I Reincarnated into a Game Filled with Mods

Chapter 344

Side Story: Weapon Collection – 2

Hweeiiing… Hiiing…

“Stop sniffling. It’s embarrassing.”

“How can you say that?! I just got freed after being tortured!”

“You didn’t die. That’s good enough.”

“Uwaaaang!”

Fetch thrashed around, making a dramatic dying sound.

Hearing her sobs was pitiful, but the fact that she was making those noises was proof she was okay. If she were truly terrified, she’d have kept her mouth shut first.

Just like when Linne tried to poison her drink.

Clang!

“Ah!”

Fetch, while thrashing about, kicked a piece of the restraint ring and grabbed her toe while pouting. The piece she kicked barely moved to the side.

“Can I just laugh at this?”

“If I’m really in pain, wouldn’t it hurt to at least say something comforting?”

“Then does that mean you were faking it until now?”

With no words left, Fetch closed her mouth tight and kicked the scattered pieces on the floor in frustration. Not the big ones, but the little ones that wouldn’t hurt much when kicked.

After kicking for a while, she suddenly buried her head on the desk and mumbled.

“I’ll never be able to get married now. It’s all over.”

“If you just keep your mouth shut, no one will know. Besides, if you got married, you’d just run off with the other person’s money anyway. Isn’t that right?”

“No way?!”

Annoyed, Fetch pointed her finger. After doing that, she glanced around nervously, clearly worried about my reaction. It seemed her outburst was impulsive, but now that it happened, she was anxious about how I’d respond.

I showed no reaction. Fetch sighed in relief and subtly moved her finger away. I wasn’t about to nitpick her over something like that; it was just a playful jab.

Considering what had just happened, it’s understandable to feel that way.

“What’s the purpose of it anyway…?”

Linne’s restraint ring did more than just tie up her limbs.

It lifted her body into the air, pinned her arms beside her face, bent her elbows to cross behind her neck, and spread her legs wide while curled her knees up.

The finishing touch was a chain binding around her chest like armor. It wasn’t large enough to be overly noticeable, but still…

Right in front of me, Fetch was twisted up, exposing her armpits and the space between her legs, making her cringe, but she couldn’t free herself from the steel restraint.

“I heard Linne was enjoying it too.”

“No way she is!”

Fetch jumped up from her seat.

“You aren’t seriously trusting the word of that strange woman over mine, are you, Delta?!”

“I agree she’s strange. But her skills are real. If they weren’t, we wouldn’t have so many requests coming in.”

After all, she wasn’t your average woman; she carried the memories of generations of masters in her head. That meant hundreds of years’ worth of knowledge in one brain.

The knowledge gave her a quirky vibe, though.

“That’s… true, but…”

“And, Fetch, doesn’t your history with me give you a bit of karma when it comes to trusting me?”

I completely crushed her ability to con me, but before I met her, Fetch was a notorious scam artist. Just look at how she tried trapping me in a cave to identify mimics.

Struck at the heart, Fetch couldn’t find the words and stammered instead.

“Well, well, it’s a lie that I enjoyed it! That’s never happened!”

“Alright, I’ll believe you.”

“If you’re believing me, then it kinda sounds like you think I’m lying and you’re just reluctantly accepting it, doesn’t it…?!”

Her fist trembled in grievance.

“If you really hate it, should I act like I didn’t see it? No matter how much you struggle with that figure, I won’t react at all. I can easily do that.”

“What?!”

Fetch jumped up from her seat. Her face turned bright red. I couldn’t tell if it was embarrassment or anger, but it was probably a mix of both.

“What’s wrong with my body?!”

“Don’t bend over, look at the ground. Can you see your toes?”

“Th-that’s…! Anyway, I’m a woman who never bows down anywhere!”

“Really?”

“Of course!”

Seeing her try to evade whether she could see her toes while confidently making such claims was pretty funny. I smirked and countered.

“Think about who’s around me; saying you would never bow is a stretch.”

“…”

“The former Empress, the Eternal Magician, the Pope of the Sun, and the Pope of the Moon. Did you meet the blue-haired knight and the dark magician? Is there anyone here with a smaller chest than you?”

Fetch answered with silence. She must have remembered them well enough since she met them all at least once.

In reality, Fetch wasn’t that small by my world’s standards. She was just tall enough to see her toes with a slight bend.

However, owing to the goddess’s boundless love, women’s average looks in this world had skyrocketed.

With Iris and Claudia being average, and Erica labeled as flat-chested, Fetch’s size was practically nonexistent by comparison.

