Reincarnated as Bella Swan’s Brother (Twilight)

The rest of the drive was neither slow nor was it fast and soon Alex and Alice arrived back at the Cullen mansion.

From the outside Alex could hear slow piano notes, most likely from Edward.

He didn't hear the rest of the Cullens but they were probably around the house.

Parking the Porsche inside the garage, Alex turned the engine off and exited the car.

Heading to Alice's door, he opened it for her and helped her get up.

Closing it back, Alex locked the car and gave the keys to Alice.

Alice just looked at him for a moment and then said with a smile.

"I don't think I want to drive it alone anymore, you will be driving me around from now on won't you?" Alice asked with that sweet voice of hers.

Alex just smiled as he held her hand.

"Anytime you want."

Heading inside the mansion, Alex and Alice came into the living room.

Inside, Alex saw the Cullens were gathered together watching television beside Edward who was playing the piano.

'They're like the picture-perfect family' Alex thought as he stared at them for a moment, feeling like he had intruded into something that he shouldn't have been part of.

Feeling a push on his back, Alex saw it was Alice who gave him a slow nod and pushed him inside.

'I guess, it's not so bad' Alex thought to himself but then the memories came rolling in.

Bella and Charlie.

The ones who truly felt like family to him now.

He hadn't done good on them, not at all. Alex had tried his hardest, however.

Had tried to be the perfect brother and son but it hadn't really worked out as it was seen today with Bella.

'I was rash' Alex thought as he imagined how the situation could have developed better.

'If I had waited until James had smelled Bella's scent maybe she would have understood that she was in danger. From her point of view, I'm just a blatant murderer right now. The Cullens don't feel the same but Bella certainly does' Alex thought as he released a soft barely perceptible sigh.

"Hey, you came back. How was the date?" Emmet said as he got up from the couch and stared at the two of them with a large grin on his face.

"It was great," Alice said as she kept holding Alex's hand.

"Yeah, it was great," Alex said as he showed a smile, hiding his thoughts behind it.

"Do you want anything to eat Alex?" Esme said as she turned to face him with that motherly air around her.

Alex quickly shook his head.

"No, I think if I eat any more then I will burst. Literally" Alex said as he gave a light chuckle.

Alex made an expression as she said.

"You should have seen him eat the entire menu in the restaurant, like every single dish he just gobbled up," Alice said, her tone still showing mild surprise at what had happened.

This caused Alex to give a chuckle as he rubbed his neck awkwardly while Emmet burst out laughing.

"Besides that, I just wanted to tell you guys something since everyone is here. It's about James, the vampire from earlier today" Alex said as his expression turned serious though it still held a bit of its awkwardness.

'It's better that I just clear some stuff about them, otherwise, I don't think Alice will ever learn about who she truly was. And I can't let that happen' Alex thought as he went ahead and walked to the couch and sat down next to Jasper and Edythe.

Alice nodded her head, followed him, and sat right next to him.

"Alright. You don't have to force yourself however Alex, we all understand that it was something you had decided to do for your sister's safety and we completely understand" Carlisle said as he turned to face Alex.

His face showed that soft smile of his. His eyes showed a calm yet concerned look for the young teen.

Alex simply nodded his head and gave Carlisle a small thanks.

"I don't know if Alice has told you but I can see the future," Alex said as he looked at them.

Jasper and Edythe didn't change their emotion but the others clearly hadn't known about the fact as they showed surprise on their faces.

They however maintained their silence and waited for Alex to continue, not interrupting him.

"I can't see changing visions of the future like Alice, I only know of one future but I know it in much more detail than Alice and can see much farther into the future, though that's up to debate as I don't know her range," Alex said and then took a deep breath.

Finally, after a moment of silence, Alex continued talking.

"James was the one who turned Alice into a Vampire." Alex finally said.

This caused a huge shock to pass through everyone's faces, it was as if a sudden shockwave had engulfed them as they looked at Alex, their eyes were wide and even the piano notes in the background stopped.

"James turned me?" Alice asked, her voice unlike before was much more vulnerable.

More than Alex had ever heard Alice be, it almost caused Alex to stop and hug Alice immediately, to somehow make her trembling stop.

But he knew now wasn't the time and it was for the best that he told her everything.

"I don't remember everything perfectly so I'll only tell you what I know with certainty. If that's fine with everyone" Alex said as he looked at them.

The Cullens stood silent, a moment later they all turned their eyes to Alice.

"Go ahead, I want to hear it, Alex," Alice said as she gave a shallow nod, she clearly wasn't exactly in a stable mental state.

This was the first thing she had learned about herself, and she couldn't stop now. She needed to know anything, just to get a little closer to knowing who she had been.

"All right, I'll tell you everything I know then," Alex said.
