'An experience?' I repeated her words and I definitely didn't like them but I still calmed myself down.

"You've shown great courage" The Duchess said before she looked at me as well with a small smile.

"Both of you have" She continued as if trying to comfort me as well.

"Now let's sit and discuss what comes next some food." The Duchess spoke with her expression thoughtful.

"Yes I'm sure we're all hungry?" I smiled trying to lighten the attitude and I seemed to work as Ella nodded beside me smiling. 

We moved down the stairs to the dining area that wasn't busy with only a couple other guests inside, They glanced at us with expressions I had grown used to as the three of us finding a quiet corner taking a seat. It wasn't long until the innkeeper walked over bringing us whatever was on the menu today while giving Ella a fearful glance and scampering off. The door itself looked good but I didn't have the stomach to keep it down after last night, We ate in relative silence with each of us lost in our thoughts.
