NOVEL SIMPLE 6- big party
I had just remembered the concept of inflation, so I had to constantly worry about money. When I realized that the money I was holding in my hands was actually much more than I thought thanks to this thing called inflation, I was so relieved that I forgot to do my task and had a pleasant conversation with the girls working in the hotel lobby for a while.
As luck would have it, the room mentioned in the system mission hadn't been taken by anyone else until now. After I started to get bored with the conversation, I asked them to reserve the room for me for 3 nights and paid the money in advance.

"Girls, I think we've had enough chatting for today. Can you tell me which way the restrooms are?"
The blonde girl, who was much more interested during the conversation, immediately pointed me in a direction with her arm and told me that the restrooms were that way.
"sir the restrooms are that way but it would be a bit difficult to describe the exact location. If you want I can show you the way."
"ow thanks but I can find my way. Direction is enough..."
I declined the blonde beauty's obvious offer for the time being and made my way to the restrooms. Since my next assignment was here, I didn't need to bother going up to my room on the fourth floor.
As I continued walking towards the restrooms, I came across a man who brought back a vague memory for me. Since I could remember the important characters in a Captain America movie quite clearly, I stopped thinking about it and continued on my way. There would be no point in wasting time with an extra, right?
Unfortunately, even though I decided to ignore the guy and continue walking toward the hallway where the restrooms were located, he followed me after I had just glanced at him.
After walking through the crowd for a while, I turned around and came face to face with the man who was following me. At worst, he was a Hydra agent that I can't remember.
Even if he is a Hydra agent, it doesn't matter. He can't attack me in such a crowded area.
"Is there something you want from me?"
I stopped abruptly and the bespectacled man in his thirties staggered back a few steps. For a moment the gazes of many people in the hall were drawn to us, which was exactly what I wanted.
The man coughed twice as he sensed the stares, recovered himself, and held out his hand to me. When the people around him realized that there was no excitement there, they started to turn around.
"Sir, I was just talking to the girls in the lobby and I heard you say that you are a scientist researching a sustainable energy source."
"And?"
"I'm a scientist doing research in this field. If you've come to this party to improve your environment like everyone else, I guess it wouldn't be bad to talk and share ideas."
"May I ask your name?"
"Anton Vanko. I studied energy engineering in Moscow and I came here from the Soviet Union to participate in the science fair tomorrow. But I saw so many good things in just one day that I think America should be a natural home for scientists. That's why I'm planning to finish my professorship and move to America next year, and of course, the reason I'm stopping you now is to make some friends."
Anton Vanko... the father of the man who invented the electric whip... well, that could work. Suddenly, as if I remembered him, I softened my expression, smiled, and made a sudden move to grab his hand, which he lowered again because I didn't hold it.
"Mr. Anton, I've heard of you, my name is Michael. Just Michael."
"Have you heard of me before? but"
"oh it's not a big deal, I just read your doctoral thesis."
Anton Vanko got so excited after the simple nonsense that yes I almost broke the big-man role. I had a lot of fun for a while keeping my back straight and talking to him and suggesting he approach Mr. stark.
While I was talking to him, I quickly adapted to the situation and that's when I realized that, strangely enough, approaching Howard Stark was not as difficult as I thought it would be. After my advice, Anton said to me, I think I know where he is, please help me meet him.
Before I knew it, I found myself being led by the arm into a room where Howard was talking to some scientists.
When I walked up to some of the scientists on the balcony, I was working on some ridiculous backstory, thinking that my role was going to be ruined because nobody recognized me, but I realized that these guys, after quickly meeting me, started talking to each other about scientific nonsense.
I pretended like I understood what they were saying, but the first chance I got I shed my I'm-not-a-geek veneer and stayed close to Howard Stark.
"It's Michael, right?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think you're asking for my thoughts on your project."
"Haha, sure. Don't worry I'm a young scientist and I'm open to criticism to the fullest."
"Okay then. As I said before, for me science is just a hobby but even with my poor level of knowledge I can tell you that what you are doing is bullshit."
After my harsh words, as I expected, the group of a few people fell silent for a while. After waiting for them to digest the impact of my words, I continued speaking.
