Huan Caiyi was speechless.

She watched Yu Long read the books about Magi Craft enhancement and pulled some papers. He mumbled unrecognizable words and scribbled on the white papers to devise some formula for Mana Cultivation. 

Yu Long briefly experimented with himself, creating a secondary brain in Kaiju World to cultivate Mana. He simulated everything one might need to wield such energy and achieved a 'small' success after a few minutes.

After a while, Yu Long's secondary brain generated a faint white light and appeared very mystical. He smiled because he was able to train Mana now.

He was cheating, but whatever. 

Now, Yu Long must make it suitable for Huan Caiyi.

Huan Caiyi and the others are surprised by this sudden commotion. 

"Do it. My master will give you his favor." Chu Yuechan, who had tasted Yu Long's ability, alerted the Demon Empress.

Huan Caiyi nodded and pricked her finger, dripping blood onto Yu Long's palm. Usually, blood would stain one's skin, but her blood somehow floated above his palm.

Yu Long observed Huan Caiyi's blood and nodded. Then, he started experimenting again.

Several minutes later, Yu Long sighed and pushed a paper with a Mental Mana Technique away.

"Done." 

Huan Caiyi's pretty eyes glimmered in disbelief, 'Exactly thirty minutes.' 

'He really did it in half an hour...'

'Is this something that humans can do?'

"What are you looking at? Check your technique." Yu Long said while rubbing his forehead. He has used Thought Accelerations to make this new technique.

"Oh, okay." Huan Caiyi awkwardly picked up the paper and checked the content. She read it inwardly, reciting the formula Yu Long had carefully written and feeling the energy called Mana churn in her head. But this sensation only lasted a few seconds before soothing coldness washed her mind.

Her mind also gained supreme clarity, as if everything that confused her became 'clear' as glass.

She closed her eyes and meditated for five minutes, "Amazing." 

"This is amazing." 

She opened her eyes and said, "Yu Long, you're amazing." 

Yu Long rubbed his nose, "This much is nothing." 

"So, how do you feel?" 

"I felt everything in my life become clear now. If I had to use an analogy, something stuck in my mind has gotten unblocked and allowed me to be free." Huan Caiyi relished this new sensation. 

"Thank you, Yu Long." 

"Also, I'm sorry..." 

"I've been a bad host for you. As the Empress, I should think of the bigger picture." 

Yu Long shook his head casually, "It's fine." 

"Even though you tricked me a few times, none were harmful." 

Huan Caiyi bitterly smiled, "You're generous." 

"This Mental Mana Cultivation Technique is priceless." 

"I don't think there is something in the Illusory Demon Realm I could use to repay you." 

"What are you saying?" Yu Long tilted his head. 

"Aren't we business partners, my cunning fiancee? Helping you this much within my limit." 

"I..." Huan Caiyi doesn't know what to say. She followed the mysterious voice to befriend Yu Long, but she didn't expect he'd give her this much favor.

She felt guilty. Even though people call Huan Caiyi a tyrant, she still has heart and conscience. Being in this situation makes Huan Caiyi feel like she is a freeloader.

Yu Long stood from his chair and stretched, "Let's go and check the city." 

"Oh, by the way..." 

"That Mental Mana Cultivation Technique's name is Sky Demon Sutra." 

"It's based on your blood, after all."

Still, Huan Caiyi didn't dare to ask for too much favor from Yu Long. 

She didn't have a way to pay him back.

'Well, maybe my body is still worth something. I won't reject Yu Long if he wants to sleep with me.' 

'I'd be so happy if he did so...'

Chu Yuechan stared ahead, "Master, I felt a familiar presence from that direction." 

She was pointing at the massive gate far ahead. 

Yu Long and Huan Caiyi stared at the massive gate, and the latter opened her mouth to answer.

"That's the Yun Family's Compound." Huan Caiyi put on a calm expression.

"I see..." Chu Yuechan was confused by her answer. 'Why did I feel a familiar presence there, then?' 

'Wait, doesn't that mean Yun Canghai and Yun Che were there?' 

Yu Long thought, 'They arrived earlier than us.' 

'But no, this family didn't come from Yun Changhai and Yun Che.' 

'I extracted Aspect of Manifestation from Yun Che's bloodline, which originated from a God-level existence in the Primordial Era of Gods.' 

'A portion of Yuechan's bloodline is coming from the altered bloodline of the Yun Family.'

"Do you want to visit the Yun Family?" Yu Long asked Huan Caiyi.

Huan Caiyi shook her head gently, "It's not time yet." 

"We should go somewhere instead." 

"Oh, where?" Yu Long was curious.

Huan Caiyi smiled faintly, "Follow me. I promise you this place will give you a surprise." 

They followed Huan Caiyi to the shocking location in the Demon Imperial City, moving from alley to alley. Then, they went to the underground level by a sewer system and arrived before a gate. 

The gate is made of black stones and looks very mysterious.

Huan Caiyi waved her hand, and the fiery purple swirl covered the gap of the gate, forming a portal.

"This is enhancement?" Yu Long commented in awe. 

"Mhm." Huan Caiyi responded with a nod. "I made this by burning some of the Purple Abyss Stone, which is a spatial resource, with my flame and creating a portal to another place." 

"What lies behind this portal?" Chu Yuechan asked, raising her voice.

"A City Hiding in the Abyss.." Huan Caiyi answered. 

"Come in." 

As they walked into the purple portal, they suddenly found themselves in a busy area with many people. 

Yu Long's eyes lit up because they weren't in the Illusory Demon Realm anymore. In fact, they are on an island several hundred thousand kilometers away.

 "Welcome to the Hidden In the Abyss City." Huan Caiyi introduced the city to Yu Long.

"This is where all my followers gathered." 

"I've gathered them today for you, Yu Long." 

"You're really ready, huh?" Yu Long couldn't help but praise.

Huan Caiyi chuckled, "I will do anything for my people..."
