My Movie Queen

Chapter 3

The Director, who is monitoring the live comments, is delighted by this surprising outcome. Despite anticipating a large viewership due to the participants' fame, the twist of having the most famous and most hated individuals on the same team has ignited a wave of anger among the viewers. However, some are curious about what will unfold and others are eagerly anticipating the entertainment. In terms of survival, the advantage lies with the two teams consisting of both men and women, while the last team comprises two girls who appear to have no experience in survival.

"Alright, now we have Team Red with Sir Celio and Ms. Go, Team White with Ms. Don and Sir Matthew, and lastly, Team Blue with Ms. Rodriguez and Ms. Rivera! No one expected this matching, but I know it only makes everyone excited!" exclaimed Bob enthusiastically.

However, before Bob could continue, Kai raised his hand. Bob noticed and asked Kai what he wanted to say, considering his role as the host and the concerns of the viewers.

"Yes, Sir. Kai?" Everyone fell silent, including the viewers who stopped commenting, waiting for Kai's words. After all, it's natural for some to be dissatisfied with this team arrangement.

Kai said while pushing up his glasses,

"I would like to suggest a team name change. Being called Team Red sounds so plain."

His words left everyone speechless, even Bob, who expected him to complain about the team. Bob quickly composed himself and responded,

" Of course, you can announce your team names later personally. Better yet, only announce it to the viewers and keep it a secret from other teams for the time being to make it exciting."

"As I was saying, now that you all have your teams, you will still be monitored individually. Your goal is to live here and survive until the end of the show. Your belongings will be taken by the program team, including your phones. But don't worry, you will receive extra clothes, a map, and a mobile phone for each team for announcements only. Additionally, all the red marks on the map are checkpoints where you can obtain a bag of supplies. Each time you get a bag, you will earn points, which will be visible inside the bag along with a list of items. These points can be exchanged for any item from the corresponding points. A reminder to everyone: this place has many dangerous creatures, so please be cautious."

"If you have any more questions, please ask. We only have five minutes."

Kai raised his hand again, and Bob smiled and nodded, allowing Kai to speak. Kai looked at everyone, and after a few seconds, he turned directly to Team Blue.

"Is everyone okay with their respective team?" he asked, pointing to Team Blue.

Yanna and Vanessa locked eyes briefly, exchanging nods before Yanna smiled gently at her. Yanna then spoke up

"If Ms. Rodriguez is okay with me, then I'm good."

Vanessa responded, "I'm okay with Ms. Rivera."

Kai nodded, pleased with their agreement, and proceeded to ask the other teams about their preferences as well. Everyone seemed satisfied with their teams, and Kai smiled at the result.

Afterward, Bob and the rest of the group went to the other side of the island, leaving the participants and cameraman behind. The cameramen had advanced cameras following each team and a few tiny robotic cameras that were already positioned.

______

The three teams gathered together at Kai's request. He has taken on a leadership role, and surprisingly, nobody opposes it. With a genuine concern for everyone's safety, Kai addresses the group,

"Thank you all for staying. Before we proceed, does anyone have any questions about survival? For example, how to make a fire?" Kai's tone reflects his deep care for the five individuals, almost as if they were his siblings, and he appears hesitant to let them go without ensuring their knowledge of essential survival skills.

As they glance at one another, it becomes evident that each person may hold differing opinions, particularly Yanna. However, they all manage to set those differences aside and shift their attention to the present moment.

They can genuinely sense Kai's deep concern, which even Vanessa acknowledges. Yanna finds Kai's level of concern somewhat unusual but considers it given his composed yet occasionally emotional demeanor.

"Brother Kai, there's no need to worry about us," Matthew replied, expressing his gratitude for Kai's concern.

"That's right, if we get hungry, we can start gathering some fruits. But what about you, Sir Celio, and Ms. Go? Will you be okay?" Alice inquired.

"We'll be fine with Sir Celio here!" Ruby exclaimed excitedly.

"Yes, It's just that I'm the oldest here and I have experienced living in the mountains before. You're all still young, like my siblings, so I'm a little worried," Kai explained, glancing at Yanna and Vanessa.

"We'll be fine too, Sir Celio. Thank you for your concern," Yanna responded with a smile. She then continued, "Well, no need to worry. I believe everyone has studied survival for this show. If anything happens, we can always reach out to the program team - they're constantly monitoring us. Let's just give it our best effort."

Everyone nodded in agreement with her statement.

"Since it's already getting dark, Let's just stay together as a group for tonight," Kai suggested, concerned about their safety.

Alice agreed, adding, "It's better to stick together, especially in unfamiliar territory. Let's find some fruits to eat for tonight."

With their shared experience and accustomed diet, the four people in the group had no worries about finding suitable fruits. They set off in search of edible options, making sure to gather enough for everyone.

The two screenwriters, understanding the situation, reassured the group,

"It's okay for tonight, we can manage with the fruits. Let's focus on finding a suitable place to spend the night."

Feeling confident in their decision, they continued their search for fruits, eager to satisfy their hunger and ensure a comfortable evening in the wilderness.
