Lacking both time and energy, Kurogiri makes a decision. It might be right, it might be wrong, or maybe, it was out of his hands to begin with. Perhaps it's just fate's twisted sense of humor at play once more. Or one of destiny's convoluted plots, stringing mortals along across uncharted waters and perilous lands just for the hell of it. In the end, it doesn't really matter why it happened or what the best possible decision was. What mattered was that it happened. And like all happenings, someone must pay the consequences for it. Enter Izuku 'Deku' Midoriya (and one or two more unfortunate souls. Every hero needs allies of justice after all. Wait, he... He's not a hero? And the other guy's an explosive wielding manic? What are you writin-) God knows how many times Deku has suffered at the hands of destiny, but this time might just take the cake.
