All of the grimoires flew up and went up to the suitable candidates. Everyone received their grimoires.

"I will join the magic knights' entrance exam after six months." A nobleman who was Yuno's rival in the exams exclaimed proudly.

"Good, good. I look forward to it." Drouot nodded his head.

Suddenly, a grimoire floated in front of Yuno with a bright golden light.

"A four-leaf? You mean the legendary..." The crowd murmured.

"The one that the first wizard king received?" Father said.

"Him? That peasant?" The nobleman cursed.

"Wow!"

"Great job Yuno".

The children from the church shouted.

Yuno declared loudly. "I will be the Wizard King."

Since Alex had already got his hand on the grimoire beforehand, he didn't receive anything.

When they were returning, Revchi tried to steal Yuno's grimoire but got beaten by him in the end.

Due to Yuno's training since young, Alex didn't need to interfere in the fight.

After they returned, Father Orsi organized a little feast to celebrate the occasion.

For the next six months, Alex trained Nash in magic and taught him little martial arts as the little guy constantly requested it.

Aside from training, he spent most of his time with Lily since he had to leave in a few days. And soon, the day finally arrived.

Both Alex and Yuno were leaving the village to participate in the Magic Knight Entrance Exam in the capital.

At the front of the church.

"It's time for us to go, Father," Alex said with a smile. In these 15 years, he barely called him that, always referring to him as 'Old man'.

Father Orsi became a little emotional, wiping the corner of his eye. "Umm, you both should take care of each other, okay?"

Lily said with a sweet smile. "I hope you both do great "

But that smile of hers was hiding sadness behind it since she didn't want to let him go. She would all be alone after he left.

"Thank you, Lily." Alex smiled and hugged her, whispering. "Don't worry, I'll send you letters. Also, if I have time, I'll definitely swing back here."

"Hehe, you better," She softly whispered.

"Don't worry, big brother Asta. I'll look after everyone in your and big brother Yuno's absence." Nash patted his chest and said.

Alex smiled as he rubbed his head. "Then I'll leave them in your care, you brat."

"Umm... but I *sniff*... I'm going to miss you both. *sniff*" Tears formed in his eyes as the little guy tried to hide them, trying to act tough and cool.

Asta hugged him and said. "Brave boy shouldn't cry like that or I'll be worried."

"No, I'll not cry." Nash wiped his tears quickly and showed a bright smile.

"Hey, leave something for me too." Yuno interrupted.

Alex scratched his face lightly, watching his face written with jealousy.

"Everyone take care," Yuno said to everyone.

Everyone nodded their heads.

After leaving Hage, the duo took a wagon to the capital. There was no need to run like idiots as Alex had enough money for the ride.

It took them a week to reach their destination, the capital of the Clover Kingdom. The duo rented an inn until the event would start in a few days and decided to look around the capital since it was their first time here.

"Wow, this place is so much bigger and different than our village." Yuno couldn't help exclaiming.

Alex found it interesting to see his real personality rather than seeing an indifferent attitude.

"Well, this place is the capital of this kingdom so it's supposed to be like that." Alex looked around but as someone who had already seen many majestic places in his past life, he didn't find it worth mentioning.

The duo walked around and got themselves familiar with the place.

Alex could feel some weird gazes from the passersby, especially women who couldn't help but glance at both of them since both Alex and Yuno were quite handsome.

Alex saw Finral Roulacase of the black bulls flirting with ladies on the street. As someone who knew the real reason behind his actions, Alex couldn't help but feel a little bad for the guy.

He even saw Rebecca Scarlet taking care of her siblings. She was a beauty by this world's standards and a very hard-working girl he couldn't help but feel some respect for.

He bought a few clothes for both himself and Yuno.

The duo enjoyed their time in the capital till the selection exam...

On the day of the entrance examination.

Alex and Yuno joined the line for registration.

"Next!" The person responsible for the registration called out to the next person in the line.

'Status!' While everyone was busy, Alex checked his status.

It took around fifteen minutes for people ahead of them to get registered.

"Next,"

Yuno stepped forward and introduced himself. "Yuno, Hage Village."

"Yuno from Hage, all right... And your grimoire?"

Yuno nodded and showed his grimoire to the person.

"A-A F-Four Leaf Clover?"

Asta could hear whispers after the person's exclamations.

"Oh! Is that him?"

"Hey, is that grimoire...?"

"No way. A Four Leaf Clover?"

"Wow!"

"Right. You're number 164." The person in charge smiled excitedly and said. After Yuno walked to the side, his face turned serious again as he called the next person.

"I'm Asta from Hage." Alex sighed as he knew what was coming for him and put forward his black grimoire. "And this is my grimoire."

"F-F-Five Leaf Clover?!"

The person exclaimed loudly.

"So, they are the duo..."

"Hey, shall we apply for next year?"

"Yeah, you're right."

"Wow, he's such a handsome face. He looks like a royalty.'

"Yeah. It's a surprise that he is a commoner. Do you think he is..."

"*Sshhh* Keep your voice down or..."

"*ahem* Your number is 165." The person calmed down his excitement and said with a big smile.

"Thank you," Alex said before walking inside the Colosseum.
