I watched with baffled eyes, never did I ever think that I would see an immortal Ascension in person. But, I also didn't want to, immortal Ascension against a rank 3, even if I catch a random lightning bolt or something, I will die without a grave.

Blood Demon had ecstatic eyes, "Good, come, come, otherworldly soul traverses the world, in the search to find, I truly find myself, today is the day I ascend."

I silently hear his words and begin to wonder, "otherworldly soul? Half otherworldly demon? Is this Blood demon from Earth?"

While the questions piled over I ignored them, the most important thing was to see if this Blood Demon would ascend to immortality or not.

The Rank 5's looked from over the distance, they watched with awe, the secret to becoming immortal was hidden away, if they could gain any insights, it would be absolutely amazing. 

Cotton-like creations surrounded Blood Demon's body, this was the Human Qi, it was extremely vast, then golden dust and muddy black dust started to surround him. These were the Heavenly qi and Earthly Qi, after a period of time, Blood Demon managed to align them to be nearly equal.

He gritted his teeth, "those practices with the qi path gu worms really paid off, next comes the earthly calamity and heavenly tribulation."

He wasn't in any bit panicking, his bloody light spread through the area, it looked like heaven and earth were seperated by a crimson light.

He was rapidly gaining answers to each and every question he ever had, he steered it into the blood path and his attainment rose from quasi grand master to peak grand master. He could now rapidly think of new ways to use gu, he could even imitate other paths using it.

"I have finally answered that one problem regarding my killer move 'Heart blood.'" This was his greatest killer move, his masterpiece, he had finally completed it, he already had the relevant gu worms ready.

At this moment the skies rumbled and 9 scarlet lightnings shook down from the heavens.

They sounded like the souls of those mourning in the afterlife, It was a Blood path tribulation imitating soul and lightning path. 

Blood Demon looked in shock, for the first time he felt shock, "if I get hit by that, my soul will be corroded and my body will burn to a crisp, it's extremely fast as well. However, I can't use 'Heart Blood' yet, I can only use it a few times."

He rapidly thought as he waved his hands, 9 blossoming plants appeared, they were instantly struck by the tribulation and died, however, before they died, they created a faint white light that struck the tribulation cloud, the cloud in that area faded away. 

He smiled, "my second strongest killer move now, it has the profundity of the Chaotic Duel stage that will exist in the future, 'Flowering Blood.'"

Wei Ru also saw this similarity, however, he was now like a spectator, he didn't want to miss a single second by thinking.

After the Earthly Calamity passed, the Heavenly tribulation struck, 'Jumping Bead Blood.'

Beads of blood appeared within a hundred li with Blood Demon at the center, they started to rapidly spin, it was like his Blood Vortex killer move. They were like a grinder, slowly approaching Blood Demon with no way to get out of the middle. He used 'Flowering blood again hundreds of times which redirected ~10% of the attack at the cost of the entire terrain, this place would likely have blood path beast emperors or desolate blood path beasts in the future.

"Good, heart blood is finally ready," he readied himself, his smile was widening, he struck his heart directly in the middle, his red hanfu became entirely red due to blood. 

He ripped apart nearly half of his heart and most of his blood vessels, he had a bitter smile as he spit blood, "I can't heal or use gu to ignore the pain, else the killer move will be turned in-effective."

He looked around and saw the result, nearly half of the 'Jumping Bead Blood' vanished, he ripped his heart apart again, all the remaining blood vessels were also taken out, he was using qi path methods in order to stay alive, injecting himself with Vitality Qi.

All of a sudden all the 'Jumping Bead Blood' vanished, however, Blood Demon wasn't happy, he had a scowl, "I can't use this move again for another 30 years, otherwise I will die," he looked at his heart and vessels, he devoured them since they had his blood, they were effective for other things. 

"My killer move, 'heart blood,' has time path profundity, if I were to heal or ignore the pain, even if it was after 29 years and the last second, I will have to suffer this 'Jumping Bead Blood' again, this killer move basically seals the attack for 30 years but at a grave cost."

He looked at the 3 Qi that were still spiraling around him, he put his vital gu, the rank 5 gu that was the core of the technique, 'Heart Blood', putting in the gu into the qi made it have a resplendent crimson shine, how immortal aperture was created, however, an earthly calamity was again brewing in his aperture.

He now had Beads of Immortal Essence, he quickly used 'Flowering Blood' countless times and sent the redirected attacks outside his aperture.

He also used the divine sense gu and connect heaven gu he had in store and used it to sell most of his assets to buy these mortal gu since they were dying due to overuse. 

A long time later, the tribulation was fixed. Blood Demon had ascended successfully, he had a very large aperture. He also gained the immortal class gu 'Heart Blood.' He was happy yet looking at the state of his aperture, it turned into a bitter smile.

He exited his aperture and looked at the outside world, his injuries and defects became mended when he became an immortal. 

"Good, Good, Good," He had an expressionless face, yet one could see his joy when he realized he had become an immortal.
