"Hello, Yuno!" Alex grinned, greeting the newcomers with a smile.

"I knew it. You've come too." Yuno smiled with fighting intent flashing in his eyes.

"Yuno, why are you wasting time on useless trash like them? We just have to raid this dungeon. That means reaching the treasure hall. There is no need to waste time on people like them." A tall man wearing black spectacles walked out from behind Yuno and said arrogantly.

Alex ignored his presence and asked. "So, how's everyone treating you in Golden Dawn?"

"It's fine," Yuno replied also ignoring the four eyes.

"You... how dare you ignore a royalty like me you fools?" Klaus said angrily.

Alex glanced at him and asked. "Hey, Yuno who is this four-eyed idiot?"

"My senior,"

"Don't pick his stupidity, okay?"

Yuno nodded his head with an extremely serious expression.

"You... you two..." Klaus pointed at them in anger but no word came out.

"Oh my! Isn't this Noelle? How are you? The last time we met was last year during the gatherings of the royals!" A girl of Noelle's age with a voluptuous build walked over to Noella and greeted her. She had yellow eyes and long wavy vermilion hair with bangs on her forehead.

Mimosa asked her cousin Noelle. "I heard the Black Bulls is a pretty barbaric group... Are you okay with them?"

"I'm about to ask you the same thing, Mimosa! Will a person as clumsy as you be able to stay in Golden Dawn for more than a day?" Noelle commented in a comeback.

"There's no problem. Everyone in my squad is really friendly. Thanks to them, I can use the magic abilities I have right now. Speaking of which, I just remembered that Noelle can't control her magic, so have you ever been improving?" Mimosa causally brushed off Noelle's comment.

She said proudly. "Ah, a few days ago this little squad of mine had managed to complete a mission perfectly, we were recognized by the magic emperor and were awarded a star!"

"Shall we take our leave?" Alex didn't have the mood to argue with some brats so he asked Noelle.

"Y-Yeah," Noelle nodded her head.

Alex grabbed her waist and said to Yuno. "I'll see you inside then."

Noelle screamed in delight in her heart. 'I love it when he holds me like this, ahhh~...'

*Whoosh*

And with a fast speed, Alex entered one of the tunnels and left the three of them.

"What the?..." Klaus's mouth was wide open as he stared in the direction he left. "Just... how did that commoner do that?"

"That's Asta for you," Yuno said with a smile.

...

Alex and Noelle passed through many traps but he cut them all in a second.

He suddenly felt the presence of Luck in a different direction.

"Hey, what are you doing? We have to go that way?" Noelle saw him taking a different turn and asked anxiously.

Alex grinned as he said. "Just saving a friend!"

In a few seconds, the duo saw Luck bound by the smoke and was about to be swallowed up.

Alex put down Noelle and summoned out the demon slayer before destroying the smoke.

"Another powerful one appears. Who are you?" Lotus, the user of smoke magic asked with a smirk.

"I'm his friend!" Alex replied as he stood in front of Luck.

"This isn't good... Your teammates are here too." Lotus chuckled and seemed to think of a way to deal with them faster.

"No... He's mine! I'm going to beat him on my own." Luck slowly got up and smiled creepily. He then rushed towards Lotus and tried to punch him.

But Lotus avoided him easily and used his smoke magic to bind him again.

Just as Luck was about to get caught, a flying slash cut the smoke in half.

"I don't know what you think of me. But always remember that you're my friend." Alex walked beside Luck and patted his shoulder.

Luck's memories flashed before his eyes brightened and a genuine smile formed on his face.

"I guess you're right... Fighting him as a group does... seem a lot more fun."

"Things aren't looking too good for me. I guess this old man will... have to get serious too." Lotus said as his grimoire floated in front of him.

"Smoke Form: Fallen King's Cell!"

Huge puffs of black smoke began to surround the trio and began attacking them from many directions.

"You young pups aren't getting out of this one. Hahaha..." Lotus's laughs echoed around them.

Alex activated his perception and piercing through the cloud of smoke, he found Lotus's location.

"Noelle, Luck,"

"Yes?"

"He is in that direction. Noelle, you'll distract him in the right direction. And Luck will then take him down."

"But..." Noelle panicked.

But Luck said confidently. "Okay,"

After the plan was made, the trio executed it and with Alex's guidance, the plan worked perfectly.

"You were right, this is important, teamwork." Luck laughed.

Just as the trio was about to capture him, he ran away using his smoke magic.

Asta could easily stop him but he just let them go as he had to save Yuno's life.

"Let's quickly go to the treasury room. I have a feeling that something is wrong with the Golden Dawn members."

"What?" Noelle was surprised.

Luck picked up the strong presence. "You're right. The real threat is there."

The trio quickly made his way towards the treasury room.

At Treasury Hall

'Dammit! What's with this guy?... I have almost used everything that I have. And my magic is nearly used up.' Yuno thought as he caught his breath. He stared at the man in front of him covered in diamond armor.

Just as their group reached here, Mimosa was attacked from the rear and got heavily wounded.

He and Klaus were unable to see it coming. They turned around and saw a young man of average height, pale skin, and well-defined muscle tone walking toward them. There were many magic stones embedded in his body.

The duo tried to fight him but got beaten pretty badly.

'What should I do? I...' He remembered about his training with Asta and a resolved light flashed in his eyes. 'I am not going to give up!'

Yuno shot another wind blade at Mars.

"Hmph, your magic is not going to work on me," Mars said as the attack vanished after hitting his armor.

'Crystal Creation Magic: Laevateinn' Mars created a huge sword made of crystal and swung it on Yuno's head.

"Am I... going to..." Yuno murmured.

It was then.

*Whoosh* *Boom!*

Three slashes came from behind Yuno and destroyed the sword followed by an extremely angry voice.
