Loving The Dragon Lord CEO

Chapter 290

290 True Father

CHAPTER 290

“Zane Anders. That bloody bastard.” Jade voiced out through gritted teeth.

Gosh! Was she so angry?

“Another thing, Criss Cross is the one in the center and they are at a Criss Cross from each other. The names alone, tell their position. That bastard thought he was smart but I figured it out when they mentioned their coordinates.”

“You are smart baby.”

“Always. I am your number one bodyguard, Jade. Smartness is one trait I must have.”

“Thank you, my friend. I would call Arctic now and give him the coordinates. They should prepare and get our armies there to St. Jamie.”

“Yeah. That would be wise. And what about Xander. Would you let him know?”

.....

“I do not know if he would stop me but in the next meeting after we have gotten more information from Arctic, I would let everyone know this.”

“Okay then. Meaning we are attacking them at sea and their warehouses?”

“Sure. I am burning it all to the ground.”

“That’s my girl...”

Jade picked up her phone from where she had dropped it on the bed and quickly put a call through to Artic.

“Hello? Boss good evening.”

“Hello, Artic. Guess who I have here wíth me?”

“Who? The Dragon Lord?” Arctic guessed without a second thought to it.

She asked away at him. He really did put his family second in some things.

“Dragon Lord...” Jade shook her head. “Why would Xander be the first to come to mind?”

“Because I was hoping you two would have made up by now and well...”

“Well whàt?”

“Mated or something. Whatever dragons do and you are dating.”

“Whoa!”

Asia could not help giggling at his response and her initial shock.

She shot her a cold glare, wanting her silently not to take this funny.

“What? Isn’t that what he wants? And virtually everyone else wants that for you.”

“Including you?”

“My opiníon does not matter, Lady Jade.”

“It does,” she cut in quickly. “Your opinion does matter. You once said you considered me a daughter, so yeah. What do you think?”

“It is as plain as day that he makes you happy and your happiness is what your parents would have wanted, no matter who the person is. He made a mistake, I did too. If you took me back, then please accept him becàise I do not see anyone with whom your happiness lies.”

“Spoken like a true father,” Asia mouthed to her.

Rolling her eyes, Jade smiled at her friend while shaking her head. “Fine. When this all settles down, I would let him know. Thanks for your sincerity.”

“Anytime. Okay since it isn’t Xander that is there with you, I am assuming Asia is listening?”

“You bet, dad,” she quickly responded, bringing her head close to Jade’s phone.

“Hello, darling.”

“Wait, when did you two make up?” Jade cut in quickly.

She recalled telling Asia to reconcile with him but that was the day they got attacked. So how and when did that happen when they drone straight here to Xander’s mansion.

“Well, after we arrived, he called later that day to check in on me and you, so I told him and we made up.”

“Awwn so touching and no one informed me. Why do I feel like the third wheel now?” Jade pouted at Asi.

“You would never be a third wheel in our relationship. You matter to us both.”

“Thanks.”

“Ahem! As nice as this sounds, I am guessing it wasn’t why you called me,” Artic interrupted.

“You got that right. It is about Anders. I want to make my move against Zale.”

“Very well. The men would begin to mobilize on your order, my Lady.”

“Alright first off, Asia would send you coordinates of our attack. We would be destroying all their secret warehouses in St. Jamie.”

“St. Jamie? Why not the o?es at Moon Crest?”

“They would be expecting us in their holds. Especially the ones everyone knows about. Asia found this out during her capture.”

“Okay, I understand. Would we be attacking his residence? I would want us to give him a nice treat as well so he has a grasp of what the Frost family went through during his attack.”

“Umm for now we would have to pause that one, dad. She and Xander staked outside his mansion. Though it was heavily guarded, we suspect he may be up to no good and have things up his sleeve,” Asia explained.

“Okay. Just tell me what you need and I would get everything ready.”

“Thank you.” She went ahead to make a list of weapons, armies and even mercenaries to be hired just to prepare for the attack.

“Once you have surveyed these coordinates, report back to me, please. If possible, can I get a sound report by this time tomorrow?”

“Yes, Boss. You will. I would go there myself and have a few persons with me to stake out at the other sites.”

“Alright. Make calls as well, and have one of our allies contact him for business. I need to know exactly what they have stocked up.”

“Got it.”

“Once the reports are in, I would inform the others here. Let’s see how the dragon lord wishes to assist. I won’t sit back while Zale plots more.”

“We won’t. This is our war, Jade and it is time to let blood flow,” Asia assured her. “Always remember, you have my guns and service.”

“Mine too, My Lady. We are yours. Give the order, we obey.”

“Then let the war begin.”

They made some finishing touches and the call went dead. Now Asia and Jade were free to have their time alone to themselves.

She took the cardboard and rolled it before tàking them to her desk and came back to sit beside her fríend.

“I know that look, Asia. Tell me, what is bugging you?”

A small smile spread across Asia’s lips. It wasn’t intentional but seeing as she was done with the meeting, her mind went back to her foreplay and oral sex with Aramis.

As much as she felt good about it, she still wondered.

“Nothing much.”

“Ahan... That simply means there is something heavy,” Jade demystified herself.

“You know me. I just...”

“It’s Aramis right?” Jade asked, interjecting.

Asia wanted to lie but when she gazed up and her eyes met with Jade’s she lost. “Yes.”
