The wind from my punch blew Yui’s bangs. My fist stopped right in front of her forehead, and at the same time, I felt a sharp kunai pressed against my chest.
There’s no way she should’ve been able to react that fast, even if she’s the strongest in the Ninja Academy. But then I saw her eyes—those crimson red eyes.
The Sharingan.
Even with just one tomoe, she had that super sharp, dynamic vision. Plus, my taijutsu is just at the level of an elite Genin, so it’s no surprise she could keep up.
“I didn’t expect you to awaken the Sharingan, Yui-senpai,” I said, pulling back my fist. “I guess I’ll admit defeat.” I really didn’t want to drag this out. Besides, using basic taijutsu against the Sharingan? Pointless.
But Yui shook her head, her voice calm. “These eyes... They awakened at the last second. And I barely have any chakra left. This fight is mine to lose.”

I blinked. Did she just awaken the Sharingan in this short sparring match? That’s... unreal. I guess geniuses really do defy logic. Still, I didn’t expect her to admit defeat so easily. Maybe there’s something more to her than just being cool and aloof?
But before I could respond, Yui suddenly reached under her skirt, slipping her hands down her legs and... she pulled down her panties.

“A loss is a loss, and a win is a win,” she said firmly. “This time, I lost. Next time, I’ll win.”

My head started spinning. No way, I can’t handle this again! If someone saw us like this, how would I even live it down?
“Here.”
Before I knew it, Yui had walked up behind me, holding out her panties.

I instinctively took them, then realized what I was doing. Wait, no! I should’ve refused! Why did I grab them?!

With that realization, I jolted upright and clapped my hands together. “I-I’m so sorry, upperclassman! I’ve caused you so much trouble. If there’s anything I can do to make up for it, I’ll do it!”

“It’s fine,” Yui said calmly. “This was my choice. No need to apologize.” She paused for a moment. “But I’ll be coming here often from now on. Next time, we’ll fight again.”
I gulped. Oh no. This was not what I wanted. Not at all. But I had to keep my promise. “O-Okay, if that’s what you want... upperclassman.”
“Good,” Yui replied, her voice steady. “Now, can I have my panties back?”
“Oh! R-Right!” I fumbled with them, holding them out awkwardly. Just as I was about to hand them over, I heard a voice behind me.
“Hiroto... What’s that in your hand?”
I froze.
Yuhi Kurenai stood there, her face like ice. A dark, ominous aura surrounded her.

I was dead. So dead.
"Well, I never expected this," Kurenai said, stepping closer with a dark red lunch basket in hand. "You actually went so far as to do something so perverted. So, how do you want to die?"
Die! Die! I’m definitely going to die!
Why, why did my sister have to show up now? And why am I holding another girl's panties? What do I do now? How do I explain this? It seems like no matter what I say, it won’t make sense!
