I follow a person. A young girl that wasn't beautiful yet was charming to see.
I am all bones. Walking corpse that follows the human girl as her sevant and shield.
I'm made to protect. Nothing to cover and nothing but bones, yet i use every part of my body to protect her.
A world so harsh, darkness surround us. Yet, i stake my life, my will and my bones to protect this young girl.
"Why do you follow me?"
Because it is my duty.
"Why do you care if i live or die?"
Because you are someone i have to protect at a cost of my life.
"Why are you doing this?"
Because i am but a bone. To protect you without regrets.

I remembered my past. It was something i have sinned.
A simple soldier ordered to burn a certain village. It was inhumane yet i obey for a cause.
Yet, after seeing the countless innocent people i burned and killed, i couldn't accept this and put a bullet to my head.
My last memories was about this girl who was staring at me with anger as she was shot.
This was something i have to atone. And...
Becoming a skeleton and saving her was something i didn't regret.
Little girl, please find your heaven. I'm gladly walk to hell to see you free...

If you are confused about all of this, this is the story.
A person woke up as he became a skeleton and saw a young girl with a desire to protect her. He didn't know the reason to do this as he did everything to protect her, losing every part of his body in the process.
Until he lost every part of his body except his head, he recalls his past memories. He was a WW2 soldier which was tasked to burn a village down but saw the horror of what he had done. His sanity broke when he saw a girl crying to her parents and glaring at him while one of his fellow men pulled the trigger and shot the girl.
Finally broke, he shoots himself and began their walk to the afterlife. He knew the reason to protect her as she begins to fade into the light while he gets pulled into the darkness with a smile.
