Chapter 14: Fierce Battle! God-Level Manipulated Shuriken, Dragon Fire Prison!

Amidst the ruins, the battlefield was split in two. A circular barrier reaching the heavens trapped Uchiha Ci firmly within it.

"Tch, one of them got away," Moroi's icy gaze fell upon Uchiha Ci, and a twisted, cruel smile appeared on his lips. "But it doesn't matter. I'll make sure you die quickly."

Uchiha Ci's eyes slightly narrowed as he observed the ninja standing across from him, clad in a red cloak with yellow hair and a thick beard. This person had appeared in the original story.

During the Fourth Great Ninja War, this man had set up 36-layer Self-Regenerating Barrier on Turtle Island, preventing Naruto and Killer Bee from reaching the battlefield. The barriers were terrifyingly strong, and it took the combined efforts of Naruto and Killer Bee to break them. He was the leader of the Barrier Team of Kumogakure at the time, a ninja proficient in powerful sealing techniques. However, that was then, and this is now; the opponent now was merely a Special Jōnin.

Looking at his opponent, Uchiha Ci felt uneasy. Could a ninja who specialized in sealing techniques really be that dangerous? But regardless, the opponent was still a Special Jōnin, whose taijutsu alone could easily overpower him. Seijiro had also mentioned that this person was skilled in kenjutsu.

The strike came with the force of a gust of wind, the blade's edge sharp enough to sever even the finest hair.

The imminent death crisis made Uchiha Ci's scalp tingle, and the hairs on his neck stood on end. Just as the sword was about to connect—

Uchiha Ci suddenly felt a surge of electricity course through his body, overcoming his fear and allowing him to regain control. He ducked and twisted his head, narrowly avoiding the blade's edge. His fingers instinctively reached for his ninja tool pouch.

Three shadows flew upward, forcing Moroi to urgently pull back his sword to parry them.

As Moroi deflected the three kunai, Uchiha Ci had already widened the distance between them. Estimating the distance between them, Uchiha Ci felt a sudden unease and looked at Moroi with frustration, wanting to curse.

"What the hell is this?!" Moroi was shocked, his face filled with fear as he looked at Uchiha Ci. "How is this possible?! So many ninja wires, woven into such a structure! How did this brat manage it in such a short time?"

Uchiha Ci shook his head. A Special Jōnin losing to a Genin—no wonder people say the shinobi of Kumogakure are barbarians. Clearly, they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

Uchiha Ci's once eager gaze had now turned cold and indifferent. "Pay for your arrogance."

With that, Uchiha Ci slowly formed four hand seals: Snake, Dragon, Hare, and Tiger!

"Fire Release - Dragon Fire Technique!"

He took a deep breath, looking at the helpless Moroi trapped in the web, and with a flick of his finger, the Dragon Fire erupted!

Raging flames surged along the wires, engulfing Moroi, who was now filled with terror.

But Uchiha Ci wasn't done yet. Committed to ensuring his victory, he formed more hand seals:

The shuriken spun through the air, cutting through the wind, accompanied by a high-pitched, phoenix-like screech.

Finally, Uchiha Ci pulled the wires once more! The web of ninja wires tightened with a grinding noise, closing in on Moroi's position for the kill!
