NOVEL SIMPLE Affirming her existence
I'm back at my ship, on my computer doing some finishing touches. Oh, and Mitsuki is lazing on my bed.
She refused Hope's Dew because... well, it traumatizes people who take it. It's pretty understandable why she doesn't want to use this universal healing substance.
Oh, and... launch.
"Argent Alexandria is officially online.", I announced out loud.
"Congratulations!", Mitsuki popped up from my bed, she ran over but fell to the ground because of her injured knee. She fell flat on the floor.
"Ow...", a whimper escapes her.
"You shouldn't run around with an injury like that.", especially when you don't have adrenaline to dull the pain.
"I know...", she stood up with a wince, "Can I try it?"
"Utopia, give her access.", I snapped my finger.
"[As you command, Your Highness. Miss Okita Mitsuki, your phone can access Argent Alexandria now.]"
"Awesome!", she logged into the site with her phone.
Argent Alexandria, the website under my company which only includes two people, me as the owner and Utopia as secretary - Akasha Agency (Not related to the terrorist organization known as Akashic Insurgency). This is my way of "destroying" the world.
"Oh wow... this is scary.", Mitsuki muttered under her breath, "This is my full history to this point!"
This site contains information about over 10 billion human, including people who died a hundred years ago, anyone else beyond that to the time of Gilgamesh is with me.
"What do you plan to do with this?", Mitsuki asks.
"To destroy culture and light tradition ablaze.", I smile, "Through persecution, I shall let the people decide who would be at the end of my Judgement."
"What will you do?", she continues with a curious look.
"With a snap of my finger...", I snapped my finger, making Mitsuki flinch, "I can display all of someone's sins to all network in the world, or I could make their net worth go poof."
"So you just delete money?", she tilted her head.
"No, I just transfer it into my own account, and may or may not distribute the money to charities and world organizations as I see fit when I see fit."
Mitsuki just stared at me, "Oh wow, going the full dictator route?"
"My friend, I already am a dictator. Hehahaha~"
But really, I am not a tyrant at all. I am just fulfilling my duty as the Silver Princess of Humanity, to rule the world is my right.
"When the time is right, I will broadcast this to the entire world. A world of chaos and order, where all secret is revealed without exception.", well, I can't do anything about the aliens who disguise themselves as humans but let's ignore that, "Where every man fights for themselves only."
I wonder how many countries will ban technology, only to find out it's futile to escape my Judgement.
I stood up from my chair, doing a bit of stretching. I've been gone for an hour now and it is getting dark.
I need to get back.
"Utopia, how's the camp?", I asked.
"[Everything is in order, Your Highness. Francis had returned from exploring the labyrinth underneath the Boss Arena.]", he reported.
Good.
"Mitsuki, let's go.", I held my hand out.
She took it with a bright smile, "Let's go!"
In a flash of electricity, we ended up at the camp outside of the portal. And I can't say that Mitsuki is happy seeing the state of this place.
"Why are there so much trash?!", she whined.
Papers were everywhere, as well as discarded paper plates and utensils, and a few water bottles were left there.
"You know, I am the last person you should be complaining to.", I took out a cigarette, "Fu... I support global warming after all."
"I know! But you are the only one here!", she tried to hug me again, but I spun and dodged her advance.
"Charlotte! Let me hug you just once!", she pouts cutely.
I rolled my eyes, "No, not here."
I don't like people touching my body, especially a hug, it makes me uncomfortable and very violent. Because a hug is the best show of trust, to bring someone so close to my body, close enough for a knife to get to me. Just... no.
"Let's go now.", I grabbed her hand and made her follow me through the portal, "You can scold them in El Dorado."
We got to the other side, and the students were preparing for dinner. I summoned Ouroboros Omniscia to my side, and with a snap of my finger, both sides opened up. I proceed to take out a few grills, and a few bottles of seasonings.
"Damn, it really has everything.", Mitsuki was amazed once again. It doesn't take a lot to distract this girl.
"Everyone!!", I shouted, catching everyone's attention, "I brought out some grills and a fuckton of seasonings, so let's get the barbecue going!"
The students began to huddle around me as I passed the grills and seasonings to them. I let them set up and do their own things...
Like always, I am not good with having small talk so I quickly went away into the forest to have a smoke break. Mitsuki decided to follow me after scolding the students about littering.
"Come on now, Charlotte! Let's have some fun with the students!!", Mitsuki wanted to drag me back.
"No, I am on vacation and I will do whatever I want to do.", I let out a cloud of smoke, "I am not a social person, being on the same level as other people is... uncomfortable."
I am the Silver Princess of Humanity after all, for me to speak on equal ground as my subjects would be unbecoming of my stature. And no matter how hard I try, I can't connect with people despite being the embodiment of humanity.
But I have accepted that the moment I learn about my nature as the Akasha. Humanity is the apex of this world, unchallenged and chaotic, standing above all. As the representative of mankind, I of course stand above even humanity itself.
The most human of all humans is inhuman.
This is where Sinclair failed and I succeeded. We are the same person, both proud and, but she reached out to others, to change them for the better. That was her downfall.
I accepted our position, but she rejected it. Standing above all of creation is my destiny and right. I can never look up to anyone but myself, I can never aspire to be like anyone.
I walk my own path, and I follow my conviction.
To carve a path to the future, for people to crave that future. This is my role as the Akasha. Gilgamesh set the era of humanity into motion, Pandora separated Humanity from the Divines, Romulus laid the foundation for civilization, and Remus brought upon a future without gods. And I shall burn away the remnants of all.
Let the future come in flame, let the future come in sins.
After all, tomorrow promises nothing.
"Umm... Charlotte?", Mitsuki waved in front of me, "You are doing that thing again."
"What thing?", I tilt my head.
"Your internal monologue, I know you like to do it a lot—"
I put my hand on her mouth, shutting her up.
"Quiet now, my friend.", I finish my cigarette before continuing, "I am reaffirming my existence with myself, it's like therapy for me. I need to do this once in a while."
I let go of her and sat down under a tree, Mitsuki also sat down with me. It is nice to have a few moments of relaxation in this chaotic world.
I have a lot of duties to fulfill.
Stopping Theia, putting Tiamat to sleep, and killing Roko, I also need to think of a way to deal with Avalon and Kalpas. After that, my plan to bring upon a Utopic Dystopia.
We stayed silent for about ten minutes when the sun was going down, we headed back to the camp to get some food.
And... something interesting happened.
A student was touching Ouroboros Omniscia, skin-to-metal contact. Joyce Allen, they are a bit reserved and don't interact with me that much besides the nightly report, to think they would be able to make the coffin accept them.
Still, the coffin weighs 4 tons. It's impossible for anyone to hold it, much less abuse it like I do.
"What do we have here?", I smile and cross my arms.
Everyone shivered and turned to me.
Joyce bowed toward me, "Uh- um, sorry professor! I didn't mean to touch your stuff without your permission!"
"It's fine.", I waved it off, "So tell me, how and why did you decide to touch it?"
The students came together to tell me what they did. It's pretty funny, they decided to make a game out of a God Slayer. So everyone take a turn to touch it, of course with some safety precautions, well, only one, tying the challenger with a rope and pulling them back before the coffin could eat them.
And now I realized that the students must be very horny with Ouroboros Omniscia constantly whispering seductive lines. I know some of them fucked during the trip, the culprit is the coffin.
"Anyhow, as a prize for all of you making it this far.", I clapped my hands together, "I will sing for you guys."
"Her voice is amazing!", Mitsuki cheered.
"After you answer my assignment of course.", I added.
The students all groaned, they do hate assignments that much. Even if it's a simple one.
