earlier acts of passion long forgotten.

Their attire was the customary sacred robe, a significant departure from the ridiculous ‘dress’ they had worn before.

That ‘dress’ had been quite absurd, but it was at least infinitely better than what could be seen as an insult to the very concept of clothing.

It was a time where I learned that exposure was a relative concept.

“Thank you for your hospitality, Your Holiness.”

Iris bowed politely. Floretta responded with a bright smile.

“No, no. It’s we who have received a far greater grace. A grace so immense that it cannot be valued by mere material means.”

Both the green and violet eyes turned towards me.

“Distinguished guest.”

“…Yes?”

“Before you leave, there is something we would like to present to you. Could you please come here for a moment?”

Suppressing the rising uneasiness, I approached Floretta. With so many eyes watching, I doubted they would do anything strange.

Floretta opened her arms halfway, waiting for me to come closer, and as I approached, she embraced me tightly. My face sank deep between her large breasts.

As I inhaled, a scent reminiscent of peaches wafted up, unique to her bosom.

“May the radiant sun shine upon the path this little lamb walks. May it find a bright sun to guide it through any ordeal and tribulation.”

Smack, Floretta kissed my forehead. Then she kissed each of my cheeks before finally giving me a long kiss on the lips, letting me go.

Next was Luna. Like Floretta, she buried my head between her breasts and recited a prayer.

“May the clear full moon rise in the sky that this little lamb gazes upon. May the blue full moon illuminate the way, even in darkness and the abyss.”

The following sequence was the same. She kissed my forehead, alternating between my cheeks, and finally finished with a long kiss on my lips.

My mind was blown as I opened my mouth.

“Your Holiness, this is…?”

“It is a blessing spell passed down from the popes since ancient times. This is the first time we’ve used it ourselves, so we only know that it brings blessings. It can’t possibly harm you, right?”

Was burying my head in between their chests and kissing considered a blessing? I returned to my original spot with a slightly dazed feeling.

I could easily guess who the owner of the gaze was behind me.

However, to my surprise, Lize, who I expected to react sharply, maintained an unexpectedly calm expression. Come to think of it, she seemed to have been interrupted from saying something last time as well.

While I tried my best to brush off the piercing gazes, the Pope of the Moon drew a circle beneath us. Using teleportation without even a sacred catalyst, I couldn’t deny that popes were indeed popes.

“I look forward to the day we meet again, distinguished guests.”

“May peace grace your future.”

As the popes bid farewell, a silvery light mass enveloped us. I felt a sensation of floating, and light poked at my eyelids. Even with my eyes closed, it felt bright.

The light soon faded away. As my sight turned dark again, I opened my eyes and found ourselves back in the garden of Aurora’s mansion where we initially set off.

I looked around. This time, the knight commanders seemed perfectly fine. Lize and Claudia were seen sighing in relief. It seemed the last teleportation had left a striking impression.

Since we had arrived at the mansion, I thought it was time to report to Aurora, but just then…

‘…Huh?’

A situation I hadn’t anticipated unfolded before our eyes.
