"Wood? How pathe—ugh!" The demon looked unimpressed and didn't even bother to dodge  which was its first mistake. 

It could only let out a pain filled screech as the wooden bullet penetrated through its body and with ease as if cutting through butter. The demon looked down silently at the hole in its shoulder before it began to close up with the wound healing fast enough for the bare eye to see it.

"You're a very interesting elf aren't you—" The  demon started to speak looking at and glancing at Nessa but was interrupted by the Duchess who appeared at its side swinging her blade.

"Humans are so rude" The demons claws blurred and met the duchesses blade stopping its force completely.

The demon once again swung his claws trying to his the duchess who was caught standing still but before it could slash her a pure white sword slashed down from nowhere.

"Ugh!" The demon groaned in pain as the blade sliced through its wrist cutting off its hand completely and landing on the ground below. 

"Stand guard!" I shouted stopping the others from moving. 

Although the demon had already suffered two injuries something didn't feel right. He or it was standing still but it didn't look seriously bothered as if playing around, It was until the creature looked up did I feel goosebumps.

"Humans who can harm me are rare," The demon's black eyes slid over staring at Ella and Nessa.

 "It's not common that I get to have fun" The demon disappeared again before his words even ended.

Reappearing once more in front of me it was too fast to react and I could only watch as its claws tore through my chest sending me staggering back as blood flowed down the open wound.

"Xavier!" Ella screamed dashing over to me won't worry on her face but the demon appeared in her path.

Ella swung her blade barely blocking a swing from the demon's claws as she slid back in the dirt. Her eyes looked behind the demon toward me but I shook my head while standing up while channeling mana through my body, Although the pain stayed the wound slowly started to close up and it was then that the Duchess appeared behind the demon aiming for its neck.

"Aggghhh!" A horrific scream left the demon's lips causing everyone to scream out in pain.

'F~fuck' I cursed feeling something wet drip down my ear's.

I looked and saw that the other's had blood drilling down their ear's and The Duchess completely froze. The demon didn't let go of its advanced and it slammed its elbow into her causing her feet to leave the ground and knocking her into a tree.

"Ugh!" The duchess groaned falling onto the ground but she instantly rolled to the side and dodged a follow up attack from the sharp claw's.

"Damn it!" I cursed feeling the burning feeling coursing through my chest as I saw the demon disappearing once more. 

"This is nothing" I gritted my teeth looking up just in time to see the demon appearing before Nessa.

"Bastard!" My muscle's flexed and I threw my blade as the air broke apart and it passed through the demon's chest with no resistance.

"Gagghaaaa!" Another horrific screech left the demon's mouth and its demeanor started to change. 

"How dare a lowly being like you—" the demon disappeared again with its remaining claws swinging toward my face.

I wasn't scared and I stood firmly swinging down my empty hand before my lost blade appeared in my grasp. The demon's flesh offering no resistance as it sliced through the demon's wrist with ease leaving it armless.

"Gaagh!" The demon screeched but couldn't react as the Duchess appeared once more with her blade slashing through its neck.

"Judgment!" Ella's voice sounded out and a blade of pure white aura cut through the demons body. 

The demon went silent staring down as if in shock and before I could react its body slowly slid apart. Starting at its waist the upper half hit the floor and yet the demon still jerked around not losing its consciousness even after being damaged to such an extent.

"Y—you think t—this is over!" The demon screeched as its black eyes rolled over meeting mine. 

"The demon king is coming!" The demon's last words echoed in my ears before it fell limp completely silent.
