I’ve already become a titled Douluo, and only now the system arrives?

Chapter 16: Tang San and Xiao Wu Run Away

Chapter 16: Tang San and Xiao Wu Run Away

At Shrek Academy, on the square, all the teachers and students looked in one direction. A powerful fluctuation of soul power was emanating from there, making it impossible for them to sleep.

"Such a powerful soul power fluctuation. Thunder Emperor is truly formidable."

"If Thunder Emperor gets serious, I wouldn't be able to withstand a single blow, right?" Zhao Wuji couldn't help but shrink back as he felt the soul power waves from afar.

He knew Qin Xiao was strong, but he hadn't expected him to be this powerful.

"Who said you couldn't withstand it?"

"Didn't you endure under Thunder Emperor's soul skill for half a stick of incense?" Flander said with a sly glint in his eyes.

"Ah, right." Zhao Wuji's eyes lit up. "With this achievement, even a Soul Douluo would feel inferior."

His self-satisfied demeanor made everyone roll their eyes, as he was really good at giving himself credit.

"Be careful, a very strong aura is heading towards the academy!" Suddenly, Flander's expression changed, and he spoke in a grave tone.

Coming to the academy?

Everyone was startled. Why would such a strong soul master come to the academy? A bad premonition arose in their hearts.

Zhao Wuji and Flander bravely stood in front of everyone, with Li Yusong and Lu Qibin protecting Dai Mubai, Tang San, and other students from left and right.

The food-type soul master, Shao Xin, stood among the crowd.

At this moment, a figure appeared in front of everyone.

"Dean Flander, long time no see."

He spoke first.

"Clear Sky Douluo!"

Flander's eyes were filled with surprise. He never expected that Tang Hao would be the one clashing with Qin Xiao.

In the crowd, Tang San was even more shocked and exclaimed, "Dad?!"

His voice was full of disbelief.

Not just him, but also Dai Mubai, Oscar, Ning Rongrong, and the other teachers and students were incredulous.

What was going on? Tang San's father was a Titled Douluo?

"Little San."

Tang Hao called out with a complex expression and then said to Flander, "Thank you for taking care of Little San these days, but now I have to take him away for reasons I can't ignore."

"You're welcome," Flander immediately stepped aside, allowing Tang Hao to approach Tang San.

Tang San, overwhelmed with emotion, rushed into Tang Hao's arms.

"I know you have many questions, but now is not the time to talk. Follow me. I'll tell you the truth about everything later," Tang Hao said solemnly.

"Okay." Despite his many questions, Tang San could only hold them in.

"Dad, can we take Xiao Wu with us?" he asked, his voice filled with a pleading tone.

"Do you wish to come?" Tang Hao turned to Xiao Wu.

Xiao Wu instinctively shrank back, feeling intimidated and unsettled.

"Didn't Little San say his father was just a desolate blacksmith?"

"But what's this about being a Titled Douluo?"

"And did he already figure out my identity? What about Little San…"

Confusion, doubt, and other emotions flooded her mind.

"Do you not want to?" Tang Hao frowned and asked again, but Xiao Wu could feel the pressure in his tone.

It was as if saying 'no' would lead to dire consequences.

Indeed, that was the case. Half of Tang Hao's fight with Qin Xiao was because Qin Xiao's presence would affect Tang San's development, and the other half concerned Xiao Wu, a hundred-thousand-year soul beast who had taken human form, an asset too valuable to lose.

"I, I am willing," she said, lowering her eyes and avoiding looking at Tang Hao, speaking in a fluster.

"Alright, then let's go."

With that, Tang Hao, holding Xiao Wu in one hand and leading Tang San with the other, disappeared from the spot at a rapid pace.

"They're gone just like that?"

The people of Shrek Academy were left in a state of bewilderment.

Chapter 16: Tang San and Xiao Wu Flee

At Shrek Academy, everyone was baffled.

Shortly after, a streak of lightning shot across the sky, and Qin Xiao appeared from the light.

"Your Highness."

"Thunder Emperor."

"..."

Flander, Zhao Wuji, and others greeted him respectfully, even more reverently than before. It was clear to everyone that despite his young age, Thunder Emperor was incredibly powerful.

Hadn't the Sky Douluo fled with his son?

Qin Xiao glanced over the crowd, noticing the absence of Tang San and Xiao Wu, and smiled, "Tang Hao, oh Tang Hao, the worst thing you could have done in your life was to make an enemy out of me."

Everyone shivered involuntarily at his words.

After a while, Qin Xiao withdrew his gaze. He didn't pursue them.

His recent flurry of attacks had drained much of his soul power. If Tang Hao had been pushed to detonate more soul rings in desperation, the outcome would have been uncertain.

But he was still young, with plenty of time. In three to five years, he could surpass Tang Hao with his own efforts. If the system cooperated, this time could be significantly reduced.

Meanwhile, Tang Hao had fled over a hundred miles with Tang San and Xiao Wu before stopping by a stream.

"Cough, cough."

He couldn't hold back anymore and coughed up blood. The injuries he had suppressed erupted, combined with the backlash from the detonated soul rings and damage from Qin Xiao's attacks. It was a testament to his strength that he hadn't died on the spot.

"Dad, what's wrong?"

Tang San immediately became anxious.

Xiao Wu, frightened, hid to one side.

"I'm fine."

"Just need to rest for a while."

Tang Hao sat down, trying to downplay his condition.

Tang San didn't buy it and, despite Tang Hao's objections, checked his pulse, his face turning ashen. The chaotic state of Tang Hao's blood flow, meridians, and soul power was far from 'fine'.

If it had been anyone else, they might have died by now. Tang San immediately produced a set of golden needles, intending to use acupuncture to help Tang Hao regulate his breath.

"You know this?" Tang Hao was surprised.

"It's a method taught by Teacher Yu Xiaogang. It should help you," Tang San said without hesitation.

"Yu Xiaogang knows this?" Tang Hao frowned, but he nodded, allowing Tang San to proceed.

Tang San inserted the needles into Tang Hao's acupoints. Moments later, Tang Hao felt much better, "Heh, Yu Xiaogang, that waste."

"Spit."

"I didn't expect him to have such a skill. After all these years, he's finally made something of himself."

He marveled, but Tang San didn't respond to his remarks. Instead, he asked, "Dad, who injured you like this?"

After a pause, Tang Hao replied, "You should know, it was Qin Xiao."

It was really him!

Suspecting was one thing, but having it confirmed by Tang Hao was another. At that moment, Tang San's eyes filled with hatred, veins on his forehead bulging, fists creaking, almost crushing his teeth.

He desperately wanted revenge.

Unfortunately, he was no match for Qin Xiao and could only rage impotently.
