Fanzell ignored Witch Queen and asked. "So, what makes you go out of your way and call us?"

Alex grinned and said. "Well, some of your former students are coming with an army to attack the Witch Forest. So, I thought you might be interested in a reunion."

"You bastard!" Fanzell cursed. He was hiding from the Diamond Kingdom because of his past and yet Alex called him to confront them which irked him a little.

"Hmm, The Diamond Kingdom is going to attack the Witch Forest?" Witch Queen asked coldly. Since it was her kingdom, for the diamond kingdom to attack them, was simply insulting her and not taking her seriously.

Alex smirked and dropped another bomb. "Not only the Diamond Kingdom but the Eye of the Midnight Sun is also coming here to kill you and take that magic stone..."

"Eye of the Midnight Sun?" Witch Queen's eyes glowed with a sharp light and she sighed. "It seems what has to come will come, huh? Is this what you tell me about?"

Alex smiled at her and nodded his head. "We can only delay the inevitable and not stop it entirely."

"Why don't you tell the truth to the magic knights?" Witch Queen asked.

Alex smiled and asked. "Even if I did tell them, do you think those self-centered and greedy nobles will take it just like that? After all, it held the real faces of their ancestors who for their own greed and fears, wiped out a peace-loving and kind race..."

Witch Queen stared at him and sighed, understanding that everything his every word was true.

"What are you going talking about?" Dominante tilted her head and asked.

Alex shook his head and his eyes wandered in the distance, thinking about the events of the two days ago...

After Yami and Alex build a tomb for the dead Vetto, Yami confronts Alex at the front of the grave.

"Asta, care to explain a few things to me?" Yami took a puff of his cigarette and muttered.

Alex stared at the grave and muttered. "You want to know who they are? And how I know them, right?"

Yami didn't speak a word and silently nodded his head.

"Captain, have you heard about the old story of our kingdom?" Alex muttered.

"What story?" Yami asked.

"A famous lore among the nobles... the story of a race who served a demon and tried to take control of the world and magic... One among them turns into a demon with the use of a forbidden magic and he was defeated by the First Magic Emperor..."

"What about this story?" Yami felt weird when he listened to that story since it was a famous tale popular in the Clover Kingdom and he had naturally heard about it.

Alex's face darkened and he said. "What if I were to tell you that this story was a hoax? A fucking big lie!..."

Yami's expression also hardened, turning serious. "Explain clearly..."

Alex clenched his fists and said. "The race that nobles called the followers of the demons was in fact a race of kind and peace-loving humanoid creatures. They are kind and lovers of nature, living in the forsaken part of the Clover Kingdom. Their only mistake was that they were born with immense magic power which made normal people worship them as Gods since they dozens of times prevent the tragedies, saving countless lives. But..."

He gritted his teeth and his eyes showed his anger as he continued. "As time went by humans began to fear and desire the power. So, a group of royals used a magic tool to steal their magic power and then slaughtered them. The humans then twisted the story according to their wishes making the kind people into devils... Nobles and Royals are enjoying a high amount of mana, hmph, but that power doesn't belong to them in the first place... Today, they look down on others when their own ancestors have used despicable methods to snatch someone else powers before killing them... And you know what the funniest part was, Captain?"

Yami's expression had darkened after he listened to him. He didn't dare to doubt Alex since he knew Alex must had some proof to back up his claims.

"What is it?" He asked in a cold voice.

Alex smiled bitterly and said. "The demon that the First Magic Emperor slays was none other than his brother-in-law... In the slaughter of that entire race, The Magic Emperor's own sister who married the Elder of that race also died... It is such an irony that she was killed by her own family members just for the sake of powers, hahaha..."

Yami took a deep breath and released a cloud of smoke. "You're putting a very big blame on them. If you speak that without..."

Alex pointed at the grave in front of them and said. "This guy was an elf. Their race can use forbidden spells and have used resurrection spells on themselves at the brink of their death... And that's why they hate our kingdom and humans so much. That third eye on his forehead was also a forbidden spell that only their kind can use."

Yami's eyes sharpened as his veins bulged out on his forehead. "So, it's all the mistake of those snobbish nobles, huh? I should report it to Julius..."

Alex shook his head and sighed. "I think we shouldn't. We should first gather more solid evidence before telling them since as you said, nobody will believe us anyway."

Alex chuckled and shook his head. "I was just wondering if my decision to let you deal with your students is good or bad. What if you become soft since they are your former students?... Hmm, maybe I should deal with them myself."

"No!" Fanzell quickly shouted, stopping him. "Please, let me do it. Who knows if you will wipe them out completely without even leaving their remains..."

Dominante grinned and showed a fist to Fanzell, assuring Alex.

"Don't worry. If this old man dares to get soft, I'll beat up his ass!"

Alex nodded his head, smiling. "Well, I can believe you more rather than this old guy."

"Heyyy... now, you're hurting my feelings," Fanzell grumbled.
