*Knock* *knock* *knock*

Rebecca had just returned from her job tired and was preparing lunch for her siblings when someone knocked on the door.

'Huh? Who is it?... I do not think Helena or Erika was coming today...'

"You guys stay here, I'll see who is at the door." She addressed her siblings before she made her way to the door.

Opening it, a handsome face popped into her view which shocked her completely.

"A-A-A-Asta?!" Her face flushed a beat red as she stuttered, not expecting her the slightest.

"Yo, I hope I'm not troubling you." Alex gritted her with a smile.

"Sis, who is it?" At this moment, one of Rebecca's siblings appeared from inside, looking curiously at Alex.

He looked at the stuff in Alex's hands and shouted in surprise. "Eh, are you my sister's boyfriend?"

"M-Marco, shut up! D-Don't speak nonsense!" Rebecca berated him with her face turning red like a tomato, making it even more weird.

Alex smiled and stepped forward, patting his head. "Haha, nope. I'm not. Here, I brought these candies for you and everyone. You guys like candies, right?"

"Yay. I love it." Marco snatched the candies and ran inside, shouting. "Hey guys, Sis's boyfriend brought us candies."

"Ehh? Big Sis have a boyfriend? Where, where?..." Luca, her sister, asked excitedly.

Alex and Rebecca looked at each other with the latter blushing and avoiding his gaze.

Alex smiled and raised the bouquet at her. "And flowers for a beauty!... I'm sorry for causing trouble."

"N-No. It's not your..." Rebecca carefully took the flowers and flushed hard, very embarrassed...

A few moments later, Alex's lips were twitching hard at the dining table, feeling searchlights hovering over him.

Rebecca's siblings were staring very hard at him.

"Ehh? You're a magic knight?" Luca asked, shocked by learning his job.

Alex nodded his head.

"So, how did you and my sister meet? Who proposed first? Is it you or..." Luca bombarded him with questions.

*Bam*

Rebecca lightly hit her on the head, controlling her embarrassment.

"Stop it and eat your food!"

Lica puffed her cheeks but still obediently ate her lunch.

"Do you want something, Asta?" Rebecca asked.

Alex shook his head. "Oh, please no need. I'm full."

Marco asked curiously. "So, what brings you here? Are you here to meet my sis?"

"Marco?!" Rebecca couldn't believe her brother.

Alex smiled and patted his head. "No. I'm actually here to meet you guys. Rebecca spoke so much about you all last time and since then I've been looking forward to meeting you all. I've some free time so here I am."

"Really? Then will you play with me?" Marco asked, his eyes sparkling with stars.

"Sure," Alex smirked. "How about after breakfast, you take me outside and introduce all of your friends? We'll all play together."

"Yay!" Marco threw his hands upwards in excitement.

Rebecca at the side watched everything with a smile. She was also quite happy to see her siblings getting familiar with Alex so quickly.

After a few minutes, Alex could be seen, walking down the street with Marco sitting on his shoulders.

Rebecca followed behind them while carrying her youngest siblings on her back.

"Big Bro Asta, look! There it is!" Marco excitedly pointed at the church in some distance.
"We always come here to play. The sisters at the church are very sweet."

Alex smiled at him, making their way to that church.

Before they even reached the church, they came across a young girl. She was very young around 9-10 years old. She had short blonde hair that was swept to the left side and purple eyes. She was wearing a purple dress.

She was playing with another girl her age in front of the church.

"Marie!!" Marco raised his hand and shouted happily.

The girl stopped and turned her head, looking at Marco with a cheerful smile while also giving a confused expression to Alex.

"Marco, who is he? And why are you sitting on his shoulders?"

Marco grinned, speaking smugly. "Hehe... he is, uff!"

But before he could speak any nonsense, Rebecca covered his mouth, speaking first.

"He is a friend. He is here to visit me."

"Ahh? Hello..." Marie clapped her hands and smiled, her smile very pure and innocent.

Alex smiled and asked. "Hello... By any chance do you know someone named Gauche?"

"Ehh, how do you know my big brother?" Marie was surprised, asking quickly.

Alex smiled and pointed at his squad robe. "You see, I'm a friend of your big brother. We're on the same team."

"Wow, really!!" Marie jumped in excitement.

Alex was able to mingle with them pretty easily, playing with the children.

Rebecca couldn't help but smile sweetly, watching him playing with children so naturally, creating a warm and nice atmosphere.

From a distance, Noelle watched everything with a slightly jealous expression. She bit her thumb with an annoyed face, staring at Alex playing with children.

She wanted to join in and have his all attention for herself. She wanted him to look at her, pat her head, and play with her.

Everything was going fine until Alex felt a slight bloodlust appearing out of nowhere and he turned his head, staring in that direction only to come face to face with an enraged Gauche.

A few minutes prior...

A tall, slender-built young man with light skin and shaggy light brown hair was walking in the street with a joyous expression. He had brown eyes and his left eye was covered by his hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved, blue, and purple shirt under a brown, short-sleeved shirt, light brown trousers tucked into brown trench boots.

He was carrying three bags stuffed to the brim with various toys.

But all his image crumbled down by the nosebleed that looked extremely disgusting on his face like a pervert.

Anyone who saw him like that felt a shiver down their spine, keeping their distance.

But Gauche didn't seem to care as he made his way towards the church where his little sister was.

Since he was a former prisoner and their parents were dead, she was adopted by the church to take care of her.

It was quite a contrast since most of the commoner children who had no one were never accepted, or neglected entirely, and yet the children of nobles got such treatment...

Gauche continued to make his way in excitement to see his little sister whom he was only allowed to meet once a month because of his high possessiveness.

But soon, his steps came to a halt and his smile vanished. His face turned pale in an instant as he saw the most cherished person of his life smiling at someone else, his heart shattering into pieces.
