Rise of an Alpha Male

Chapter 6: Defeating Alan

Sara has no idea that Silvio is very rich, so Karen stops paying attention to her and starts to fix her make up.

"Karen, this is your big chance to make Alan admit his feelings. Hurry up and finish making yourself look pretty. If you get any prettier, I will be jealous."

" I know I need to make the most of this chance." Karen says, applying mascara to her eyelashes. She thinks to herself, "Does she think I'd go this much trouble for Alan? No, I am trying to woo Silvio, not Alan."

Sara has no idea what Karen is thinking.

"It's still early, let's take a stroll in the mall." Sara takes Karen's arm and goes to pull her into the shopping mall.

"No. Silvio will be here soon. It would be rude not to be here when he arrives." Karen refuses to move. Meeting up with Silvio is the most important thing for her. Nothing else matters.

"Why do you care so much for the loser?" Sara pouts.

Twenty minutes later, Silvio steps out of the taxi, and his eyes lit up when he sees two beautiful women walking towards him.

Karen is very beautiful. She is tall and curvy, with long wavy hair. Her make up highlights her beautiful face and the split in her long skirt shows flashes of her thighs as she walks. She is every man's fantasy.

"You're late!" Sara slaps Silvio's shoulder. " You made us wait for you. Who do you think you are?"

" Sara, stop it!" Karen again sticks up for him. Sara masterminds this date to make Alan jealous and Karen is forced to go along with the plan to prevent Sara from being suspicious. Simply dating Silvio without Alan appearing would have been too suspicious.

Of course, Karen wouldn't let Alan sabotage her date with Silvio, so she needs to find a secluded place where Alan wouldn't find her.

Leaving them be, Sara walks away. After a few minutes, she turns around and  sees Karen is holding Silvio's arm as they walk towards a restaurant.

Karen, what the heck? She mumbles to herself. It's just an act. You don't need to touch him.

She takes out her phone and calls Alan.

"Alan. You need to come here. I will give you the location."

Half an hour later, an Audi pulls into the central plaza. A man with a clean buzz cut and a pair of dark glasses steps out of the car.

"Alan, you come!" She runs towards him.

"Sara. I have been busy for the past few days. How is your cousin?" He asks with a faint smile.

Like any man, Alan falls in love with Karen.

"Let's follow me." Sara tells the confused man.

Karen doesn't expect Sara to find the restaurant where she and Silvio are dining. She has secretly changed the location, hoping that her cousin would leave them alone.

She focused her attention completely on Silvio who is sitting across from her.

The table they are at is at a secluded place in the restaurant. The restaurant itself only has only several customers.

She edges closer to him and slowly slides her hand across the table. Although she knows she is being too forward, the situation is urgent, and she has to take the risk. Just as she is about to make contact, a loud voice comes from beside her. "Karen, what are you doing here? Who is this?" Alan demands.

She was too foxuyon Silvio that she wasn't aware of his presence.

"Alan!" Karen gapes in surprise. This is a problem. Sara, her annoying cousin has managed to track her down.

"Karen, what's going on? I want an explanation now!"

This was the exact same situation she had once wanted. With anyone else, it would have work brilliantly. She would have shed a few years and Alan would have blamed himself and then confess his love for her.

But everything has changed. She is here with Silvio who has a Divine Card and probably had over fifty million dollars. Compared to Silvio, Alan is nothing.

"Go away. This has nothing to do with you."

Silvio starts to understand the big picture.

This beautiful gold digger, Karen dumps this man to chase after a richer man.

"She doesn't want you. She wants me." Silvio coldly tells him.

" Kid, you have the nerve saying that to my face! Are you saying you are her boyfriend?" To Alan, this is a blatant provocation.

Silvio smirks and replies, "No. I am not his boyfriend. But this woman is my property." Silvio grabs her waist and pulls her to him.

Karen has mixed feeling about Silvio's declaration that she is just his property.

"How dare you?" With that, Alan raises his hand towards Silvio, ready to teach him a lesson.

"Stand aside." Silvio slowly pushes her aside.

Alan launches his punch but Silvio easily catches his hand.

"Argh!!"

Alan shouts in pain while Silvio casually grabs his wrist.

Karen and Sara are dumbfounded. They don't know Silvio is this strong.

Alan struggles against Silvio’s grip, his face contorted in pain. “Let go of me!” he growls, trying to free himself, but Silvio’s hold remains firm.

Karen watches in stunned silence, her heart racing. She’s torn between wanting to protect Silvio and the looming embarrassment of being caught in such an uncomfortable situation.

Silvio’s eyes, cold and unyielding, meet Alan’s. “I suggest you leave before you find yourself in a more regrettable situation,” he says, his voice calm but authoritative. “This woman’s choices are none of your concern.”

Alan’s face turns red with anger and humiliation, but he realizes he’s outmatched. With a final glare at Karen and a snarl at Silvio, he wrenches his arm free and steps back, still fuming but clearly reluctant to push the confrontation further. “This isn’t over,” he warns before storming out of the restaurant.

As soon as Alan is out of sight, Silvio releases his grip and leans back, his expression remaining unreadable. Karen breathes a sigh of relief and looks at Silvio with mixed emotions. “Thank you for stepping in,” she says, trying to sound appreciative while grappling with her conflicting feelings about him.

“Let’s focus on why we’re here. We can still enjoy our evening, if you’re willing.”

Karen smiles, feeling a bit more at ease despite the earlier chaos. “I’d like that. Let’s enjoy our time together.”

As they resume their dinner, the atmosphere slowly returns to a more relaxed state. Silvio’s presence exudes an aura of confidence and control, which helps Karen regain her composure. They continue their conversation, and while the night didn’t start as planned, it begins to turn into a pleasant evening after all.

Meanwhile, Sara, having witnessed the confrontation from a distance, is left to process the unexpected turn of events. She had hoped to use the situation to her advantage, but the scene with Alan and Silvio’s reaction has complicated things.
