My Life in Multiverse

Ch 76 – Between Siblings

Because there was no need to since the golem stopped just a few inches away from the crystal, refusing to move at all.

"...Hey, what's wrong with you?" Sol slapped the back of the big guy, saying. "Move it!"

But the golem showed no signs of moving a muscle. And before she could understand what was going on, flowers splurted out all over the golem, covering it entirely.

"Huuh?... What the..." Sol was caught by surprise by the flowers growing all over the golem out of nowhere.

"Good job, Mimosa!" Alex praised his partner since her plan was brilliant and she played such a move on Sol despite losing in the direct confrontation.

The Golem moved on its own and took out the magic crystal hidden inside it for the opponents to attack.

Sol tried to stop it but she was too late to realize what was happening and Alex slashed the magic crystal in half, destroying it.

"The Crystal has been destroyed! Team B has won!" The announcer announced loudly so that everyone could hear clearly.

"See, I told you it will be fun." Alex smiled at Zora and raised his hand for a high five, to which the masked guy replied with a smile before he criticized his opponents without mercy, pointing out their weaknesses and stuff that resulted in their defeat.

He especially pointed out that Kirsch's arrogance and loss of composure made him unsightly.

And he was very ruthless with his words, not showing any mercy at all.

Mimosa comforted her distraught brother by telling him that his recognition of the power of commoners and his determination to continue fighting after being dirtied were the most beautiful he had ever been.

Kirsch also agreed that the match was indeed beautiful and he also recognized Alex's strength.

The second match began between Team E and Team G. It was a fight between two siblings; Finral and Langris!

When Alex was walking back, he passed by Finral and whispered to him. "Don't hold back! Show your brother just how strong have you gotten in these few months."

Finral raised his head and looked at Alex with a serious face, nodding his head. "I will!"

Alex smiled at him and returned back to the waiting area where everyone was watching the matches. He saw Mereoleona standing beside Julius and strode over to her with a smile, asking. "What happened, lioness? Miss me?"

Mereoleona showed a beastly grin. "How about you forget about these kids and have another fight with me? I can feel that I am very close to getting stronger again and also I don't think they will give you enough challenge."

"Maybe. But at least I can give that challenge and thanks to certain someone, I have to babysit some spoiled kids here." Alex glanced at Wizard King with a displeased expression while the latter just smiled in reply.

"Yeah. He is just an idiot. Sometimes I want to burn him with my fist." Mereoleona grumbled.
While the couple was giving Julius the murdering look, the match officially began.

Alex turned his attention back to the fight and a smile crossed his face as he saw Finral taking charge of the match.

Opening a portal that led right to the enemy crystal, Finral sent Leo and Hamon forward to deal with it whilst he protected his crystal from Langris and Sekke.

Finral was able to nullify his brother's spatial magic because when two spatial magic users clashed, they could nullify each other's magic with ease.

"To think you'd be my natural weakness... How unexpected." Langris groaned in displeasure.

Finral summoned his own orbs of spatial magic and shot them at his brother and Sekke.

Sekke tried to show off but he got teleported away by Finral's magic out of the arena, leaving only Langrus.

And he didn't just stop there as he combined two of his spatial spells to create a new one, a little bit copying Magna.

His spatial balls blinked around the arena, surrounding Langris, appearing and disappearing around him which instantly forced the arrogant Langris onto the defensive as he tried to escape from it.

"Spatial Magic: Fallen Angel Garden!"

Finral muttered and wiped the sweat on his forehead since it was relatively a difficult spell to maintain.

"I have a demonic instructor who forced me to work my butt off and get stronger by using my limited spells," Finral mumbled as he remembered his battle with Alex.

On the other side of the battlefield

'Snow Magic: Miniature Garden of Illusionary Snow'

Bathing the small enclosed area in white snow, the fluffy hat-wearing Fragil Tormenta defended her team's crystal from both Leo and Hamon.

"This spell forces your senses to sleep, in here you won't be able to attac-" Fragil tried to speak but her words got cut off, stuck in her throat

'Flame Magic: Spiral Flame!'

BANG!!

Activating mana skin, Leo covered his senses and unleashed a powerful fire spell.

It was a shame that Fragil fended off his attack with an ice wall, protecting the crystal.

"What?!"

Not expecting her to react to his attack, a look of shock surfaced on Leo's face.

Fragil on the other hand didn't even blink an eye as snow magic started revolving around her figure.

Leopold's brows ceased as the little lion realized that he couldn't destroy the crystal so easily.

......

Julius observed the fight from the platform and grinned at Alex.

"It looks like your training is something else. How about you become the instructor for the magic knights?"

"Haha... if they can endure my torture and not die then maybe I'll think about it." Alex replied with a cold grin.

Mereoleona contemplated Julius's words it and nodded her head seriously. "I think it will be a good idea. Whenever you're free, come to the Crimson Lions headquarters. Maybe those lazy and weak bastards will learn a thing or two."

The Wizard king raised his eyebrow and asked. "What's the deal between you two? You guys seem pretty close with each other."

"You got a problem with that?" Alex and Mereoleona spoke simultaneously in a threatening voice.

"No-Nothing." Julius wanted to pry further but their cold response pulled a lock on his face as he sweated.

Suddenly, Alex's face darkened and his killed intent flared up as he unsheathed his sword.

His sword was wrapped into a malicious and eerie reddish glow as red lightning flashed around him.

Alex resembled a god of death as a massive scarlet cloak covered the blade in his hand as he slashed forward.

Whoosh

Wong!!

Instantly the ground shook and a massive wall of redness spread on the ground like a giant python, cutting it in half.

It caught everyone by surprise as they watched in horror, taking a step back in fear...
