"That demon has gotten so strong?" I was baffled.

This simply didn't follow the normal progression, "this might be the reason why blood path is so feared, why Fang Yuan managed to defeat 2 rank 7's with mortal killer moves as a rank 6.

I shook my head and calmed down, and began to remember the information on blood demon. "He was highly talented, he reached rank 4 too quickly, he has the qualities of a demonic path overlord, he had mysteriously disappeared a few years back, I wonder what he was doing back them."

The sight was quite strange, many people were scurrying around due to one person.

"Could this be my chance? It's been a while and my money through wins and losses remains at 900 PES, If I get even one of those stored materials, it would be a game changer, people won't suspect me as much since I have also been in this city for quite a while.

I readied myself to fish in this chaos, I went and bought a rank 2 quick thinking gu for 300 PES, it was consumable and would last for 1 year, it helped me produce and use thoughts faster.

I calmed down and went out of the city.

I was now in the wilderness surrounding the city, although it's repeatedly cleared out, more beasts use this chance to propagate which increases their numbers, allowing gu masters to farm resources.

The trees rustled with the wind, the mountains and boulders showed unwavering resilience, I was quite inspired by this sight, "how good would it be to be an immortal?" I smile at my thoughts.

I knew the general locations of where I hid my treasures so I went that way.

"I have to get in and out quickly, this place is quite dangerous, if people mistake me for a demonic path master, I will be screwed, even worse if blood demon finds me." I run faster, using my rank 2 wind movement gu.

I arrive at the first of five location, all together the treasures stored in 5 would be ~100,000 PES due to fluctuating prices, "for now, I will only take 2 of the 5, the tulsita flower and that cheap storage can only carry so much."

I look at the flower imprint on my hand and use the vine rank 1 gu to excavate the area before storing the goods away.

"The second one should be around those caves near where I refined the wind movement gu." I keep track of it as I go at a rapid pace.

After some time I arrive, I again dig before storing it up in the tulsita flower, "the other 3 places have materials too huge for tulsita flower, I will take them at a later date." I think rapidly.

I suddenly notice a piercing crimson light in one of the caves nearby. I try to flee rapidly yet, the light brings me closer and closer into the cave until the entrance closes and I see a familiar face.

"Master Zhao Fu? What are you doing here?" I ready my gu worms for any attack that could come about. 

Zhao Fu had changed his robes, from purple to red, with a slight tint of blue, he quickly noticed me and had a thoughtful glint in his eyes. 

"Zhao Ru? Oh, I have been trying to find you, I don't know which demonic bastard stole my goods," he activated an information path gu with a smile that showed Wei Ru stealing from the Zhao and Lei clan's caravan. 

Thoughts rapidly increase in my head as I use the wood explosion gu to damage the information gu. 

"Humph," Zhao Fu uses a gu and spits a ball of blood, it rapidly forms a shield around him and protects the information path gu.

I was shocked, "You, why do you have a rank 4 blood path gu, how are you so strong," my pupils contract as I sense his released rank 4 cultivation. 

"Ah, fate is truly mysterious, I was thinking of masquerading as a righteous path master only to loot it later when I reached rank 5 and escape, a long term plan, yet, who would have thought I would find this," he points to this cave, "the inheritance of Blood Sea Ancestor, along with information to reach rank 6, the Immortal Path." He puts his hand on his face and laughs.

I understood everything now, he had likely fled after the attack on the caravan, to find this inheritance, I thought I was the last survivor, yet another survivor turned out to be the infamous Blood Demon. He might have killed the real young master Zhao in the beginning and then became 'him', blood path indeed had numerous methods.

"What are you going to do with me? I am just a Rank 3, although I had recently reached rank 3 mid stage I don't have enough power to contend against you, my gu are mostly rank 3 and wood path isn't known for it's fighting ability, however, if you dare to try killing me, I will make you loose at least your neck." I imposed a tough stance even though I knew I didn't have enough ability. 

Blood Demon looked at me solemnly, "his courage is truly commendable," he managed to reach rank 3 so quick as well, he had likely been focusing only on cultivation, quite respectable."

"Don't worry, I have already inherited the Blood Sea inheritance, you don't have enough ability to take my neck. I know that multiple Tie and Shang clansmen with rank 5 ability are coming towards me. Yet I won't show any fear, to accomplish anything in life, you have to give up fear." 

He took out 4 rank 5 relic gu, "today I will slaughter the clans and ascend to immortality." His aura now broke through to rank 5 initial stage, it turned out he had been cultivating while talking, "nobody wants to die, you can observe from a distance", he flicked his hand towards me. 

A red shield appeared in front of me, then it floated and stuck itself to a wall. I was solemn, I looked at his back, "this truly is another world, even as an enemy of mine, you are truly inspiring."

He suddenly started to fly as well, at this moment all the rank 5's arrived from the righteous path, floating in the sky.

"Demon, today shall be your death, next year will be your death anniversary." A old but tall man with Tie badge and a snowy white beard that reached his stomach shouted. All others gathered around him, he was rank 5 peak stage.

Blood Demon had no hesitation in his eyes, he smiled and laughed, "Good, Good, Good, today I will slaughter immortals and gods, you can be an appetizer." He reached the same level in the sky as them and waved his red sleeve, a blood dragon appeared. 

Wei Ru looked in awe, truly a fight that would astound the world.
