Reborn with Steve Stand

Chapter 683: Feel the Pain

According to Fang Mo's memory, Jason was quite unlucky.

If I remember correctly, shortly after Jason awakened his mutant abilities, he was forcibly sent to the X Academy by Stryker.

This is akin to parents not communicating with their child regularly. When they finally realize the child is disobedient, they don't reflect on their own mistakes. Instead, to preserve their pathetic dignity as elders, they unhesitatingly use all their savings, pinning all their hopes on some foolish electromagnetic coil, hoping to reduce their rising blood pressure by increasing the voltage.

Perhaps what they wanted was never the child, but rather a new recruit like Yuri.

Of course, it should be noted that Professor X is certainly not a fraud. However, the way Jason's parents sent him to the X Academy made him feel betrayed and angry. Stryker was never a good person and likely didn't take good care of him, causing Jason's psyche to gradually become twisted. His powers grew stronger and stronger, to the point where even Professor X felt helpless and suggested his parents look elsewhere for help.

Jason soon returned home. Afterward, he used his abilities to "fulfill filial duties" to his parents, driving his mother into confusion, making her unable to distinguish reality from illusion, eventually drilling into her own temples with a power drill.

Thus, Jason completed the transition from filial piety to mourning.

This only made Stryker hate his son even more. To emphasize a facade of familial piety, Stryker began conducting human experiments on Jason. Through unknown means, he turned Jason into a perfect tool, completely under his control.

However, after Fang Mo fed him golden apples and enchanted golden apples, Jason seemed to regain his sanity. He began begging Fang Mo for mercy, claiming he was innocent and blaming Stryker for everything.

Do you think Fang Mo would let him go? Of course not. Fang Mo even thought about reviving Jason's mother just to kill her again.

"By the way, do you know why I fed you the apples?" On the metal bridge inside the Cerebro amplifier, Fang Mo looked at Jason, who was bound by Twilight Thorns, and smiled. "Golden apples are sacred relics in mythology. After eating them, your cells become deified, making you very resilient... Have you heard of Norse mythology? Your physique is now similar to the gods of Asgard."

"What... what are you going to do?" Jason's voice trembled.

His body kept regenerating only to be pierced again by the Twilight Thorns, blood constantly flowing down the metal bridge and dripping below.

"Alright, let me show you a trick," Fang Mo smiled, then suddenly raised his hand: "Summoning Jutsu... Universal Pull!"

There was a commotion outside, and soon Jason saw a blood-dripping 'ball' flying in and landing in Fang Mo's hand.

"This..." Jason looked closely and instantly felt horrified.

It wasn't a black ball; it was the head of his father, Stryker, seemingly torn off at the neck, his eyes still slightly moving.

"Wow, that was quick, sir," Unlike Jason's terror, Fang Mo was cheerful, holding up Stryker's head and smiling. "I see you're dressed to die, right?"

Of course, Stryker couldn't respond.

"Where are you from?" Fang Mo continued to ask cheerfully, "You wouldn't be from the higher-ups in the US, would you?"

Stryker's consciousness began to fade, and darkness enveloped him.

"Looks like I guessed right," Fang Mo said, rubbing Stryker's head like a fly on excrement, "You're lucky to die here. Now the US military is in chaos, run by someone named Stryker... a true warlord!"

As he said this, Fang Mo suddenly reached behind him, pulling out a small green dagger.

With one hand holding Stryker and the other stabbing the dagger into Stryker's skull, the garnet blade, emerald handle, and regenerative healing gem-enhanced dagger exhibited powerful healing abilities. Stryker's consciousness snapped back, just in time to hear the word "warlord."

"Warlord...?"

Although there was no sound, Stryker instinctively opened his mouth as if to say something, inadvertently cooperating with Fang Mo.

"Stryker isn't he a warlord dog?"

In front of the two men, Fang Mo's face suddenly showed an indignant expression: "This bastard warlord dog's son, Jason, is even more of a bastard! A beast among beasts!"

"My partner was doing well with his tech in MC..."

"If it wasn't for that pig-dog bastard Jason creating illusions for me, how would these soldiers have lost their families? Would you have ended up in such a miserable state?"

At this moment, Fang Mo seemed like a night owl who had swallowed a few pounds of mutton and ordered a roasted chicken, furiously stabbing Stryker's head. Of course, he didn't stop talking while stabbing: "I, Fang Mo, said that in this lifetime, I will ruin him... I'll fit his entire body with taste-bud-laden skins, turning him into a living sprinkler on a sewage truck!"

Stryker was ruthlessly stabbed with the healing dagger.

A wound that was supposed to be fatal actually grew a new body below the head.

"You... this..."

Jason, witnessing this horrifying head-saving treatment and hearing Fang Mo's terrifying words, started to turn pale.

As a telepathic mutant, Jason could vaguely sense that Fang Mo was telling the truth.

"I was really wrong." Jason quickly tried to beg for mercy: "Please spare me, it really wasn't me who..."

"Hey!"

Before Jason could finish his plea for mercy.

Fang Mo suddenly raised a finger, seemingly having a brilliant idea, and said to the two men: "I'll make you a bowl of noodles to try!"

Saying this, Fang Mo released his grip and threw Stryker to the ground like trash.

Immediately, he summoned Steve and started working on the spot.

