MARVEL: start with limitless technique

Chapter 20- Howard’s pov

------ A few minutes ago

Howard Stark told the men carrying one of the car parts he used in the presentation to be careful.

The car he had used for the show had been modified so many times to keep Michael from laughing at it and it was no longer a car. So they had to take it apart before moving it to another location. Since this was a delicate process, Howard Stark stood beside the workers and carefully guided them.

After helping his men for a while, Stark remembered the girl he had promised to visit before the show. Although his promise was not a big deal for a man like Stark, who had been with more than twenty girls in the last month alone, he decided he needed a bucket to relieve all the stress he had accumulated during the show.

“Good job guys. You can take it from here, I have a nice chicken which I don't want to keep waiting."

The men busy loading the trucks with supplies realized what their boss was talking about and smiled and said they could take care of the rest of the work themselves.

These men were not weapons-making geniuses like Howard Stark, but they were engineers, each of them having studied engineering at prestigious schools. To Stark, this may have seemed like just a simple load-carrying job, but each of these engineers knew that what they were carrying were liters and liters of liquid helium compressed under extreme pressure.

When Stark left his men and returned to the backstage area, one thing that came to his mind was Michael, and he grabbed the waist of a beautiful girl who was passing by and asked her if she had seen where he had gone.

She was briefly surprised to find out that Michael was in the room right behind her. Because the person who should be in the room right now is none other than a beautiful girl waiting for him in a prepared state.

When Howard realized that Michael had stolen his chicken, he took a deep breath and decided that he had to be more careful.

Howard knew that a simple girl was worth far less than Michael, so he stopped thinking about it and started to flirt with the blonde girl who had just grabbed him around the waist when a large flaming knife flew past his shoulder.

Howard recoiled in horror and looked at the flaming gash that had formed for tens of meters, then turned around and looked at the source of the attack.

The wall of the room where Michael was supposed to be was slashed across the room and the cuts were ablaze. Thinking it was Michael who had been attacked with special technology, Howard ran to the door, opened it, and went in.

As Howard entered, he saw Michael standing over a body that had been cut in half. Michael's right arm was completely engulfed in flames and he was rocking back and forth as if he was having difficulty standing.

“Michael!”

Michael slowly turned his head to look at Howard as if he had heard his voice, then lost his balance and fell on his face.

Howard didn't realize what had happened, but he saw Peggy running toward him and told her to call an ambulance.

People all over the fair had a clear view of the explosion as a flaming sword appeared out of nowhere, reaching into the sky for dozens of meters and then disappearing.

All the people in the fair were quickly rushed out as military vehicles filled the fairgrounds.

Accompanied by a group of doctors, Michael was taken to a military hospital. For the first few hours, Howard waited there to find out what had happened to his new sidekick, but the doctors continued to take blood from Michael's body for evacuation, with no results.

When Howard realized that the doctors weren't really trying to get any results, they were just storing blood, he had them all removed from the room and called in his doctor. At the same time, he, as a person with some medical knowledge, tried to find out what had happened to Michael.

Howard threatened them and continued his medical research, saying that he would break all the agreements they had made with the army, even with the two-star general threatening him not to interfere in the army's business.

The general thought they'd already taken enough blood, so he stopped going on about it and sent some real doctors to really help this time.

And in just a few minutes they realized that Michael had been poisoned with a deadly toxin and that his body was fighting a dose of poison that a normal person could not survive.

Howard and a couple of biochemistry experts analyzed the poison and discovered that it was a previously unknown poison, so they tried to create a serum for it.

After almost three hours of work, Howard returned to Michael's sleeping quarters with a small serum. The first thing he did was to ask Jarvis, who was standing guard at the gate if the army had come back to make things difficult.

Fortunately, the general took his threat seriously and did not attempt another blood theft.

Howard entered the room and was about to inject Michael with the serum when he discovered that there was a little steam coming out of the corner of his mouth and at the same time his vital signs were much better than when he had first been brought here. Of course, the poison in her body was still there.

Howard, impressed by her self-healing mechanism, took a small amount of blood before administering the serum, entrusted Jarvis with the blood, and administered the antidote serum.
