Chapter 38: Compensation
What a turn of events, my left arm got torn to shreds I almost died and lastly, I met a figure that resembles my old friend. You're probably wondering what happened after that, well I'm wiping my tears and I realize, god damn I look so ugly when I cry. Apart from our fateful reunion, we got the Gm's involved
"Jin is that you?" He said whilst he shed some of his tears
"What you can't even remember someone after bringing them to a hospital?" When he sees his banged-up state, he quickly reaches for his bag and grabbed his severed arm
"Need a hand or an arm?" He jokes while he pulled out a canister filled with a mysterious ooze. A strange creature emerges and reveals itself as Jin's familiar which applied the liquid to his arm. And it quickly glued his body back together even though his sensation wasn't back to its original state
[Is this perhaps the one you always mumble when youre sleeping?]
"I thought you weren't here, you should've told me that you were here this is a dangerous world," Before he could do anything stupid he was stopped by Jins familiar from doing anything rash. Once it was sure of disengaging any kind of resistance it enters its final procedure and connects its severed arm back to its body

Before they could proceed with their reunion after a long time had passed, an aimed directly toward Morris. But his friend's quick response manages to avoid any kind of casualties. Jin the attack with his hammer before it got pushed back by sheer force and he could only do was release his grip from his hammer. But even though he wasn't able to fully parties the attack, he manages to redirect its flow to an area close far from their vicinity
"Another one? Why isn't this a little bit unfair, surely you wouldn't be mad if I call my creations?" Seper howled until his echo reaches the surface where it alerts every homunculus and they dive into the hole and claw their way in
[Jin, isn't this a good chance to use our brand-new creation? We can test it out, and even though you're on bad terms with this man his the perfect fit don't you think? Just give him a past for now, or do you think you could escape on your own?]
"Great idea it's time, to earn a little bit of Exp after getting holed up in a cave for a long time," He said whilst he stretches out his hand and took out a black sword from his bag

"Take this, will talk later... I need you to live before I beat the hell out of you," Jin tosses the sword in his direction and goes off to retrieve his hammer

When he gets back on his feet, he grabs the sword and he was stunned in awe at the effects and power of this weapon

If this stacks they'll lose their ability to hear, smell, and lastly feel pain. This effect will last for 15 seconds and every successful triggering will increase the duration by 5 seconds. This passive will enter its cooldown phase which will last about 1 minute before its next use

"Never thought that I would see you here, nice to see you Jin," Morris replied to his friend and he sees a smile on his face before they rushed to the homunculus

"1st tier magic combination Haste + Mana circulation dual flow," He rushed to Seper's side and stabbed him in the arm before a spark appeared in his hands
It traveled through the hilt until it reaches the tip of the sword. What came after was a direct hit of shock and Seper who was paralyzed with not a hint of any kind of movement. Before this debuff would lose its effect, he took the initiative and attacks his vitals one after another. This sequence came to an end when he scores a critical injury and lowers Seper of his strength as he bleeds
"Item bag release," Jin opens up his bag and drops a ton of metal into the homunculus

The metal was shaped into a cuff that latched onto the homunculus's legs or a spike that pierced through their body. No matter what form they change to they met their end at Jin's enormous hammer that crushes their bodies before they could resort to regenerating. They tried any means of ending his life but their convictions left them to be flattened kn the presence of his hammer

"What are you looking for im right here Seper!!!" One of his copies punched his face whilst the other ones used their bodies as a means to chain him down. The original version focused on gathering a ton of mana through his sword and releasing a powerful attack
His lack of vision and the countless copies that shared his energy frequency made it harder for him to discern his location. But there is one thing he couldn't come to agree with. At this time he felt a shiver going down his spine and a feeling he thought he'd no longer meet
It was fear, all of his attacks were now countered with just a single unpredictable variant that came in the last second. But thats not all, even though his blind he wasn't an amateur who can't feel the pressure of mana flowing from a single spot
He was warned about the possibility of the battle being drawn out and he thought it was nothing but a fluke. But now he was certain, this player whom he fought was vigorous and relentless, to say the least. And now his paying for underestimating him in the most painful way to ever occur
"Mystic slash, third form resentful thrust!!!" He pierces Seper's chest while a ton of mana burst from his sword and flows all over his target's body. It released a brilliant explosion and he was sure of it that his enemy was no longer able to fight. Surprisingly his body hasn't fallen even after his match against such an unfair adversary. Because he hasn't heard of the system calls, he walks closer with a sword in his hand to finish what he started
"Looks like it's finally over~ Aagh!!!" Before he could even turn his head he got hit by a lamp that was held by Jin
"Now we're even!!! You're lucky that I haven't earned that many tokens, I was planning to hit you with a platinum lamp! Get up we need to clean this mess before the Gm arrives... Oh the irony of what I just said, don't tell me you're here to intervene? That guy tried to kill us and now you're here to make a fool out of us?" Before the two of them could even get close to the Seper that collapsed at the end of their fight. The Game master Kishar arrives and uses his power to restrain the two of their movements
"I'm sorry for my insignificance even though the two of you are backed by a powerful deity I can't let you do as you, please. But I'll give you compensation for this mess, I hope you'll find this reward to be worth the price. If you don't have any questions I'll take my leave," Kishar disappeared from their sigh when he used his authority to teleport Seper in harm's way and a message confirmed his actions

"Sigh, hey Jin wanna grab a beer," He said while he reached for a scroll within his bag after he heard the voice of his familiar
"Sure... But your paying, and give me that sword," Jin said while he reached for his sword and he only sees his hand being slapped away
"No, take backs you gave me this fair and square im not gonna pay for it,"
"You motherfucking asshole!!! Give it back!" After their little scuffle, they'd got wasted for an hour or so
