The rate at which the Blood Essence from the Blood Pond was disappearing was minimal; however, Maximus could tell that it was decreasing.

'What is happening? The Blood Essence in the Blood Pond should be increasing; instead, it is decreasing.'

Maximus frowned as he looked at smiling Ajax in the distance and thought, 'Is it because of the Blood Elemental Spirit?'

It was the only possibility that Maximus could think of.

'No…how is it possible? How could a mere Elemental Spirit Emperor withstand the Blood Essence in the Blood Pool even when I, with the title of Master of Blood, haven't dared to step into the Blood Pond.'

Other than the Veiled Vampired Emperor, Maximus has another title because of his affinity with the Blood Element.

However, his Ancestor has strictly ordered him not to enter the Blood Pond because the Blood Essence inside it is very pure.

'According to Progenitor, my body will explode even if I sit beside the activated Blood Pond to cultivate; however, that Blood Elemental Spirit entered the Blood Pond.'

Sensing Maximus' thoughts, Moore reminded him about the Elemental Spirits and asked him not to think too much about it.

"I think we should increase the Blood Essence in the Blood Pond."

At the same time, Moore suggested that they increase the Blood Essence in the Blood Pond as he continued, "Once all the Emperor Grade Vampires jump into the Blood Pond, even if it was an Ascended Cultivator, he could not withstand the Blood Essence in the Blood Pond let alone an Elemental Spirit."

According to their initial plan, once the Blood Essence in the Blood Pond reached a specific level, the Blood Tentacle produced by the Blood Pond would easily kill Ajax.

Because of that, the Blood Essence in the Blood Pond was gradually decreasing, and if it continued, the Blood Pond couldn't produce a new Blood Tentacle.

Thus, Moore suggested that the Emperor Realm Vampire Servants should be sacrificed now.

Hearing Moore's words, Maximus came out of his thoughts and gritted his teeth in silence.

Even though he sacrificed all his King Realm Vampire Servants with a calm look, Maximus's heart was bleeding; however, he believed it was a price he had to pay to become the Ruler of the Floating Island.

But, now, he needed to sacrifice his Emperor Realm Vampire Servants.

"Moore, I don't think I can give the order."

Maximus might be cold-hearted and doesn't care much about his low-level servants; however, he cares about his high-level servants who have stayed with him for centuries.

If he had to sacrifice them to become the Sole Ruler of the Floating Island, then Maximus felt he wouldn't need such Sole Rulership.

"I will accept defeat and surrender to him."

The mighty Maximus of the Water Region said something that he never imagined to say.

Even though Ajax and his army were quite far from Maximus and Moore, they were powerful beings in the Earth Realm with powerful senses.

So, they could hear the conversation between Maximus and Moore who were not using the voice transmission and were normally speaking.

Hearing Maximus' words, Ajax and his army were shocked.

Especially the two newly contracted spirit beasts…they knew more about Maximus, making them think that they were hearing things now.

'If he surrenders, it would be much easier for me.'

Coming out of his shock, Ajax was happy to hear Maximus saying those words and even ready to accept Maximus despite knowing he would backstab him someday.

It was because Ajax thought he could use Maximus to get the things he needed from the Heavenly Bestial Realm.

With those things, Ajax could become even more powerful and even if Maximus plans to backstab him, Ajax could easily take care of him at the time.

However, things were not as easy as he thought they would be.

"Mas…Maximus, what are you doing? Give the order."

Moore slapped Maximus's head as he said in a serious tone, "As the direct descendent of the Progenitor, how can you have such thoughts."

'What?'

Ajax frowned when he saw the Vampire Servant hit Maximus's head and frowned.

Nevertheless, he didn't move from his place and kept an eye on the system notifications and the other one on Maximus to see what he would do next.

'I hope that he will surrender.'

Ajax was sincerely hoping Maximus to become his contracted spirit beast.

"Moore…but I don't want everyone to sacrifice just for the sake of me becoming the Ruler of the Floating Island."

Maximus was not angered at Moore's actions; instead, he explained why he came to that conclusion.

"Maximus, if you fail to become the Ruler of the Floating Island today, go back to the Progenitor and cultivate properly and don't forget to avenge me when you become powerful."

Moore could already guess what was going on in Maximus' head as he said a few words to Maximus before shouting, "Everyone, sacrifice."

As soon as he said those words, Moore and the remaining Emperor Realm Vampire Servants jumped into the Blood Pond.

"Maximus, a direct descendant of a Progenitor Vampire never bows to anyone."

From the Blood Pond, these words resounded as a beam of red-coloured light entered Maximus's heart.

At the same time, the blood in the Blood Pond started boiling crazily and showed signs of a Blood Tentacle.

Ajax didn't know what would happen now after the Emperor Realm Vampire Servants sacrificed themselves, he was ready for anything that was about to come.