“What does chest size even matter… I didn’t want to be small…”

As Fetch sulked with contradictory mumblings after being hit with facts, Linne returned from the workshop, her enormous chest bouncing.

The stark outfit changed first caught my eye.

Instead of her usual baggy robe, she wore a beige skin-tight dress like Aurora’s. Obviously, she wasn’t wearing any underwear.

Though the exposed flesh was just her cleavage and armpits compared to Aurora’s dress, the wearer’s figure gave off a vibe that was in no way diminished.

“…”

Seeing the enormous chest swaying in the dress made Fetch let out a deep sigh.

“Here. The recovery count is done. If you run out, come to me. I’ll refill it.”

Linne ominously smiled while handing over the key. Even though she said she’d refill it if it ran out, it was questionable how long it would last since it was unlikely to be used much.

“And the weapons crafting you asked about last time is done too, so take it with you.”

To his surprise, Linne’s hands were empty as she spoke.

Before I could even ask where it was, Linne stood up from her seat and knelt by my side. Her left hand and right hand each cupped one side of her chest, and she leaned forward toward me.

A dark energy spilled out between her cleavage and suddenly the handle popped out.

“Just take it out, heehee.”

“……”

Wasn’t it the same when Nix handed over the immortal sword? Do women in this world have a dimension portal in their chests that I don’t know about?

Reluctantly, I reached out and pulled out the sword. With the sword being drawn out, her chest bounced heavily, and the strap on her shoulder snapped, cascading down.

Seeing that, the light disappeared from Fetch’s eyes.

“I found it really fascinating making it. The moment I grabbed it, ideas on how to use it flowed into my head.”

Probably because it was supposed to be made into a weapon of that caliber. I glanced over the weapon in hand. The blade twisted like liquid. Just looking at it evoked the idea of the abyss.

“What will you do with it?”

“I’ll keep it as decoration. The real weapon is different.”

I lightly tapped the Wingless Nightmare at my waist. This weapon was pretty usable, but it paled in comparison.

Of course, at this point, the concept of weapon performance didn’t matter. What good is a good weapon if there are no monsters to catch?

“Fetch.”

“…Yes, Delta.”

Her voice sounded drained of all energy. I handed her the sword, and Fetch accepted it, holding it weakly.

“Just put it in the armory. You don’t have anything else to do, right? We’re going back—”

“Hey, heehee. Hold on a second. I have something to say to you; can we send her away first?”

“If it’s useless chatter, I’ll refuse right now.”

“It’s absolutely not! I swear! My chest and… um… Also… well, okay. My virginity is at stake.”

“Not like I want it anyway.”

After a moment’s consideration, I decided to agree and let Fetch go first. Since she said it wasn’t useless chatter, I could at least listen.

Fetch trudged out of the alchemy workshop. After confirming the door had closed, I turned back to see Linne, who quickly adjusted her expression from a silly smile.

“So, what is it you want to say?”

“Eeeek…”

Returning to the mansion, Fetch stored the sword in the armory but kept trembling with shame that surged within her. She had no rebuttals, only amplifying her embarrassment.

While she trembled for a while to calm her anger, a particular blacksmith popped into her mind. The orange-haired blacksmith she’d found while searching for materials at the outskirts of the Empire.

According to an old man’s tale, that blacksmith had once been completely flat-chested but had suddenly grown to her current size one day.

Others reacted that the old man must be talking nonsense, and the blacksmith herself claimed she was always well-endowed, but Fetch, a seasoned con artist, could sense the truth.

The blacksmith was clearly lying.

‘That woman might know how.’

How to increase one’s bust.

‘Hmph. Just you wait.’

She would make Fetch regret saying no response would come, no matter how much she struggled with her figure.

Naturally, she didn’t mean to entice Delta. To get involved in a struggle between the former Empress, the Eternal Magician, the Pope of the Sun, and the Pope of the Moon? If she wanted to live long, she shouldn’t even glance in that direction.

Fetch wanted to live long. Just to restore her wounded pride, a mere reaction to say she ‘won’ would be enough.

She didn’t wish for anything else or desire it.

‘You absolutely can’t tempt someone like that with money.’

Fetch rummaged through the mansion’s storage, starting to display all the precious items she had acquired thus far. If she intended to draw someone as determined as the orange-haired blacksmith, presenting interesting items rather than expensive goods would be the right choice.

‘Her name was… Ceres, right?’

With a burst of confidence, she planned to return and surprise Delta, making her search through her belongings quicker than ever. The items she had hoarded all this time were finally going to serve their purpose.
