Chapter 15: The Terrifying Secret Technique! An Excited Kakashi and Itachi!!

Deep within the base, the moment the explosion occurred, Ishihara pushed open the door and said to a visibly shocked Jūgo, "We have intruders, but they are not very strong. This time, you will handle them to test your mastery of the secret technique!"

"Yes!" Jūgo responded loudly, not angry but rather extremely excited. He had always wanted to help Ishihara, but Ishihara was too strong and smart, leaving no room for Jūgo to contribute. Now, the opportunity had finally come!

Immediately, Jūgo eagerly charged towards the enemies. Ishihara released his senses to monitor Jūgo's situation and began instructing others to gather documents and scrolls. Regardless of who the enemies were, the exposure of this base meant they had to relocate. It was better to be prepared for any eventuality.

The sound of rapid footsteps echoed from the depths of the base. Kakashi and his team immediately halted, their faces turning serious as they stared ahead with vigilance. 

"Prepare for battle!" All eyes were fixed on the front, hearts racing. They wanted to identify the enemy as soon as possible. If it was Orochimaru, they knew their situation would be dire.

The footsteps grew louder, signaling the enemy's approach.

Gulp! The tension made someone swallow hard. Suddenly, a figure appeared in the distance, rapidly approaching.

"The enemy is not Orochimaru!" Kakashi felt a wave of relief. Having fought Orochimaru before, he recognized the different aura. But who could it be if not Orochimaru? Could it be the mysterious Ishihara? Kakashi's eyes gleamed as he focused on the front.

Yamanaka Hirako quickly identified the approaching figure, "It's not Ishihara, it's Jūgo! Orochimaru's important experiment subject and the source of the cursed seal!"

"Be cautious, he's very strong!" Kakashi's expression grew grim as he sensed the terrifying chakra approaching.

With a swift move, Jūgo appeared before Kakashi and his team, looking like a tall teenager, glaring at them angrily. 

"You bastards attacked our base?!" Kakashi and his team frowned, wondering if he had been brainwashed. Kakashi, feeling the gravity of the situation, coldly replied, "Orochimaru is a rogue ninja from Konoha. We are here to capture him! You need to come with us as well!"

"Don't even think about it!" Jūgo, though appearing like a teenager, still had the mindset of a child. He stepped forward excitedly, "Lord Ishihara ordered me to handle you, so you're dead!"

Someone whispered, "Could Ishihara be using Jūgo as a decoy while he escapes?"

Kakashi and his team members' expressions changed. The Root members, more anxious, shouted, "Stop wasting time, attack!"

They charged forward. 

"You dare attack first?!" Jūgo, enraged, immediately lifted the reverse curse seal, returning to his normal state. The surge of emotion triggered his murderous impulse. 

In an instant, he activated the curse seal!

Boom! Violent chakra erupted from Jūgo, causing his body to transform drastically. He grew taller, his skin turned a dark brown, and his appearance became somewhat monstrous. The terrifying chakra was palpable even without sensing techniques.

"A monster!" 

"This is the curse seal transformation? So strong! It's ridiculous!"

"The amount of chakra he has might rival the Hokage!" Kakashi and his team exchanged serious yet excited glances. The secret technique's power seemed even greater than they had imagined.

Kakashi taunted, "Is this the extent of Ishihara's secret technique? You can't stop us!"

Recognizing Jūgo's deep respect for Ishihara, he purposely provoked him.

Jūgo immediately got angry, "You'll regret this!!"

"Burst Secret Technique!!" Boom! Jūgo's chakra surged even more. Kakashi, horrified, exclaimed, "That secret technique can amplify such a huge amount of chakra?!"

Others were filled with madness. If they could acquire such a technique, their power would skyrocket!

"It's not over yet!" 

"Sage Art: Petrification Technique!" 

"Sage Art: Lightning Instantaneous Body!!" 

Buzz—— Instantly, Jūgo's skin turned even darker as terrifying lightning chakra erupted from his body, coiling around him like silver serpents, carving deep scars into the walls. 

Jūgo, with a ferocious smile, raised his head, "I'll kill you all!!"

Hiss!!! A terrifying sense of danger surged through Kakashi. He shouted, "Dodge!!!" Every hair on his body stood on end as he watched in horror. Besides Itachi and the Root captain, the others hadn't even reacted.

Slash—— A streak of lightning flashed. 

"Ah!!!" A shrill scream followed. Kakashi turned to see several of his comrades nearly cut in half, with half their bodies shattered.

"Damn it! I'll kill him!" Kakashi's heart roared, but he eyed Jūgo with intense caution. Jūgo had moved too fast. He had barely dodged on instinct, seeing only a flash of lightning before the attack completed.

"My Sharingan barely caught a trace; he's too fast!" Kakashi's eyes were fixed on Jūgo, who reminded him of the Fourth Raikage. He took a deep breath and whispered, "Itachi, I need you to coordinate with me!"

"Understood!" 

"His chakra is immense and violent; he may only be controlled briefly," Itachi, catching on, aimed his Sharingan at Jūgo. 

"That's enough!" Kakashi roared inwardly, "First Gate, Gate of Opening, open!!!" Boom! Powerful chakra erupted from him. Sharingan activated! With Chidori in hand, he entered his strongest state. 

All of this happened in mere seconds. Jūgo, surprised, looked at them, "You survived?! Then let's go again!"

At that moment, Itachi shouted, "Attack!!!" Jūgo instinctively turned to him, "Sharingan Genjutsu!" Itachi quickly cast a Genjutsu. Jūgo momentarily dazed. 

"Opportunity!!!" Kakashi dashed forward, appearing before Jūgo in an instant. Chidori pierced forth!

Slash!! Lightning collided. 

"Damn, blocked momentarily!" Kakashi's expression changed, sensing danger. Simultaneously, the Root captain followed up, "Seal Binding Technique!" 

Buzz—— Seals appeared on Jūgo, slightly stalling his chakra. 

Kakashi struck instantly. 

Squelch!
