The morning light filtered through the inn's window casting a warm glow over the breakfast table. It wasn't until I felt two pairs of eyes on me that I felt uncomfortable and moved around in my seat. I looked to my sides and saw Ella and Nessa staring at the Duchess with similar expressions painted on their faces, I'm sure most people would be fearful receiving such gazes but the Duchess only let out a small laugh as if it was cute.

"Women" I muttered just low enough that they couldn't hear me as I continued finishing my food.

"But I think there is something we need to talk about" The duchess spoke after a couple seconds and after seeing her serious gaze I sat up a bit straighter.

"Now that we've all fully confirmed the results of Leon's skill we need to make a decision" I frowned hearing Leon's name rummaging and was confused for a second on where she was going with this.

"Do we continue using it?" The duchess spoke and my eyes went wide before frowning.

I wasn't expecting something like this to come up so quickly leaving me more than uncomfortable. I wanted nothing more than to say no and tell they don't need to continue sacrificing themselves but I kept quiet waiting for the others to speak.

"I—I think we should keep using it" Nessa was the first to speak shocking me as I looked over and saw her face flushed with embarrassment.

 "If my mana grows any more then I may be able to use even special tier magic at will without worrying about my mana reserves" Her gaze was firm as she rolled our engagement ring along her finger.

"I agree we should continue using it" Ella said with her gaze steady as she made eye contact with each of us her gaze stopping on me firmly.

"Then it's settled" The Duchess met my gaze and after I nodded she tapped her hands on the table.

"The only thing left to confirm is to schedule when each of us uses his skill," She continued with some hesitation as if trying to find the right words.

"I think we should switch every day so that we all get turns" The duchess suggested with an almost businesslike tone.

"Yes let's do that," Ella agreed and Nessa nodded as well to my side still playing with her ring.

I hadn't spoken once since the conversation started and yet a decision was made. I looked at the three women with a heavy heart trying to keep my resolve steady.
