Only Realized It’s a Life Simulation After My Entire Family Was Executed

Chapter 25

As the last rays of sunlight fell to the west, the sky darkened, and night enveloped the land. The moonlight was cold, casting a silver veil over the earth. In the dimly lit room, Lin Xianyu opened her eyes, quietly got out of bed, walked to the door, and listened quietly for a while. “It seems that Brother and Sister Ji must be fast asleep…” she thought to herself.

She walked to the side of the bed, extended her finger, and tapped the bed board three times. After a brief silence, there was a slight sound coming from under the bed. A fair hand slowly reached out, followed by a slender figure with disheveled hair crawling out. “Xiao Yu, thank you,” the woman said as moonlight streamed into the room, illuminating her pale face. Though lacking in color, her beauty was unmistakable.

“Thank you, Sister,” Lin Xianyu carefully helped her up, sitting her at the table. “I suppose Sister must be hungry, please eat.”

“Okay,” the woman, who seemed to be seriously injured, responded, with some blood stains on her white dress.

Gratefully smiling at Lin Xianyu, she tore off a chicken leg and began to eat hungrily. A strange sound, followed by Lin Xianyu saying, “Let’s eat together,” softly reminding her that as a young girl in a period of growth, she should not starve herself.

After a moment of hesitation and a smile exchanged, they started to eat together. Before falling into unconsciousness, Ji Dongge vaguely saw a young girl rushing towards her. Upon waking up, she found herself lying in bed with her wounds treated, with Lin Xianyu sitting beside her. After a simple exchange of words, Ji Dongge learned that the girl’s name was Lin Xianyu, an orphan who depended on her only brother since their parents passed away.

“Do you want to practice martial arts?” Ji Dongge suddenly asked.

“Practice martial arts?”

Lin Xianyu, finishing her food carefully, raised her sparkling eyes and responded, “Yes. If I learn martial arts, I can protect myself and relieve Brother’s worries. I heard that martial arts schools are expensive, and Brother can’t afford it… Oh, can you teach me, Sister?”

“He doesn’t want to… Oh, big sister, can you teach me?”

She showed an eager expression.

“Of course.”

Ji Dongge did not expose the little girl’s thoughts, and said with a smile:

“But you need to promise, the martial arts I teach you must not be told to anyone… including your closest brother.”

“Okay!”

Lin Xianyu nodded without hesitation.

“You agreed so quickly, it seems you are not sincere.”

Ji Dongge looked at her with a smile that wasn’t a smile and then his tone became slightly serious, “Xiao Yu, I am not exaggerating. If you tell your brother or teach him, it will only bring danger to him!”

At these words, Lin Xianyu was briefly surprised.

Thinking of the appearance of this mysterious sister when she first appeared.

Her heart suddenly tightened, and she earnestly nodded, “Sister, rest assured, I will remember!”

“Okay, come here, let me touch your bones first.”

Ji Dongge said.

Lin Xianyu obediently stood up and walked to her side.

She then felt a pair of cold little hands gently wandering on her body, a bit itchy, which made her small face slightly red.

“Hmm?”

A hint of surprise appeared in Ji Dongge’s black and white eyes.

The martial talent of this little girl was unexpectedly excellent, although it wasn’t accurate just by feeling the bones, it was still pretty close.

“Is it fate?” Ji Dongge looked puzzled in his eyes.

It was just an ordinary little girl from a common household he accidentally encountered, yet she could meet such a rare talent. Even in her sect, she could be considered an outstanding individual.

“Sister, is my talent really poor?” Lin Xianyu nervously asked.

Although she had never been exposed to martial arts, she still had some understanding of it, as her deceased father was also a warrior, albeit of low cultivation.

“Your talent…”

Ji Dongge was silent for a moment and was about to speak when his eyelids twitched suddenly, quickly closing his mouth.

Almost simultaneously.

A clear voice came from outside: “Xiao Yu, not asleep yet?”

A tall figure appeared on the door.

“No, not yet.”

Lin Xianyu was startled, quickly glanced at Ji Dongge, then calmed down quickly and said, “I’m a bit hungry, so I’ll get something to eat… Brother, is there something you need?”

“Oh, nothing, just a midnight call of nature. Heard some noise coming from your room, so I came to check.”

Lin Yuan’s calm voice came from outside.

“I’m fine, I’ll sleep after eating.”

Lin Xianyu’s heart was beating fast, afraid of being discovered by her brother hiding someone in her room.

It wasn’t about worrying about her brother harming Ji Dongge but rather that this white-robed sister was obviously a highly skilled martial artist. What if she hurt her brother if forced?

“Brother, you can go to bed first.”

“Okay.”

The footsteps gradually moved away.

Lin Xianyu breathed a sigh of relief, and Ji Dongge by her side also let out a breath, smiling softly, “Your brother seems quite…”

“Should I warm up some food for you?” Suddenly, Lin Yuan’s gentle voice resounded again.

Her heart clenched.

Ji Dongge stiffly turned her head.

Just now, that tall figure illuminated by the moonlight appeared at the window, standing silently there without moving.
