NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 51: Melissa's Next Gambit.
Leaving aside how much Melissa wished to just ignore all reason, and do Monia on the spot, then and there, she wasn’t just going to leave this encounter at that. Or rather, said encounter ended, but Melissa was going to have more of them occur.
Melissa: “…” “But how can I get together with Monia again? I guess that I have to contact that maid…” She thought with a sigh.
In this life, Carter was useless, and even if she has substantial dirt and leverage on him, it didn’t really amount too much at all. In truth, her only in was asking for Clare’s help on this matter. As such, she promptly called the woman.
Melissa: “When can you next help me meet Monia?” She asked with an impatient tone.
Clare: “You want to meet her so soon already? I fail to figure out who is the bigger yandere, you, or my Mistress.” She replied with a sigh.
Luckily, Clare wasn’t around Risa at the moment, so she was able to pick up Melissa’s call within just a few seconds of her smartphone ringing. Clare was oddly punctual, considering how she got no benefits from this arrangement, and even threatened her own life a decent bit by helping her Mistress’s enemy in love…
Melissa: “Yes, yes, her and I are insane. Instead of those useless words, please tell me something that is actually useful information. You know, like when I can see Monia again.” She said with a scoff.
Clare: “Tomorrow.” She finally answered.
Melissa: “So soon?” “Damn it… now I am repeating her words.” She scoffed once more, but in her thoughts this time.
Clare: “Do you, or do you not want to meet her again?” She asked in reply with an annoyed tone.
Melissa: “I was just shocked, is all. How can I not wish to meet my wife at the soonest possibility?” She replied with a serious tone.
Clare: “Good. I made a deal with backdoor deal with Grace and Monia’s mother, and from tomorrow onwards, you’ll be staying in Risa’s estate.” She explained.
Melissa: “…”
This was an amazing opportunity for the woman, but Melissa couldn’t help but think that she was assuring her death with this method. “If I live in the same place as Monia… won’t Risa surely kill me?” She nervously thought.
Clare: “You answer better be a yes… This deal was hard to secure, and I had to boast about how sticking Monia with you will be a good idea, as Monia wants to get into modeling.” She said with a tone of impatience. “If she doesn’t agree… I can never get those two to get over this difference, and just share Monia together.” She thought with a worrisome tone.
Melissa: “I’ll do it! Even if Risa tries to kill me… it is more than worth it to be able to be by Monia’s side, even for mere moments more.” She quickly agreed.
Clare: “Okay, I’ll pick you up early tomorrow. I have no idea where you live, so please message me the location of your house after I hang up.” She said with an excited tone. “Yes! Now they can fight for a bit, before pushing Monia onto a bed, and finally claiming the woman as theirs! Ah, when did I become such an evil woman?…” She thought with great remorse.
Melissa, despite being happy about this arrangement, was nervous as can be. Tonight was going to be a long one, as she needed to make sure everything was in order in the event of her untimely demise…
