We talked over dinner

In order to let Sherry rest, I called Leo over to where we were, and we started training.

It was the same as before, where we tried to hit Leo with our swords.

After the orc fights, Tilura and I were feeling more confident, but we still could not hit Leo at all.

…I expected it, but she was so fast that it seemed impossible.

The fact that Leo was holding back just made it even worse… I would do it one day!

Even though I thought this, Tilura and I petted Leo when we were done.

Damn it…she really enjoyed that…

As for Mr. Ekenhart, he was pulled away by Sebastian and the butlers.

“Now, it can be while you eat dinner, but please listen to me.”

After training, I sat down to dinner along with Leo, Sherry and Tilura, who had a great appetite. It was then that Mr. Ekenhart wiped his mouth and addressed all of us.

And while I will not defend anyone who ignores our advice and goes to the forest in order to challenge the fenrirs, it should be enough to tell the people that they are not hostile. Ideally, they would not purposely seek out any fenrirs, and run if they do encounter them.”

It was one of the things we had asked Fen and Riruru.

To not attack humans to let them run away.

The fenrirs never meant to attack humans who minded their own business anyway, and so they readily agreed..

Perhaps it was also because Leo was there.

Obviously, we told them they did not need to show mercy to reckless humans that attacked them.

Our intention wasn’t that the fenrirs should not defend themselves.

“There is Sherry as well. And so I would very much like to avoid any persecution of the fenrirs by selfish humans.”

“Kyau.”

“Mmm. Well, if they went against a large pack of fenrirs, then the damage to the humans would be great. That is something to avoid as well.”

“Well, if the humans try to go to the forest to exterminate the fenrirs, I will take Leo and persuade them against it.”

“…I think you mean threaten… However, when the time comes, I will likely have to rely on you two.”

“Wuff? Wou!”

Ms. Claire must have been thinking the same thing as me, as she started to gently pet Sherry, who was eating.

And while Mr. Ekenhart seemed to flinch a little at the idea of using Leo in such a way, he also nodded in agreement.
