DISCUSSION 

Bella transformed into her human form, and the outcast Cullens were surprised by her change. They took in her white hair, blue eyes, and new height, now six feet tall.

Emmett whistled, "Wow, Bella, I wouldn’t have recognized you if Kate hadn’t called your name!"

Esme moved tentatively toward Bella, her heart full. "Bella, I’m so sorry for what happened. Are you... are you okay? What happened to you? How did you become a dragon?" Now that Esme has time to calm down she realised that Bella is a dragon.

“Esme, one question at a time," Tanya said, hugging Bella to her side as soon as Bella transformed. Irina was on the other side of Bella, hugging her as well, while Kate stood in front, giving the Cullens a steely look.

"Let’s all go inside and discuss everything," Carmen said.

 Everyone went into the house and took seats. The Cullens scattered around while the Denalis sat with Bella.

"First off, let’s hear your side of the story," Tanya said, wanting to get everything out in the open.

Esme explained their side, and the Denali sisters were surprised when she finished. Kate turned to Rosalie.

"Did you try to kill Edward?" Kate asked in a surprised tone.

Rosalie proudly responded, "Yes, I did, and I would have if Carlisle hadn’t intervened."

Bella was surprised that Rosalie had stood up for her like that. She was very confused. Bella asked, "Rosalie, why? Why stand up for me when you ignored me all this time or were just angry with me for no reason? You hate me."

Rosalie sighed. "I didn’t hate you, Bella. I did all those things to make you leave, even though you are my bond sister. I was trying to protect you. Somehow, I knew that Edward wasn’t your mate and that you would only get hurt along the way."

"I... I had no idea," Bella said.

"I know you were in love with him," Rosalie continued, I didn’t know what else to do without hurting you more.

Bella looked down, feeling ashamed.

"It’s okay, Bella," Irina said, sensing her mate's emotions as Tanya and Kate pushed love and understanding through their bond.

"Rose, why didn’t you tell me that Bella was your sister?" Emmett asked in a hurt tone.

"Yeah, why haven’t you told us?" Alice asked.

"Because Edward would have found out from you, and God knows what he’d do when he found out," Rosalie replied.

Esme sighed and squeezed Rosalie’s hand. "It’s okay, Rosalie. We understand, especially now that we know what Carlisle and Edward are capable of."

Esme turned to Bella. "I know it will take time for you to forgive us and let us back into your life, Bella. We should have known better. I suspected something, but I ignored it because I thought Carlisle was my mate and was doing things in our best interest. It turns out, he isn’t even my mate. But regardless, I see you as my daughter and always will."

"Wait, Carlisle isn’t your mate?" Kate asked, surprised, the couple did look happy together.

"No. He lied to me all these years. I just found out a few days ago."

"I’m sorry he did that to you, Esme," Bella said, concerned. "Are you okay?"

"I’m fine, dear. I will be okay. Can you please tell me how you became a dragon? That is if you’d like to share your story."

"It’s not a problem," Bella said, and she began telling them what had happened to her in the forest after Edward left her.

"I’m so sorry that happened to you, Bella," Alice choked out, with unshed tears in her eyes.

Bella sighed. "It’s okay. I’m just happy my mates found me, and I’m now a part of a family that loves me."

All the Denalis nodded in agreement while the Cullens looked ashamed.

"So, if you’re not part of the Cullen coven anymore, what are you going to do?" Kate asked curiously.

"Esme is our leader now," Emmett said proudly.”

“But we don’t have any plans right now," Esme finished.

"Why don’t we join covens, with Esme as co-leader?" Alice asked, coming out of a vision.

"Did you just see that?" Tanya asked.

"Yes, I saw it, but only if you make that it," Alice said softly.

"I have to ask my coven first, and the queens need to be notified, among other things. They need to know that Bella will join us because she’s our mate. Here’s what I can do—you’re welcome to stay here until we decide on whether you can join our coven," Tanya said.

"Thank you," Esme said gratefully.

 "We were planning to go to Italy in a few days to see the queens. You’ll have your answer before then." Tanya said.
