Monster Taming Broadcast

Chapter 40

Record of Some Other World #2

Lumina.

A planet ruled by the Orakan race.

At night, the sky glowed like an aurora, and the land was dotted with crystalline structures filled with mysterious energy.

Yet, behind this beautiful world lay the shadow of a long-standing conflict.

An oppressive government and a revolutionary army.

The clash between these two forces had divided Lumina for decades.

Commander Rize Nova of the revolutionary army fought for justice and freedom, but time and again he faced despair against the might of the highest-ranking Seven Great Commanders.

Then one day.

Just before execution, Rize Nova was pulled into another world only to return to Lumina.

Shortly after his return, an event occurred that would shake Lumina’s fate.

Kuwwu-!

Behind Rize, the sky warped as a rift in space opened.

From beyond it, a being appeared.

A clown dressed in dazzling colors.

A bizarre and chilling smile adorned the clown’s face.

The clown was named Psycho Clown.

Descended to Lumina from another dimension, Psycho Clown slowly surveyed the surroundings. The mad light flickering in the clown’s eyes froze the souls of those who beheld it.

[Kirik.]

The clown elegantly snapped its fingers.

With that fleeting motion.

The surrounding reality began to warp.

The once solid crystalline buildings twisted as if they were mere phantoms, and objects floated mid-air, defying the laws of gravity.

Colors blended together, creating a bizarre rainbow.

The landscape of Lumina transformed into a surrealist painter’s canvas in an instant.

The Orakans who witnessed this spectacle were filled with terror.

From government-affiliated Orakans to revolutionary army Orakans, even the Seven Great Commanders, the strongest among them, were paralyzed with fear.

Nevertheless, the Seven Great Commanders forced themselves to shake off the overwhelming fear and prepared to react immediately.

They quickly assessed the situation.

This monster had come to aid Rize.

In other words, they realized it was their enemy.

Their instincts sensed that this monster was a being on a different dimension, yet the Seven Great Commanders set their combat positions.

They thought that combining their powers would give them a chance at victory.

Simultaneously, the Seven Great Commanders unleashed their powers.

Fierce flames scorched the sky, lightning cleaved the ground, and gravity waves tore through space.

A blizzard blew forth, and dark energy swirled violently.

This was the overwhelming spectacle displayed by Lumina’s strongest seven warriors.

However, to the clown, this was merely a game.

All attacks vanished just before reaching the clown.

[Kikik!]

The clown clapped its hands joyfully.

With the sound of applause, the space around the Seven Great Commanders warped.

Ultimately, the commanders fell into the worst nightmare.

One screamed, endlessly plummeting into an abyss, while another gasped for breath in a shrinking room. The remaining commanders trembled in fear, confronted by their greatest nightmares.

It was only now that they realized how arrogant it was to confront the clown.

While the screams of the Seven Great Commanders echoed across Lumina, blurring the lines between reality and illusion.

The clown playfully pointed a finger as if aiming a gun.

[Bang bang.]

As the clown’s taunting voice sounded, the Seven Great Commanders lost consciousness one by one, collapsing to the ground.

It was an incredible sight to see the strongest warriors of Lumina fall in an instant.

“To take down the Seven Great Commanders so easily······.”

A complex emotion flickered in Rize Nova’s eyes as he watched everything unfold.

Before he felt the joy of victory, he felt a strange emptiness at seeing his long-time powerful enemies fall so futilely.

The clown slowly turned its head toward Rize Nova.

[Kirik. I didn’t kill you. Instead, I erased all the power you possessed.]

“…You’ve worked hard, Master. I truly thank you.”

[Since you worked hard, give me the most delicious food in this world. I’m hungry. Kirik.]

On this day, as the government’s strongest collapsed, all Orakans affiliated with the government laid down their arms and declared their surrender to the revolutionary army, swiftly restructuring the power dynamics that had persisted for so long.

And.

In the capital of Lumina, two giant statues were erected.

《The Clown of Revolution, Psycho Clown》

Next to the statue modeled after Psycho Clown,

《The One Who Governs Dimensions, Gauntlet》

stood the statue of Kang Geon.

Though it would be years later.

Legends would be told in Lumina.

As the newly established government began to walk down the path of decay, a chilling laugh would echo from the clown’s statue, and the leaders who heard that sound would be driven mad, ultimately losing their sanity.

This was not just a simple legend but a part of the psychic abilities left by Psycho Clown, known only to Rize Nova.

Nonetheless, this legend became a warning to Lumina’s leaders and a symbol of hope for its citizens, passed down through generations.

Labyrinth Day 14.

