Chapter 384: CP9 Round 2

Ben looked down to see the drawbridge had been extended.

“We are coming,” Ben stated.

“We are going to take her,” Spandam said as he pulled Robin inside.

“Robin has been handcuffed with sea prism cuffs. We need to get the key for it,” Ben explained. He looked at CP9 agents.

“My love, do one of them have it?” she asked.

“I think so,” Ben replied. “I think it would be Kaku who has it,” Ben added. “However, we should get all the keys just in case,” Ben continued. He was not going leave this to chance. It still made sense that Kaku would have since he is the second strongest after Lucci. However with the vice admirals things can change.

“Okay my love,” Alvida stated looking at Kaku.

“What are you talking about?” Wanze said with a grin. He casually swung his massive sword over his shoulder.

“You're surrounded!” Jerry chimed in, his stance low and ready, fists clenched in his boxing gloves.

“Surrender now, you criminals,” T-Bone commanded. He held his sword steady.

Maya locked onto Jerry and darted forward towards him. She swung her sword, Eros Edge, in a powerful arc aimed directly at him. Jerry reacted quickly, leaping backwards, narrowly avoiding the lethal strike. The blade crashed into the rooftop, sending cracks splintering out from the impact.

At the same moment, Saphir lunged at T-Bone, her spear gleaming as it clashed with his sword. Sparks flew as their weapons collided. The force of the clash sent both of them skidding back, neither willing to give an inch.

Meanwhile, Honey looked at Wanze, who was still grinning like a fool. “Liquid Air Blast!” she shouted, raising her hand. A torrent of purple liquid shot from her palm, swirling towards Wanze. The chef barely had time to react, bringing up his large sword just in time to block the attack. The force of the blast pushed him back, his heels skidding against the edge of the roof.

“We’ve got these three,” Honey said.

“Go ahead, we need to move fast,” Saphir urged, never taking her eyes off T-Bone.

“Yes, hurry,” Maya added.

“Okay, be careful and try to join with Luffy and them,” Ben said. The three of them nodded.

They all jumped down. Nojiko saw it could be a rough landing. She raised her hands. “Cloud Surge!” she called out. Wisps of cloud began to form from her fingertips, swirling and expanding rapidly into a thick, cushioned blanket. The cloud formation grew, stretching downwards toward the ground like a soft, billowing ramp.

They saw clouds forming below. Ben smiled. He knew there were options but this worked out as well. The cloud beneath them cushioned their fall. It was like landing on a soft, springy mattress. Ben thought of the clouds in Skypiea.

They slid off the clouds and touched the ground.

Vivi turned to Nojiko with a grateful smile. “Thanks, Nojiko,” she said.

Nojiko nodded, a slight smile on her lips. “We’ve got a lot ahead of us, no time to waste,” she replied.

“The clouds were fun,” Marianne said. “We should do this more with Robin,” she added.

Ben smiled. “Let's move,” Ben said. They all nodded and rushed into the building. They saw a grand hallway. “This place is a maze, with lots of secret rooms and passages. Everyone makes sure to have Den Den Mushis on,” he said.

“Yes my love and use it in case you get lost or need help,” Alvida said.

“Stop, you Pirates!” Sharinguru bellowed, charging towards them with his sword raised. Conis, flame on the back flared out and she dashed towards him. Without hesitation, she raised her Heat Javelin, the tip glowing with intense energy. Their weapons met, sparks flying from the impact.

“I’ve got him! Go on ahead!” Conis shouted back to the others.

Sharinguru’s eyes narrowed as he took in her appearance. “You must be new,” he said. He thought she had wings and a flame on her back.

Ben nodded. They needed to move quickly. “Everyone, split up!” Ben commanded. He launched himself into the air. He saw a corridor with stairs going up left and right. He saw a door and went for it. He flew up until he reached an open room. In front of him was Rob Lucci. Their eyes locked onto each other.

Ben flew down. “So you are Demon King Ben,” Lucci remarked.
“You must be Rob Lucci, the strongest member of CP9, who ate the Leopard Leopard Fruit,” Ben replied.

“We took our crew mate, your lover away, you must be angry,” Lucci said.

“Angry, more like livid,” Ben said. “You hurt her, I will hurt you,” Ben stated.

“I did not lay a finger on her but I will lay my finger on you,” Lucci said.

Kaya flew off in a different direction. She flew around when all of a sudden the air opened up like a door. She flew around it. The door closed and another one opened up as she landed on the ground. She saw Blueno walk out. “I must say you are smarter than I thought, using a jammer like this,” Blueno remarked.

“You must have a key,” Kaya replied.

“So you know about the cuffs to your friend as well,” Blueno responded.

“Give me the key,” Kaya stated, her voice sounding more ferocious. Blueno thought he had never seen this devil fruit before.

Nojiko ran up the stairs. She heard the sounds of water dripping from a room. She entered the room and saw a bathtub with a nude woman. Nojiko saw it was Kalifa casually sitting in the bathtub. “So you have some,” Kalifa said.

Vivi ran down the stairs and stopped Jabra, his wolfish grin already spreading across his face as he eyed her. “What do we have here?” he taunted. “A little girl who is lost,” he added.

Vivi looked at him. “I am going to take that key for my King, for Robin,” Vivi responded, her eyes glowing red. There were black flames emitting from her body.

Mikita ran down a narrow corridor. She thought this place was a maze. “Yoyoi stop there,” Kumadori shouted.

Mikita saw a man with flowing pink hair. He had white face paint. “I was looking for one of you,” Mikita replied.

“I shall stop you,” Kumadori said.

Zala walked down into the kitchen. She looked around and saw someone standing there. He opened the zip on his mouth. “You must be after the key for the handcuffs,” Fukurou said.

“Yes, can I have it?” Zala asked.

“No and my key will not work,” Fukurou replied.

“Well, we had a gut feeling about that but I am still taking that key,” Zala stated.

Raki on the other hand was walking down another floor. She thought this building was massive. “Stop there you pirate,” Yukimura shouted.

Raki looked back to see a Marine pulling his sword out.

Yukimura saw she had wings on her back. “You are a Skypeian,” Yukimura remarked.

“I am a Shandorian,” Raki corrected.

“You are rare, why are you part of them?” Yukimura asked.

Raki smiled. “Our Captain is interesting,” Raki replied.

Marianne was on the bottom level. There were cells here. “Who are you?” Barricade shouted. Behind him were two Blue Gorillas.

“I am here to save my friend Robin,” Marianne responded.

“You are a pirate, capture her,” Barricade ordered.

Alvida walked up to a library. She cracked her knuckles, as she spotted Kaku. She twirled her massive mace, Seraphina, with ease. "You have a key I need," Alvida said. Kaku dropped his book and smiled.

“I hope you are better than that swordsman,” Kaku said.
