MARVEL: start with limitless technique

"I'm just asking you what happened out there, Mr. Howard. Tell me what you saw. I don't care if it saves your life or not."

"When the assassin woman attacked us, Michael pushed me into my own room in the hotel, went into the room with me, and closed the door. I'd be dead right now if it weren't for his quick reflexes."

"And what happened next?"

"We came up with a plan. He was going to go into the bathroom, create a distraction and while she was trying to break down the bathroom door, I was going to attack her from behind and knock her out, but I failed."

"Why?"

"I made too much noise trying to get out from under the bed. When the woman noticed me, I immediately grabbed her hand and tried to grab the gun. Several shots were fired during this time."

"Okay, you don't have to tell me everything, just tell me what made this woman's head turn into a fucking crescent moon."

Howard Stark stared at the general before continuing to speak.

At the moment Howard was under harsh interrogation for the events of a few hours ago.

"Since when is the assassinated person being questioned as the prime suspect, General?"

"Normally, an important scientist like you being assassinated wouldn't be a big deal, but... not if the agents assigned to protect you arrive on the scene to find the assassin's head smashed in with a stick."

"Anyway, when I saw the bathroom door open and Michael came out holding a stick, I was going to ask him for help. I figured if there were two of us, we could easily take her down because I was already holding the gun, but she punctured my foot and as I fell to the floor, she grabbed the gun and aimed it at my head."

"When the woman was about to put a hole in my head, everything seemed to slow down in my eyes, I thought I was going to die. While I was waiting to die, I saw Michael standing on one leg like a ninja on the bars of the bed. When the gun was about to fire, I saw Michael blowing steam out of his mouth and then hitting the woman's head with a stick at the speed of light. If that was a sword in his hand, the woman's head would have split in half in an instant."

"I feel like I'm listening to a ridiculous Japanese fairy tale."

"I told it like it is."

The general sat across from Howard, took a deep breath, and began to think about the consequences of this incident.

They were so far along in the super soldier project, that having someone who could already do what they were trying to do at such a critical time could change everything. The general thought for a while and then decided to keep this man secret until the super soldier project was completed.

If the ministers and the senator found out about this, they might rush the super soldier project and throw the whole thing in the trash. Just then, a soldier ran into the dark room and gave the general a piece of news that was one of the top ten on his list of news he didn't want to hear.

"General! A prisoner named Michael has escaped."

When the general heard the news, he cursed the soldier and asked how such a thing could happen.

"General, the man broke one of the iron fingers of his cell and used it like a sword to disarm anyone who crossed him until he got out."

After making sure the soldiers couldn't follow me, I looked down from the rooftop over the area where tonight's expo would be held.

My original plan was to stay in the cell and join the military voluntarily after I'd cleared myself, but I got a mission from the system about escaping from prison.

My first idea was to ignore the mission and not take the risk, but when I found out that the reward was an unknown level general cultivation technique that would improve all my skills, I did not hesitate for a second and escaped with brute force.

Moreover, after I escaped and the mission reward was injected into my memory, I received a new mission.

As I received my new mission, I got some good news from the system. I only had to do two more missions to finish my mission series.

The mission I have now is only one of them.

It showed me the location of Steve Rogers, the future Captain America, every second and wanted me to make friends or enemies with him.

Being a friend or an enemy will not affect the mission reward, so of course I choose to be a friend because Captain America is like Marvel's Naruto.

If I beat the shit out of him, he'll probably forget it in a day, but if I give him a piece of candy, he'll risk his life to protect me. So I'm going to do the easy thing and be friends with him and move on to the next mission.

I still have soldiers all over the city looking for me.

While lying on this roof for a while, waiting for the sun to come up, I decided to use my newly acquired general cultivation technique for a few hours.

Sitting cross-legged on the roof, I chanted the incantation and was able to feel the energy of the cosmos in the universe. Sitting there cross-legged, watching the little bits of light slowly coming towards my body, it was already noon before I realized it.

When I opened my eyes and saw the birds landing on me, a smile suddenly appeared on my face. The sense of absolute focus I had just felt was so good that I couldn't even describe it in words.

After another half an hour of trying not to scare the birds off of me, one of the birds took a shit on me and I kicked them all off of me and looked to see where my mission target was.

I found the target by going into full concentration breathing and jumping on the rooftops.

As I looked at Steve coming through the door of the movie theater, I realized I had a very good sense of timing.
