Rise of the Zerg in the World of Gods

Chapter 45: Earth Dragon Zerg

"Alright, don't just stay here. When you have time, go check out the Plane Battlefield. Elite class students get one exploration opportunity each month. First place gets an extra chance. You didn't use last month's, so you now have four chances," Zhong Tianyue said, starting to usher him out.

He had called Xu Luo over mainly to remind him of some precautions and to talk about the seed quota. There wasn't much else.

Xu Luo stood up, said goodbye, and left.

Since he was supposed to cause trouble, and the bigger the better, he naturally needed to go back and prepare well.

He now had two Queens, able to store 20,000 Zerg eggs daily. He had already accumulated some but hadn't used them to replenish his Zerg army.

Originally, he planned to accumulate more before invading again, but now he didn't need to be so cautious.

After all, Xu Luo had already accumulated a considerable amount of faith power. Previously, he was worried about not having enough evolution points, so he controlled the number of Zerg. Now he didn't need to worry about this problem and could freely cause trouble for the aliens.

He would evolve all the Zerg into Earth Dragon Zerg, overwhelming the enemy with tier and numbers.

He didn't believe that with a large number of Silver Tier 9 elite units in hand, short of Gold tier appearing, others at this stage could have enough units to overwhelm him.

Leaving school, Xu Luo went straight home.

He bought some synthetic meat to reward himself, then lay in the game pod and entered his Divine Realm.

With Xu Luo's current income, he could afford real meat, but his Divine Realm was in a rapid development phase. He didn't want to delay his progress for the sake of appetite.

Entering the interstellar era, humans discovered that space wasn't as wonderful as they had imagined.

Indeed, there were no wars now, but more intense confrontations occurred in the World of Gods.

Moreover, in reality, various invisible constraints were everywhere, with many core technologies restricted by alien races.

Just for the stargate technology alone, humans had to pay hundreds of billions of star coins in patent fees annually.

Similar situations occurred across various industries.

Starriver, one of humanity's three economic pillars, was directly crashed by alien races.

Countless people were laid off and unemployed.

To cope with the difficult economy, the Federation had to export food, meat, and other foodstuffs.

These were the things alien races liked most.

Ordinary people basically chose to fill their stomachs with synthetic substances. Those with some means ate synthetic meat and similar foods. Only the truly wealthy could afford natural grains and meat.

Based on the current output in Xu Luo's Divine Realm, although natural food and meat were expensive, he could afford them by selling some faith power.

But he couldn't bear such a cost.

Entering his Divine Realm, Xu Luo observed its development. Although the Zerg were all dormant underground, as the master of the Divine Realm, he could easily sense the changes of Zerg in various places.

In the distance, large groups of Mayflies were diligently collecting evolution points.

"Evolution points are running low!" Xu Luo sighed.

The Earth Dragon Zerg were big eaters, consuming evolution points beyond his imagination.

Although Zerg were easy to raise, their consumption was truly enormous.

Xu Luo first hatched the Zerg eggs into Mountain Shakers and Burrowing Zerg, then added a synthesis fee to directly create Earth Dragon Zerg.

This process consumed a considerable amount of evolution points and faith power. Moreover, because it wasn't direct gene fusion but the fusion of two types of Zerg, the synthesis process couldn't be shortened.

Fortunately, during this period, Xu Luo hadn't done much, so he had accumulated a certain amount of faith power.

The final step of synthesis not only required two Silver tier Zerg but also consumed a lot in the process.

After all, it was a leap, directly crossing several levels to become Silver Tier 9. How could the cost be small?

Now in his Divine Realm, except for the remaining Acid Zerg from the beginning, everything had been synthesized into Earth Dragon Zerg by Xu Luo.

The number was also very large.

Over 25,000 Earth Dragon Zerg were now all of Xu Luo's combat power.

One Earth Dragon Zerg could provide 20 faith power per day. In terms of faith power gain, it was actually a loss, as the original faith power gain was much more.

But the combat power was on a completely different level.

One Earth Dragon Zerg could easily defeat dozens of Mantis Zerg, Beetle Zerg, and other Bronze tier units.

After all, Earth Dragon Zerg perfectly combined the characteristics of Burrowing Zerg and Mountain Shakers. They not only had strong protective abilities but also possessed immense strength and very agile movements.

Ordinary Bronze tier units couldn't even break through the Earth Dragon Zerg's shell.

With 25,000 Earth Dragon Zerg, honestly, if facing the allied army of his classmates from earlier today, Xu Luo was confident he could break their formation with just one charge.

"The Hive issue needs to be prioritized," Xu Luo sighed helplessly.

Now there were two Queens in his Divine Realm. Each time they laid eggs, they would drip a highly corrosive acid, eroding the surroundings. After each egg-laying session, the Queens had to relocate.

Although the Divine Realm was vast now, this couldn't continue indefinitely.

However, what made Xu Luo helpless was that the acid dripped by the Queens was too corrosive. Ordinary materials and metals couldn't withstand it, not even memory metal. It would be directly corroded.

Although it could recover, the speed was too slow to keep up with the corrosion rate.

This was why he hadn't established a Hive for so long.

Without suitable materials, even if he forcibly built a Hive, it would need to be rebuilt every so often.

Even though his development was good, he couldn't withstand such consumption!

This first place in the monthly exam was an opportunity.

After all, he had three chances to choose items, and one of them could be a rare item.

He hoped it would give him a pleasant surprise!

Come to think of it, this was Xu Luo's first encounter with rare items. He was also somewhat excited about what they might be.

He wasn't very interested in units or weapons and equipment. After all, with the Zerg in hand, he didn't need to develop other units, and equipment was useless to him.

But if he could find suitable materials to build a Hive, that would be perfect.

After all, the Hive was the foundation of the Zerg, providing very high bonus effects for them.

Although Sixth High wasn't as famous as First, Third, or Eighth High, it was still a school with deep resources.

Xu Luo believed that as long as he continued to improve, he could get more and more support in the future, naturally obtaining rare materials and the

like.
