“Well, it looks like they will arrive safely.”

“We’re back!”

“Wuff!”

After watching Tilura and Rahle for some time, the large building finally came into view.

Somehow, Tilura had managed to stay on this whole time.

Perhaps Rahle had sensed her fear, as there were no more aerial acrobatics after that.

As I sighed with relief, Liza raised her hands in the air, happy to be back home.

Leo barked in reply.

She was used to the mansion now, and recognized it as a place to return to.

“Ah, don’t perry. Tilura is with it. And that monster will not attack any humans.”

“Mr. Takumi. Leo. Lady Liza! Ah, I understand!”

“Mr. Takumi!”

“Kii?”

“Wuff-wuff.”

“Ahhh… Yes, yes. So you were scared…”

“Are you alright, sister Tilura?”

When we arrived at the gates, I saw that Rahle had landed on the ground. But Tilura was still clutching on to Rahle back as if frozen.

The guards were startled and pointed their spears at Rahle, and so I had to tell them that there was no danger.

Once she saw us, Tilura jumped down and ran to us and threw her arms around Leo.

Upon seeing this, Rahle’s head tilted to the side as if puzzled.

Leo pushed her nose towards Tilura consolingly, and I patted her on the head.

She was half crying, and Liza was looking at her worriedly.

Yes, she was a kind kid who could worry about others…

“Are you alright, Tilura?”

“Oh…I was scared…sniff…”

“Of course. There, there.”

“Wuff. Wuff-wuf?”

“Yes. We’ll take care of her. You go and talk to Rahle. Tilura, can you let go of Leo for now?”

“Yes… Sniff…”

“Wou!”

After Tilura let go, Leo seemed to move so quickly that I could barely see her. Then she gestured with her paw towards Rahle.

“Kii…?”

What is it…? Rahle seemed to say as if puzzled. And they moved a short distance away.

“Grau-gau! Gau! Wou!”

“Ki-kii…”

I could hear Leo scolding Rahle.

I suppose they had moved so that Tilura wouldn’t have to watch…

But Leo, we can still hear you, you know?

Regardless, I had to focus on Tilura for now.

“There, there…you must have been very scared… But it’s fine now. Leo is talking to Rahle, and that will not happen again.”

She must have been holding it all in, because after talking to her gently, she then hugged me and burst into tears.

As for Liza, she hugged Tilura from behind and joined in comforting her.

I suddenly had an idea, and so I called Liza and whispered it to her.

She nodded, and then turned around so that her tail pointed towards Tilura.

“Liza? Ahaha…thank you…!”

“Uh… Sorry, Liza.”

“No, it’s fine. Ms. Lyra will wash it later! Haha! More gently, sister Tilura!”

Tilura was now hugging Liza’s big fluffy tail.

She had been hugging Leo, and so I thought it would be more comforting than hugging me.

I apologized to Liza, as her tail was getting from the tears, but she didn’t mind.
