NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 33: Sometimes, Ignorance is Truly Bliss.
To retain my sanity, and to ensure that you readers keep your purity for a while longer, we shall ignore Melissa for a bit, and return to Monia. At the very least, she isn’t doing crazy things right now…
Monia: “Why are the missions so crazy!?” She exclaimed in her head.
System: “I don’t know… In all my years, the choices given to my other hosts were never this extreme… Risa must be a far more extreme yandere then original depicted in the novel.” She replied, confused as can be.
The rewards for the other choices were amazing, but Monia was no fool. In fact, there was no real guarantee that the rewards would actually be real. Some of them were even written like blatant scams…
And as for Monia… she was far more aware of how a yandere acts, so she would never choose any bad choices. “I think that most people would have gone with the first choice on my last mission. To most, it didn’t seem that bad at all. But… well, this is probably how it would have played out:” She thought with a serious tone.
Monia: “Risa~… Can’t I go with you to work? I promise to be a good… no! I will be the greatest girl in the world!!!” She asked coquettishly, practically showing Risa puppy eyes.
Risa: “…” “Why would she want to go with me? Ah! I get it… She wants to meet up with that woman! How dare Melissa try to take my wife away from me!… Once Monia falls asleep tonight… she will wake up without her arms and legs!” She thought with a crazy tone.
“Or something along those lines. For a yandere, you truly have to tread on a melting ice lake around them. Which actually means that my system missions are very useful. They might be annoying, but they can now help me not make the wrong choice.” Monia thought with a wistful tone.
Pri: “Lady Monia, what will you be doing today?” She asked.
Monia: “Today? Nothing much, I guess.” She replied.
Sia: “Why don’t you use your phone? Since we trust you enough, we will not watch over you while you use it.” She suggested with a smile.
Monia: “Hm… Good idea!” She happily agreed.
The Twins: “…” “We don’t need to watch her while she uses her phone anymore, as Risa had already bugged it completely. Now, everything that she does on it… will be monitored. I never realized how crazy our Lady actually was…” They both thought, almost with the same exact words. Like true twins, their minds are very similar. And with how they constantly explore each other’s bodies, the two were as close as can be.
Luckily, after turning to her smartphone, Monia wasn’t given yet another mission. She honestly felt like they were being too generous with the output of them, giving her missions like they were overly cheap candy. “Ah, finally. I can do something without the weight of my life or limbs being in danger!” She happily exclaimed in her mind.
Ding!
Perhaps in an attempt to piss the woman off, once she thought of those words, a new mission popped up. And, once more, as if to spite her, the system now made a dinging sound for when she has a new mission. This worked, and Monia was very much pissed off. But, before we look at her new silly mission, we should focus on Melissa. Otherwise… someone might die, and we will not be able to witness their death!