Very soon, Fang Mo made a bowl of ramen from Pam's Harvestcraft farm... of course, he originally intended to make ramen from the Sakura module, as it tasted better. However, he didn't know how to make that, needing a cutting knife and other tools. Just looking at the synthesis table was not enough; it was too troublesome.

"Here, sir, eat while it's hot."

Fang Mo squatted down with a smile, placing the bowl of noodles in front of Stryker.

After placing the bowl, Fang Mo continued to speak.

"Let me tell you, this bowl of noodles is not ordinary. Just the noodles themselves are significant... Look, the surface of these noodles seems plain, but I have inscribed them with nano-scale Buddhist scriptures. Over the years, you've killed many mutants, and your merit has been deducted, right? Eating this bowl of noodles will quickly boost your merit."

Fang Mo patted his chest and vowed: "I've said before, I am Jesus, I am Allah, and gods are all one... so now, I am also Buddha."

"This... what?"

Stryker was confused by Fang Mo's words: "Jesus? God? What are you talking about?"

"Buddha gave you food, dare you not eat it?"

Fang Mo directly pushed the bowl forward: "Back then, Sun Wukong overturned a bowl of noodles just because he didn't eat scallions, and was pressed under a mountain for five hundred years by Buddha... come on, slurp it down, one mouthful of noodles gives you three thousand great merits, ten thousand small merits!"

"..."

Stryker felt even more bewildered after hearing this. Having just come back from the brink of death, his brain was still not fully functioning.

In his confusion, he glanced down at the bowl of ramen in front of him.

What he saw left him stunned.

The bowl of noodles looked quite appetizing, full of aroma, steaming hot, with two pieces of seaweed, thick slices of char siu, soft-boiled eggs, narutomaki, bamboo shoots, kelp strips, and scallions, but that wasn't the issue.

The problem lay in the fact that the bowl of noodles was topped with a thick layer of silver metal particles.

"Iron Particle Beef Noodles, eat while it's hot."

Fang Mo smiled as he pushed the bowl towards Stryker: "What's wrong, why are you stunned? Eat quickly, or it will rust. If you don't eat it, it's like you're disrespecting me, and don't blame me if I get angry. When that happens, the extinction of humanity will be partly your fault."

"..."

Hearing this mocking tone, Stryker's expression turned grim.

But considering Fang Mo's terrifying means just now, he forced himself to lower his head and take a bite of the noodles. However, his expression was like someone mourning a dead parent, with veins bulging on his forehead.

"Alright, alright, alright."

Upon seeing Stryker eat his noodles, Fang Mo smiled again and said, "Considering your strong will to live, let's play another game. If you win, I'll leave immediately. If you lose, you all die."

"What do you want to do now?" Stryker practically spat the words through gritted teeth.

He only blamed himself for being careless and underestimating this terrifying mutant. Stryker had seen top-secret files about this being known as the Celestial, but it had been decades since the last appearance, so he thought it had disappeared.

Unexpectedly, at this critical moment, the Celestial emerged again.

"How about a bet?" Fang Mo stroked his chin, then turned to look at the battered Cerebro amplifier. "Let's bet whether this Cerebro amplifier can still be activated."

"If you want to kill me, just say so," Stryker felt somewhat defeated. "Even if you kill me, it won't matter. Someone else will take my place eventually!"

As a high-ranking military official who had studied mutants his entire life, Stryker knew that only Professor X could use the Cerebro amplifier. Anyone else who tried would go insane, as he had tested before.

To Stryker, Fang Mo was merely finding an excuse to kill him.

"I... can do it..." Suddenly, Jason, who was tied up nearby, spoke in a dry voice.

"What?" Stryker was taken aback.

"Hmm?" Fang Mo also turned to look at Jason. With immense effort, Jason managed to free his hands from the thorns, grabbed the metal helmet, and placed it on his head.

With a single thought, the broken Cerebro amplifier activated.

"How... is this possible?" Stryker was clearly shocked. He had previously tested Jason, and it had been impossible.

Could it be that Jason's mutant abilities had evolved?

What Stryker didn't know was that Jason had been given two golden apples by Fang Mo, significantly enhancing his mutant genes and elevating his abilities to a near-divine level.

If he wanted, Jason could now use the machine to induce hallucinations in all humans worldwide.

"I... I did it..." Jason sighed in relief after successfully starting the machine, looking at Fang Mo with a pleading expression. "Can you let me go now?"

"Emmmm..." Fang Mo was momentarily stunned by this turn of events.

But he quickly regained his composure, smiled, and without hesitation, stabbed Jason in the stomach with his sword, Laevatein.

"I don't like my mind being pried into," Fang Mo calmly sheathed his weapon.

"You... this..." Stryker realized he was doomed and looked at Fang Mo with a complex expression, his eyes filled with fear, anger, humiliation, hatred, and disgust. All these emotions culminated in one sentence: "You damn mutant..."

"Oh, alright." Fang Mo smiled, pressing Stryker's head into the bowl of noodles. "You trash of America."

After saying this, Fang Mo stood up slowly.

"If you won't finish your food, wasting it, fine, then none of you will live." Without further ado, Fang Mo spread his hands slowly, "From now on, let you FEEL THE PAIN."

"Super Shinra Tensei."
