"Hmm, where am I?" 

I looked around the room, it had a distinct feeling, different from my modern apartment. It looked a bit like those Chinese dramas I used to watch. The wood and fabric were quite simple looking but gave a feel different from Earth.

Suddenly I remember, "I had died while praying for chapter 2335 like every other Reverend Insanity fan. Does this mean I am in that verse?"

It was quite the leap in logic, yet my face was ecstatic, because here, I can become immortal.

I get up while still thinking, I feel something in my pants. A round feel.

I grab them.

It looked like duck eggs in size yet felt incredibly smooth. There were barely any imperfections on them. 

"These are the primeval stones I had as my entire life savings, I went to this caravan in order to search for a better life, yet here I am, just the same as before. Also what time and timeline is this?" I suddenly remember a lot of this body's memory. 

Asking for questions that couldn't be answered was looking for trouble.

I had a wry smile as I walked out my tent. It was early morning and we were settled down in a valley between the mountains, the breathtaking sunrise and the amazing slightly foggy atmosphere was astounding. The white reflection and the red clouds could be barely seen, like a beauty hiding. 

"Since I am reincarnated, I might as well live well. Maybe with my knowledge I could at least become a gu immortal." I thought yet shook my head later.

"How could that be possible, just becoming a gu master would be a game changer."

I start wandering around, formulating a plan. "This caravan, likely in southern border, is ruled by 2 factions, one from the young master of Zhao family, a clan that currently has 3 rank 5 gu masters, and the Lei clan, they sent a rank 4 elder, although both clans look like they have friendship, they are secretly plotting against each other."

This person's original body had been here for over a month and knew how to properly handle himself. 

"The main problem is becoming a gu master, even as a rank 2 to 3, I could stay in a random mortal village and enjoy my life, I don't have the aspirations of becoming a gu immortal, I just want to survive and savor this life." There was a determined look on myself, the ordinary face with pursed lips gave signs of determination.

"For now, I should go buy food." I looked at my stomach, after getting into the caravan, my goods were damaged during a battle with a rank 4 stone monkey, these few primeval stones are all I have left.

"I must act quick."

3 days later

"I Wei Ru have decided on my plan. I have considered most of all the situations, either way, if I didn't do anything, I would only be able to survive for the next few months, as for work, there was always a more desperate person who would work for less," as a modern person, he couldn't compete.

The steps he took were rocky and his face showed a bit of fear. His brows had furrowed a bit. 

He walked towards the young master's room. It was a purple tent, it was massive, a house of that size in New York would be in the millions. I looked at the guard, he was a mortal, yet extremely tough looking, even 3 of me couldn't beat 1 of him. His muscles were bulging yet the armour was also quite good quality.

"Fortunately, there is only 1 guard at the moment. I had chosen my time well." I walk towards him.

"Lord Fei, I have something to speak with the young master Zhao, it's something extremely important. I hope you will let me in." I looked at Fei Pi in the eyes, full of confidence, and said.

Fei Pi looked at me, I was half a foot shorter, although I had decent muscles, it wouldn't compare to Fei Pi, a guard used by a Gu Master.

"Humph, little Ru, go away, my job is exactly to stop people like you." He grunted, his voice was loud and threatening, even I felt my heart contract quickly. 

"Lord Fei, this is absolutely important, if it's not important, I will call you grandfather and serve you." I went on my knees and kowtowed, this plan had 60% chance of success so I had to do my best. I had always been able to move people with my words. 

Fei pi was a bit astounded, he was almost speechless, we had grown up in the same village, yet he was the guard, I was the peasant, but calling him grandfather was a bit shocking.

The pause in the sounds determined everything.

While Fei Pi was astounded, I heard voice from inside the tent, "Come in, I will judge the importance of his words."

It was the young master's voice. He had recently gained a rare Gu and was very happy, this was one of the reasons I made this plan. 

I got up, thanked the young master and went in.

After getting inside, I saw 4 men, they all had dominating aura, likely all Gu masters.

Before the young master could say anything, I again went on my knees, "This is something I can only say to young master, it's absolutely vital, I hope lords will agree." I threw all my primeval stones. I had gone all in. "This is my life's savings, without it I will die without food and water after a few days, but I have to let young master hear something, only him."

All the gu masters were shocked, the young master also put away his playful facade, "Good, you all may leave." 

He had also sent voice transmission to go guard the tent, if anything happens he will call them back. 

They looked at me annoyed before leaving.

Minutes later, only me and the handsome young master were left. 

"What do you have to say, if it's not important, I will kill you." He had killing intent in his voice.

I shuddered a little but continued. "Young master, I won't beat around the bush, a day ago, it felt like my memories changed and I realized, I am the young master to a clan that had internal strife, to protect me they sent me to the mortal village, however it appears that they lost."

"Hahaha," the young master laughed before becoming solemn.

"You dare to play this trick." He pointed his fingers towards me, "your next words will determine life or death."

I continued, I knew that the opportunity was there, "young master, I wouldn't dare lie to you, even with the guts of a beast emperor, I know the stages of a gu master's aura, green, red, white, yellow until rank 5 purple crystal. There are hundred, thousand, myriad, and emperor classifications of beasts. I am sure, not many mortals know of this knowledge, If you want to make sure anyway, you can soul search me, however, which mortal would throw primeval stones that have the opportunity to make them live longer."

I paused before continuing, looking at his eyes. The Young master's robe was still, his face had furrowed brows, I could see the changes in his expression.

The young master nodded, "Fine, as long as you do what I ask, you will be a gu master, if you do anything wrong, I will soul search you and decide." He looked a bit moved.

The next words gave me tears of joy. "Tomorrow, come here again, I will awaken your aperture!"

I had a joyful yet cautious look. "Yes!"
