Reincarnated in a novel as a maid

Chapter 49

Chapter 49

At heart, Lilith was a demon and didn't care much about the consequences of her actions. She had always had the mindset that lower-class succubi had to obey those of higher status, such as herself and other noble succubi. She was confident that the new scent did not belong to any of her sisters, and that was exactly what she needed. Anyone else was below her in status, and they would have to obey her as a princess, regardless of their noble status.

Spreading her large and beautiful black succubus wings, Lilith soared high into the sky. One thing to note about her was that she was able to completely conceal her aura, making her appear as a powerless and normal succubus. This level of control was truly remarkable.

She was determined to find her.

-----------------

Ellis felt a chill run down her spine as she hurriedly inspected her surroundings, as if to see if she was in any danger.

Was Freya nearby? She thought

She had just finished the theory classes and was now headed to the combat classes; behind her, Harley and Kris were talking, but it seemed more like an argument to Ellis.

She initially paid heed to their conversations, but as time passed and they didn’t stop arguing, she just pretended not to listen while memorizing her meditation technique. She was trying to make enough focus to meditate even when walking, but it was no joke, and she couldn’t do it right now, especially not when she was with the two.

She didn’t realize it, but she had come on quite close terms with Harley.

As she was thinking about her, the image of her soft breasts and thighs came into her mind, and as she imagined what it would be like to fondle them and hear her moan, she was in a small delusion...

‘Fuck!  Don’t view everyone with lust, you damn succubus! She berated herself in her mind,

‘When the fuck did I become so slutty?' She wondered nervously if she was getting more and more weird as she became stronger; was this a side effect of her physique? She would need to be careful in the future.

She sometimes feels bad as it seems that she has become friends with Harley because of her body. ‘Am I using her?' She frequently had this thought, and due to this, she tried to treat Harley with more respect rather than to objectify her new friend.

She looked at Harley with a complicated expression, and perhaps sensing her gaze, Harley also looked back and flashed Ellis a cute smile.

Kris fumed in anger as she, the elven princess, was being ignored...

And once again, they resumed their argument on nobility and etiquette.

Although Ellis had said that she shouldn’t involve herself with the heroines at all, it was a little impossible to ignore them all given that there were so many of them and that she was also a slave to one of the main villainess as well.

Harley Walton was a pretty decent heroine, and she didn’t have much of a role in the novel either; she was just given a small arc for her story.

Her story was pretty cliché and basic: she was a noble girl who took pride in her family, and her family had always been able to produce great fire aura masters.

She wanted to become a strong fire aura master herself, so she worked hard and finally enrolled in the academy.

She was stunned initially seeing everyone here in person; she had only heard this academy was a house for monstrous geniuses, but seeing it in person overwhelmed her at that time in the novel.

But she was a proud and bold woman who never feared challenges; honestly, at one point, Ellis in her old life even thought that Harley had a kind of dark side to her as well; she didn’t understand why she thought like that at the time, but it was somewhat of a hunch, but the author kept that a mystery. In the academy, she never went against her principles; her focus was solely on her studies and her determination to succeed in the competitive world of Aura.

Despite the many challenges she faced, the noble girl refused to be discouraged. She threw herself into her studies, pouring over ancient texts and practicing every chance she could. And as the years passed, her hard work paid off. She excelled in her classes, earning the admiration and respect of her peers and her professors.

But even as she climbed the ranks of the academy, the noble girl remained humble and kind, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. And it was this compassion and strength that ultimately won her the love and loyalty of those around her, turning her into a true hero in the eyes of all who knew her, and so on with the slice of life.

As Ellis walked into the classroom, she couldn't help but feel a sense of nervous excitement. She had always been fascinated by the art of sword fighting and had been looking forward to this class for weeks. She took a seat at the back of the room, accompanied by her two friends, and waited for the instructor to arrive.

When Nova, the strict and no-nonsense instructor, entered the room, she and her friends along with others sat up straight.

As Nova began the class, she explained the importance of proper grip and stance when wielding a sword. She demonstrated the different grips and stances, emphasizing the importance of balance and mobility.

Next, Nova moved on to basic strikes and defenses. She demonstrated the various types of attacks, including thrusts, slashes, and overhead strikes. She also showed the students how to properly defend against these attacks using parries, blocks, and counterstrikes.

Throughout the class, Nova was a strict but fair instructor, pushing her students to their limits, and demanding nothing but the best from them. Ellis sweated and strained as she practiced each move, determined to excel. Despite the challenges, she found a sense of fulfillment in the challenging physical and mental demands of the class.

Nova, the instructor, also provided helpful tips and corrections. As the class went on, Ellis found herself becoming more and more engaged, eagerly soaking up all of Nova's teachings.

As the class came to a close, she knew that there was still much to learn, but she was determined to continue improving and mastering the art of sword fighting.

‘The sword class was freaking good. I am really starting to love the class, haha." Ellis smiled as she left the room for her next class.

_________

As Ellis took her seat in the Healing Magic class next, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement wash over her. She was excited to learn various applications of aura; she could have never expected in her past life that she would be able to use aura and do magical deeds that were only a fantasy in her old life.

As the students filed into the Healing Magic class, they were greeted by their instructor, a tall, slender woman with long blonde hair and piercing green eyes. Her name was Lady Aria, and she was known to be a skilled healer, having graduated at the top of her class from the prestigious Saint Grace Academy.