Psycho Clown, who had been dispatched, returned.

[Kirik! I’ve feasted on delicious food!]

As Clown returned, the Hedgehog Summoner came dashing over, dododo! and hopped onto Clown’s shoulder.

[Doom Bar! Did you eat all the tasty stuff yourself? Did you not bring back anything for us?]

[I can’t bring back items from other worlds. Kirik.]

[That’s just unfair!]]

【Pururu】─What’s unfair about it? They said they can’t bring it back. hahaha

【Mysticism】─giggles

【Yumi】─I’d love to try food from another world too…

I approached the returning Clown, scanning its body and asking.

“Are you hurt?”

[None. Kirik.]

“Wasn’t it tough?”

[Kirik. It was hard to keep eating, but besides that, it wasn’t difficult.]

Then Clown went on to recount its experiences on the planet Lumina.

As Clown explained, the Seven Great Commanders started overwhelming it all at once, but they were far weaker than expected and were subdued with just one psychic ability.

Well, actually, I had already heard that story yesterday.

From the assistant on planet Lumina.

【Pururu】─But Kang seems oddly affectionate towards others. Even though he hasn’t known Rize for long, he went out of his way to use that expensive designated dispatch ticket to help.
【Yumi】─His willingness to help others is quite admirable. heh

【Mysticism】─smirks

【Pururu】─laughs Kang is kinder than he looks.

“Kind? Not so much. It wasn’t unconditional help either.”

【Pururu】─He’s just shy. hehe
【Yumi】─Though he did ask for something in return, the fact remains that he helped. Kang’s kind heart doesn’t change either. smile

【Mysticism】─giggles

As I just mentioned.

I didn’t simply give help to Rize; I had demanded a favor in return.

In other words, it was a type of transaction.

So there was absolutely no reason to be praised for being kind to someone.

Oh. By the way, I already got my return favor last night.

【Pururu】─Kang, is it really okay to meddle in other worlds like that?

“What does it matter? That’s what the dispatch ticket is for.”

【Pururu】─You’re right.

To be honest, I was hesitant at first.

The dimension magician or legendary mages I got acquainted with in the other world usually said they didn’t interfere with other worlds.

But after thinking it over, I realized that was merely their belief.

Thus, I decided that there was no need for me to follow their rules and ultimately resolved to help Rize boldly.

After all, the dispatch ticket was meant for that purpose.

Moreover, there were no designated dimensional rules that forbade interfering with other worlds.

I just needed to act as I desired.

‘I confirmed the validity of everything Rize said before helping him.’

Though I thought the probability was low.

I didn’t completely rule out the possibility that everything Rize had said could be a lie and that he was a villain on the planet Lumina.

Such suspicions were always necessary.

I would have had to experience betrayal a time or two.

Anyway.

Utilizing Psycho Clown’s telepathy, I read Rize’s thoughts and confirmed that there was not a single lie in his words before proceeding with the dispatch.

“But why isn’t he here yet? He said he’d support us with coins today.”

【Pururu】─For real. The newbie must be lost.
【Yumi】─He might be busy. It’s only been a day since the government was changed, right?
【Pururu】─Just don’t give your opinion. Reflect on being lower rated than a newbie. Missy, you reflect too!
【Yumi】─You increased your rating with Kang’s money. ㅡㅡ
【Mysticism】─😠

It was then.

Just as I mentioned the assistant, the aforementioned Rize Nova appeared on the broadcast.

『GOLD-rated Assistant ‘Rize Nova’ descends upon you with radiant splendor, crossing the barriers of space.』
【Pururu】─The giant newbie has arrived.
【Rize Nova】─I’m glad to see you. I apologize for being late.

He was the fourth assistant, Rize Nova.

【Rize Nova】─I was a bit delayed while converting my personal energy into coins. I’ll send everything right now.
『GOLD-rated Assistant ‘Rize Nova’ has supported you with 10,000 coins!』
『GOLD-rated Assistant ‘Rize Nova’ has supported you with 10,000 coins!』
『GOLD-rated Assistant ‘Rize Nova’ has supported you with 10,000 coins!』
【Pururu】─1 billion explosion. gasp
【Rize Nova】─Even after this, my rating still hasn’t increased. I thought I sent enough energy.
【Yumi】─That’s strange. You supported much more than Pururu did.

【Mysticism】─thinking

【Pururu】─Coins must be sent with sincerity. That guy’s coins lacked sincerity.
【Yumi】─What are you saying?
【Rize Nova】─Anyway, I’ll only be sending support for today. Coins consume a ton of energy. [/i>

And that was the start of my coin supply.
