Chapter 26: The Byakugan Training Method! Mei Terumi Loses Her Cool!

Chapter 26: The Byakugan Training Method! Mei Terumi Loses Her Cool!

Mei Terumi and Orochimaru stared at Ishihara intently, not wanting to miss a single movement. Mei was curious, while Orochimaru was observing closely. Ishihara continuously used chakra to simulate the Byakugan's pathways, attempting to decipher the transformations of its chakra. The laboratory was so silent that even a pin drop could be heard. Neither Mei nor Orochimaru dared to move, fearing they might disturb Ishihara.

After a long while, Ishihara exhaled deeply and stood up. Orochimaru and Mei also relaxed.

"How did it go?" Orochimaru asked eagerly. Once the Byakugan research was complete, they could begin studying the bloodline limits. Previously, he and Ishihara had discussed this research, and their approaches were entirely different, hence his anticipation.

"It's still not enough. I just developed a technique that can see through objects, but it doesn’t reach the level of the Byakugan," Ishihara shook his head, frowning.

Orochimaru was about to console him but was rendered speechless by Ishihara's latter statement.

You…!

Orochimaru grimaced, feeling his spirit crumble. Developing a see-through technique in less than half a day, and still looking dissatisfied, left him feeling utterly mediocre. Could he not be a genius just once?!

Orochimaru fell silent.

"What did you say? You developed a technique that can see through objects?! That’s impossible!" Mei Terumi was flabbergasted, staring at Ishihara.

Are you kidding me?!

Within just a few hours of studying the Byakugan, he created a new technique with see-through capabilities. This was simply a fairy tale!

"What does this have to do with you?" Ishihara frowned at her. This woman was getting annoying.

"I..." Mei Terumi's face turned red with anger, cursing internally.

"I'm beautiful, fair-skinned, and with a stunning figure, yet you dislike me? Jerk, idiot, blind fool…"

Ishihara stared at her, "Are you cursing me in your mind?"

Mei's expression changed, and she quickly smiled, "How could that be? You’re so handsome. I like you so much I can't find the words!"

Ishihara rolled his eyes.

I just want to study your body, and you're eyeing mine. Hah, women!

Hey, hey, hey, don't think I can’t see through your thoughts.

Mei Terumi gritted her teeth in frustration.

"I swear, I’ll never talk to you again!"

However, upon reflection, Mei found it hard to believe. Based on their conversation and Orochimaru’s attitude, it was clear that Ishihara really did develop a powerful technique in just a few hours. This talent was terrifying, beyond her comprehension. She realized that witnessing such talent must be utterly demoralizing for anyone else.

For a moment, she looked at Orochimaru with a hint of pity. The legendary Sannin, Orochimaru, constantly overshadowed by Ishihara’s genius, must feel miserable.

Ignoring the two, Ishihara continued pondering his Byakugan research. He recalled his previous study of the Sharingan, and his eyes lit up.

"Perhaps my approach was wrong. The key to developing the Byakugan training method isn’t in the Byakugan itself, but in aligning its capabilities!"

"I couldn't do it before, but I can now!"

[Transparent World: Stimulate the eyes with chakra, linking it with other senses, making everything in the visual field transparent. The blood, muscles, and other details of living beings become visible!]

Ishihara, invigorated, immediately activated the Transparent World. Instantly, he felt a change in his senses, as if they had been upgraded. Everything around him began to become transparent. The farther the distance, the blurrier the transparency, with the clearest range being about tens of meters, influenced by the limits of his five senses.

"This woman’s body is quite something!" Ishihara glanced at Mei Terumi’s body, then looked away, focusing seriously on his research. Mei Terumi felt as though someone had peeked at her.

Ishihara now closed his eyes, sometimes observing through the Transparent World, and other times with the Byakugan’s vision. He repeatedly analyzed the Byakugan’s chakra flow and its unique chakra, recalling the contents of the Sharingan training method. His mind was filled with numerous ideas, constantly colliding and creating new sparks.

Mei Terumi and Orochimaru watched him intently, more expectant and nervous than Ishihara himself.

[You observed the Byakugan’s chakra pathways and analyzed part of its essence. Combining this with the Transparent World, you have created the Byakugan training method.]

[Byakugan Training Method: Transparency Edition: This method enables the Byakugan with only the transparency function and partial powers of its other abilities!]

Phew...

Ishihara exhaled deeply, smiling broadly.

Orochimaru eagerly asked, "Did you succeed?"

Mei Terumi also tensed up.

Ishihara nodded and then shook his head, saying, "The Byakugan isn’t fully developed, but it’s enough for our research!"

Orochimaru frowned, "I remember the Sharingan last time was also… incomplete."

Ishihara nodded, explaining, "The Sharingan and Byakugan appear to be just dōjutsu, but in reality, their unique traits are merely the external manifestation of something special within their bodies."

"To create a complete Sharingan or Byakugan training method, we need a deeper understanding of their bodies!"

Mei Terumi, who was listening, was utterly bewildered.

A complete training method for the Sharingan and Byakugan?!

Can such things be trained?

But looking at Orochimaru and Ishihara, they didn’t seem like madmen!

"It seems a trip to Konoha is necessary," Orochimaru said with a curious expression, looking forward to it.

Ishihara nodded. Going to Konoha was inevitable, but there was no rush. For now, Kirigakure could meet his needs.

With this in mind, Ishihara turned to look at Mei Terumi.

Isn’t there a ready-made bloodline limit ninja right here?
