Reincarnated as a Fox to Bring Revolution

Ch-60-Departure (V1 END)

When we got back to the mansion, I received a notification from my system but did not pay attention to it as I was studying the book that I had bought in the market.

Not even the amazing food that was presented during dinner was able to pull my attention away from the book. It was only when I woke up the next morning that I looked at the notification from the day prior.

{System Installation Complete}

{Existing System Analyzed}

{Similar Sub-Systems Merged}

[Activate Religion Leader System?] <YES/NO>

I did not expect to be notified about a merging of subsystems, So I sent an inquiry through the system for an explanation.

{Inquiry Received: Request sent to Administrator}

{Request Confirmed}

{Explaination: Two sub-systems Have been merged and modified.}

{Sub-systems Include: [Quest] and [Leveling]}

{Activating System will cause a reboot of the [Quest] Sub-system and an automatic Level up}

After the explanation, I did not find it to be that much of an issue, as both systems felt a little incomplete.

The leveling system was somewhat expected, as it was just there to get tech and skill points to facilitate development. However, the quest system was something that was only reactionary and did not always activate when it was supposed to.

It also did not allow for any modification or forced quest to be given by anyone, so I hope that is fixed with this modification.

Choosing yes, I am soon flooded by a series of notifications.

[Quest: Mainline 3: New holy land]

{Find and establish a new holy land for the goddess of progression, discovery, and foxes, Elinaria}

[Reward: Unlocking of the Religion tech tree]

When the flood of notifications stopped, I examined the new quest I just received. Since it was something I was already trying to do, I just placed it in the back of my mind without looking at the reward. I then pulled up my status to see all of the changes that were made.

Abnormal statuses:

The changes were not that much, but the update to my bloodline skill was a welcome, if expected, one. I did notice that my constitution's awakening also increased, which was getting me excited to see what it would do, but I held myself back as I did not know of any way to increase that outside of cultivating.

Regardless, I needed to check my skill page as I needed to reach 200 in two more skills.

Opening the page, I see that the skills have been separated into four lists instead of two, and there is a new option to exchange ten skill points for one limit break point.

With that, I see that I now have twenty points so I buy one limit break.

The reason I did not buy two points is because I wanted to level some of my other skills as well. Using the trick from last time, I enter into meditation on the bed before buying skill levels.

I then allocate three points to teaching and science, respectively. After that, I allocate two points to language and the limit break point to science.

When I finished placing the points, a flood of information entered my brain, where I sorted, extrapolated, and focused on learning as much of it as possible. This way, I learned more than I could have otherwise, allowing me to increase my skill in science up to two hundred and teaching to almost one hundred.

My language also reached the point where I was fluent in most languages from Earth and was also now able to read Latin. I was about to pull out the inheritance book again when Raina grabbed it out of my hands and told me that we were late for breakfast.

Reluctantly, I followed what Raina was telling me and got up, heading for the dining hall.

I did not intend to be late to my last meal in the mansion for a time, but life does not always work in your favor. Sometimes, it gives you a lot of good things that you want to use as soon as possible.

This reminded me of the schematics for the compound, so I pulled them out of my inventory and inspected their rolled-up forms.

[Ascendent Kitsune's Research Compound Blueprint: LVL 1]

{Focus your Qi through this scroll in front of open ground, and the blueprint will pull over all the resources from nearby to build the object/s}

I would have jumped at this if I had not gone through everything earlier, so I just revealed the shock I was feeling through my eyes and placed the schematic back in my inventory.

Entering the dining hall, I found that everyone was already there.

Sitting down at my seat, I soon had the first kitsune dish I had ever had placed in front of me again, and the meal started soon after.

The meal was still great, as usual, with nothing going wrong. If only I could take the chef with me, then my exit would be complete.

Mr. and Mrs. Xia then started asking if there was anything that they could do for me but I refused as I had already imposed myself for long enough and felt the need to make my own place. I also needed to make a place that would act as the center for Elinaria's worship, so I would need to leave regardless.

Still, it would not have been Mr. and Mrs. Xia if they had not tried to give me something in such a way that I could not refuse.

When I was leaving with Raina in tow, they stopped me, saying that they were giving me Yuki's contract as I did not have any maids for myself.

I was about to try my best regardless, but before I could say anything, Raina spoke up for me, saying that we would be glad to have her. She then asked Yuki to follow us as she was handed a piece of paper by Mrs. Xia.

A piece of paper that I could only assume was her contract, a slave contract of sorts in a more civil form.

Raina then dropped a piece of her blood on the paper and signed with it as if it were a pen. Once she was finished signing the paper, it dissolved into ash that flew into Raina's forehead and disappeared.

While I understood how common it was in cultivation worlds, I did not feel good about having a slave I could boss around all day. The only good thing about this is that she seemed to love her job and would make for a good lab assistant.

At this point, the only problem was her low cultivation, but I had some theories I wanted to test out if she was willing. This might also lead to a massive jump in strength compared to the average person.

The only people who could compare would be heavenly geniuses or myself, but that was also unfair to someone who was untalented in cultivation. Though, from what I heard, her level of talent was enough to enter a low-level Sect, but she still chose to work for this family instead.

Regardless, I delayed long enough.

Turning around, I gave Lou Xia a hug and then walked out the door.

In front of me, there was a carriage that would take me to the outskirts of the town, but no farther as there were no roads leading out that direction. I even checked my tech tree to see how hard they would be to get, and that is when I understood just how many materials I was lacking.

It was to the degree I was starting to question if I had enough to build the house when Raina waved a storage ring in my face, telling me to calm down.

Following her advice and hoping that she had estimated better than I had, I let out a sigh and boarded the carriage, which would start the next chapter in my story.

We have reached the end of the first volume, and I will begin editing the next one, with the first chapter available tomorrow.
