One Piece: Grand Harem Adventures

Chapter 424: The Kiss

Ben gritted his teeth as he felt his body shift, muscles rippling under his skin as he transformed into his hybrid form. He felt his stamina was low. The new form took a lot out of him. He thought that form was missing something. It did not feel complete at the same time, there was much more to the form. His beast form, he finally got it. He almost died but he got it. He thought when he began his journey, he was fighting wild animals and almost died there. He remembered he said something about being a hero, about being the chosen one. He thought that was funny and arrogant. Before he had a sister and mom in his past life. He thought they would be fine without him. People heal. He looked around and saw the Bridge. He had his life here. .

His breathing came in ragged gasps, sweat dripping from his face. Every inch of him ached, and his vision blurred momentarily. He had to keep going.

“Come on... just a little more,” he muttered to himself, his wings twitching as they unfurled behind him.

He launched into the air, but immediately felt his wings falter, flapping unevenly. They weren’t responding like they should. He swerved and dipped, barely keeping himself aloft. He struggled to regain control. His body was screaming for rest, but there was no time for that. He had to find them.

He pushed through the exhaustion. The air whipped against his face as he strained to fly straight. He flew over and saw the bodies littered everywhere. The Marines and Cipher Agents were on the ground, groaning in pain. Some people were unconscious while others were moving but bleeding badly. He thought it was his crew. He felt proud of them. They were strong girls.

He flew a bit more and finally spotted them. He felt a sense of relief at the sight of them, safe and gathered together. He could see injuries, blood and exhaustion. They had fought hard.

Kaya, Alvida, Mikita, Honey, Nojiko, Vivi, Marianne, Zala, Saphir, Conis, Raki, Maya and Robin. He saw a pink haired girl as well. “Bonney,” he muttered. He thought why she was here. He could ask that later. He also saw Kalifa unconscious.

He looked at Robin who stood at the center, free. He saw her hands were free. Alvida did it. He knew she would win. Robin had a rare, genuine smile. Her eyes filled with happiness.

Ben’s heart swelled at the sight of her. He wobbled in the air, his wings flapping erratically.

Kaya spotted a flying object. She looked closely. “Ben,” Kaya yelled. She noticed him flying erratically.

Maya looked up. “He looks tired,” she remarked.

Zala squinted. “Exhausted,” she added.
“No wonder he did fight their strongest, Rob Lucci,” Mikita added.

Robin smiled. He came for her, they all did. “Ben,” she murmured.

Ben finally managed to land, though not as gracefully as he intended. His feet hit the ground harder than expected, and he stumbled, barely catching himself before falling to his knees. His wings twitched behind him. He transformed back into his human form.

“You’re hurt,” Vivi commented. It made her angry. Her eyes flashed red. Ben thought she looked cute when she was angry.

Robin looked at Ben. The moment their eyes met, it felt as though time had slowed down. All the other girls exchanged glances. They knew what was going to happen. They silently parted, making a path for her.

Ben, struggling to stay upright. He saw Robin walking towards him. His breath caught in his throat as he noticed the bruises on her arms and the faint trickle of dried blood on her forehead. His heart sank. She had been hurt. He was supposed to protect her, and now, seeing her like this, a wave of guilt crashed over him. He thought he had failed her.

“I promised to keep her safe,” he thought, clenching his fists.

Robin’s footsteps echoed. Her heels clicked steadily against the ground as she moved closer. She walked gracefully despite her injuries, her posture straight and strong. Robin saw he was a bit nervous. She smiled.

She stopped just in front of him. Ben met her eyes, unsure of what to say. His body ached but none of it mattered in that moment. All that mattered was Robin.

Robin tilted her head slightly. A faint smile played at her lips, and she shook her head softly.

“You don’t really listen, do you?” Robin remarked, her voice gentle yet teasing.

Ben opened his mouth to speak, but words failed him. "Robin, I am" he began, but the words caught in his throat.

Before he could finish, Robin moved towards him, surprising him. She leaned in, her face inches from his, her breath warm against his skin. Without a word, she closed the gap and pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss.

Ben’s eyes widened in shock. He was not expecting this but her lips were warm and soft. It felt amazing. He kissed back with full passion. His lips locked. Robin felt her heart melted. She waited for this kiss, she denied it to herself, thinking she was not worth it. She was wrong. She loved him, with the bottom of her heart. Robin kissed back. They seem to have forgotten they were still in the middle of a battlefield.

Bonney looked and thought really. She kissed her teeth. The other girls were happy.

Franky looked behind and saw something coming.

Ben hugged her and kissed her mouth. He thought this was amazing. He finally kissed Nico Robin. A beauty on his. He could feel her heart pouring out. He needed to control himself. He needed to escape. Ben pulled back. He saw Robin`s smile. He thought it was beautiful.

Robin moved her hand and touched his cheek. “I told you not to come but I am glad you did,” she said.

The other girls watched some smiling knowingly, while others exchanged glances of embarrassment and admiration. Alvida crossed her arms and grinned, muttering something under her breath about how she "saw it coming." She knew her love would do something. Robin now has officially joined them.

“I love you,” Ben stated.

“I love you too,” Robin replied. She turned around. “All of you my sisters,” she added. They all smiled and nodded.

“Me too,” Marianne shouted back.

They all giggled. Ben took a step forward. “Thank you all, I could not have done this without you all,” Ben stated.

“We can talk about this later,” Mikita added.

“Marines must be coming,” Raki remarked.

Ben looked at Spandam on the ground. He was beaten bloody, burnt, slashed, and shocked. He thought scum. He could see him breathing. “Robin, do you want to kill him?” she asked.

Robin thought he was the man who caused her trouble, his father destroyed her home, he blackmailed her, beat her, put her crew, sisters, all in danger, got them hurt, caused them pain. He was evil. He deserved to die but she thought as she looked at Vivi and smiled. “The princess is right, letting him live knowing he failed, will be the ultimate punishment,” Robin stated. She walked towards him and swung her leg and his crotch with speed and power. There was a sound of cracking.

Spandam spat blood out as he knocked out from the pain. Robin gave a devilish smile.

Franky looked and thought she was dangerous. Ben felt that. That must have hurt. Robin smiled and said, “I will never do that to you, everyone will be upset about it including me,” she teased and winked. Ben was not sure but nodded back.

Bonney thought Spandam deserved it. She smiled at Robin.

“Where is the Buster Call Den Den Mushi?” Ben asked.

“Here,” Franky replied as he threw it at Ben. Ben caught it.
