On Top of the Food Chain

Hello everyone, just wanted to take a moment to chat about a few things.

Hiatus: I’ll be stepping away for a short break, about 3-4 weeks. Life's been throwing a lot my way—exams, parental pressure, and that borderline dance with burnout we all know too well. Honestly, I feel like I’m gonna break, and may do something foolish, but somehow this passion project has been holding me together. During this break, I’m hoping to get a few things sorted: put my personal life in order, create an actual productive schedule (because let’s be honest, winging it hasn't been working), edit the 45 chapters I’ve already released, and plan out the next part of the story.

The Story: Let's talk about where On Top of the Food Chain is heading. It’s going to be divided into three parts. Part 1, [Sweet Bloodlust] was our introduction. Part 2 will be longer, featuring three different arcs, and then Part 3 will wrap things up with two arcs—one of them being the grand climax.

Once this story wraps, I’ll be diving into a revenge tale about a retired strongman whose family is killed, sending him on a rampage. It's set in the same world as Food Chain, because why not build a whole universe while we’re at it? After that, there’s another novel lined up, and then eventually, I’ll get to ShadowFall, also set in this world (big surprise, I know). They’ll all tie together into one big, juicy plotline.
