"You mean..." My heart skipped a beat as the dread settled in.

 "You mean about Leon and his skill?" I asked looking toward her fearing for her response.

"Yes" Nessa nodded her eyes meeting mine with a mixture of emotions in them that I couldn't seem to understand.

"She told me about the man named Leon and his skill but don't blame her," Nessa's words made me clench my hands before she added quickly.

"I suspected something was going on so I went to her and begged her to tell me." Our eyes stared at each other for a couple of seconds and I stood with  face blank as I processed her words.

"I see" I said simply trying to keep my emotions in check but before I could say anything else Nessa spoke again with her voice filled with determination.

 "I want to volunteer to use the skill as well."My eyes went wide and words hit me like a physical blow. 

"What?" I muttered wondering if this was a nightmare but after a couple seconds I grit my teeth trying to stay calm.

"Nessa you don't understand what you're saying" I walked over as my voice was heavy and filled with concern.

"I do understand" Nessa replied looking up at me as her eyes were fierce with resolve. 

"you don't need to~" I quickly kneeled down in front of her grabbing one of her hands and entangling our fingers together.

"Yes I do" She cut off my words and looked down at our hands with a small smile that seemed both warm and heavy at the same time.

"I've seen how much stronger Ella and the Duchess have become and I want to be strong too so help the team in any way I can" Nessa looked up meeting my gaze 

"Nessa it's not just about getting stronger" I took a deep breath struggling to find the right words.

"I'm the hero" I spoke sternly finally realizing what I wanted to say not only to her but in the past to Ella and the duchess.

"It's my job to defeat the demons you don't need to make such a sacrifice" I gripped her hand tighter trying to show her that my words were serious but she only made a sad smile.

"I know but I can't stand the thought of being a burden" Nessa moved her other hand putting it over our entangled fingers as she made a serious face that I had never seen before.

 "I want to do this for all of us so please let me help." Her words were firm and I could see the determination and fear mixed together.

My heart ached at the thought of her enduring the same ordeal as Ella and the duchess I wanted nothing more than to say no, I knew that if I did then Nessa would give up the idea and yet I also knew how she would feel if I denied her feelings. 

"Alright" I said finally after almost of minute of silence with my stiff voice softening.

"Really?" Nessa's hand trembled slightly in mine as her eyes reflecting the flickering lamplight and I could only nod hiding my inner turmoil.

"Thank you" A genuine smile came to her face as her plump lips seemed even more inviting than normal.

"You're welcome" I rubbed my thumb over her finger looking at our hands with a complicated gaze.

"The duchess already told me how Leon's skill works and that he needs to be intimate with a woman for it to be effective" Nessa voice broke me out of my thoughts as I looked up seeing her with a serious gaze once more.

"But…..that doesn't mean I have to give away my chastity" She hesitated as I titled my head in confusion at her words.

"There's the…" Nessa's eyes met mine and I saw her cheeks flush cherry red struggling to say whatever it was she wanted to.

"…other hole" Her next words were so soft that if I wasn't the hero I might not have been able to here.

"W~what?" I subconsciously asked not understanding what was being said.

"My…Ass" Her words hung in the air between us and it took a moment for their meaning to fully sink in.
