"So, you're here, Master~"

Vanessa called out with a bright smile, approaching him.

Alex was sitting in front of Vetto's grave staring at it with a solemn expression.

After Yami killed the big guy, he and Alex created a tomb for him out of respect and pity for the member of the Eye of the Midnight Sun.

Alex's emotions were in turmoil as he was aware of the reason behind the actions of this terrorist group and somehow he could relate to them since he had also lost his everything once, burning into the furry of revenge.

'It seems knowing everything is also a curse, huh?'

Alex pondered and realized why the existence of Gods and such higher beings was mostly partial since being emotional would not change anything.

He shook his head and raised his head, turning to Vanessa. "How is Magna and Luck doing?"

Vanessa sat down beside him and smiled. "They are still sleeping but most of their injuries are healed by the magicians from the Temple. That girl, Kahono, her sound magic is pretty awesome."

Alex smiled and looked at her. "Your thread magic is also amazing. The day you will overcome your heart barrier, you'll be able to tap into your real potential."

Vanessa giggled. "Come on, Master~... Don't joke with me. I know my strength better than anyone. How can I-"

Alex cut her off and muttered. "The Red Thread of Fate! One of the unique and strongest magic out there with the potential to alter the fate itself."

Vanessa was startled as her wide widened in surprise. She stared at him and couldn't help but ask.

"How do you...?"

Alex patted her head and smiled at her. "Just remember, I will always be there for you!"

Vanessa could feel that there was something different about Asta at that moment but she couldn't grasp it, silently staring at him.

"What are you both doing?"

However, just at this exact moment, Yami appeared behind them releasing a cloud of smoke.

Vanessa flushed red, fidgeting with her fingers. She was extremely nervous feeling like a criminal who had been caught in an act.

On the other hand, Alex smiled and turned to Yami. "Nothing much, just chatting about the events that ruined our game."

Yami thought for a moment and nodded his head. "It's really a hectic day for sure. But we finished our mission successfully."

"Yeah." Alex grinned as the mission was finally over...

The residents of the Seabed temple expressed their gratitude to the members of the Black Bulls for risking their lives to protect them.

Alex and everyone said their goodbyes to everyone since they had to return back to the kingdom to submit a report and also the magic stone.

Oh yeah, Yami had asked Gifso for the magic stone, but the old man had no idea of what it was. He was just messing with them.

Secre was able to secure the magic stone that they were looking for amidst the battle. She slipped away when the game started and easily found the magic stone while everyone was fighting for their lives.

Secre was really very intelligent, knowing what her priorities were, unlike Alex and others.

The black bulls returned to their hideout to relax after a long and exhausting mission.

Alex pulled Gordon who was sulking in the corner for being able to not follow everyone and help them.

Without realizing it himself, Alex had begun to treat all of these weird people as a family, his real self started to surface.

Yami looked at Charmy and said. "I'm going to the Capital to report to the Magic Emperor. Charmy, you will follow me with the captives."

He then turned to Finral, ordering him. "Finral, open a portal for me."

Charm who had stuffed her face with delicious food asked. "Will there be tasty food?"

Finral's ears twitched after he heard that they were going to the capital. "Are there any pretty girls?"

Yami in his typical comedic fashion replied to both of them.

"Nope!"

And since everyone was resting, Alex decided to tag along for fun.

Just as they arrived at the capital and Yami signaled, Finral immediately disappeared kn the distance looking to flirt with girls.

Yami, Charmy, and Alex made their way to the Magic Knight's HQ.

Yami filled out a report, reporting all the details, and submitted the magic stone to Julius who was very proud of them for finishing the mission.

Julius even realized that Yami had grown strong during this mission. The magic emperor sure had a sharp eye.

As they were talking, appeared through communication magic and reported that the Diamond Kingdom was attacking the Clover Kingdom.

The diamond kingdom had sent a huge army and the guys leading them were the Three Commanders.

The Diamond Kingdom had Eight powerful commanders, strong enough to go toe to toe against the Magic Knight Captains.

So to send three, they were confident enough to conquer the town of Kiten.

And he had yet to finish when he reported that the Golden Dawn had arrived to protect the town from the army of the Diamond Kingdom.

Yami instantly asked Julius to go to Kiten and help the Golden Dawn defend the town.

Alex grinned and turned to Yani with his eyes staring at him hard.

Yami took a deep puff of his cigarette and grinned too.

"So, you want to go too, huh?"

"Do you have any doubt?" Alex replied.

Yami laughed. "Nope. Let's go and find Finral!"

While it was still understandable for the two of them but for some reason, Charmy also actively asked to tag along with them.

The three of them instantly left the HQ and searched for Finral.

The poor fellow was flirting with two cuties but it was his bad luck as Yami and others scared them away.

Finral cried sadly as the two women ran away, scaring off Yami and Alex.

He tried to complain but Yami instantly shut him with the words.

"Like hell, you will get a day off! You will only get a day off on the day you die!!"

Finral could only sulk and opened a portal for his squad members since he had no choice at all.
