Since I’ve Entered the World of Romantic Comedy Manga, I’ll Do My Best to Make the Heroine Who Doesn’t Stick With the Hero Happy.

Chapter 77: Big Sister Heroine

There are many different types of heroines in a Rom-com-esque manga.

The traditional heroines such as Kaori Tojoin and Shiho Fujise are the ones who are more likely to win the war.

There are also heroines like Sei Shimada and Rie Hisamura, who really like the protagonist but still are destined to never be together.

And then there’s the type of heroine where they’d be in a heroine-type position but they don’t really hold any sort of special feelings for the protagonist.

She isn’t necessarily a heroine but rather a character whose role is to add more colour to the story.

That character is called Marino Tobise.

Marino Tobise was described as someone who didn’t have any special feelings towards Yuuichi in the manga.

She was a second year college student who just thought that Yuuichi was a pretty cute boy.

But she appeared quite frequently and as such was envied and disliked by the other heroines.

That was because… very random and mysterious ecchi situations happens whenever she’s around Yuuichi.

Some things include when she’d accidentally take off her clothes in front of him, or sometimes she’d fall down and have Yuuichi crash into her chest or even have her breasts felt up by him.

She was particularly envied by Fujise and was disliked by Tojoin.

However, Tobise has a naturally relaxed personality, so she was very supportive of Fujise and Tojoin, saying that she likes girls who are in love because they’re cute.

And I met that very same sexy heroine from Ojoujama before her main appearance.

“Tsukasa-kun, you look kinda distressed? Are you feeling fine?”

During the break, I was remembering the setting where Tobise-san was working, so she asked me that with a concerned tone.

“No, I’m fine. I was just spacing out a bit.”

“Really? Let me know if you have any problems, Onee-san here will help you out.”

Tobise-san said with a cute face, somehow I could see the sfx “Mufuu” appear on top of her head.

I obviously can’t say I’m worried about the setting of the manga, so I just replied back casually.

I never would have thought that she had a part time job. Was it even revealed in the manga that she had a part time job?

To be honest, not much was known about her because her existence was revealed pretty late into the manga.

An anime adaption was in the works, but there were only nine volumes out.

As a character that appears late in the manga, Her backstory wasn’t completely out yet. She was also ranked very highly on the popularity polls.

If I remember correctly she had ranked second in front of all the other characters in the series.

She was more popular than Rie, Sei-chan and surprisingly even Tojoin and Fujise.

After all, who doesn’t like the Ara-ara like characters?

Un, I like them too.

But my vote lies with Sei-chan! Sei-chan number 1!

The break had ended, so I went back to doing the part-time job.

I was used to it to begin with, so I adapted pretty quickly and started doing things like filling drinks and so on.

Tobise-san was…

“Manager, which table is this delicious looking dish supposed to go to?”

“It’s for the table number three, it’s written right on the slip. Please look at it carefully.”

“Oh it’s true, here you go. Enjoy this delicious looking dish.”

“Um, I didn’t order this?”

“Areh~?”

“Tobise-san, that’s table number four. Also, please say the name of the dish when you’re serving it.”

She seems to be struggling quite a bit with her tasks.

But perhaps it’s because of her atmosphere the manager looks at her like his precious granddaughter. His expression just yells “It can’t be helped.

“O-Onee-san that food you showed us earlier looks delicious, Can I order that as well alongside my drinks?”

“Ah really? It does look delicious after all. I haven’t tried it yet but all of the manager’s food is delicious. So it will definitely taste good.”

“I-I see, then what would you recommend?”

“I just had some neapolitan earlier, it was really good. My cheeks are melting just thinking of it.”

“W-Well, I’ll have that please.”

“Hai-hai! Manager, one Naporitan please~☆”

“Got it, but can you not say it like that, pronounce it normally please.”

The customers were also drawn in by Tobise-san’s natural and gentle nature and were ordering more and more stuff from the cafe.

I guess having beautiful women works with having many benefits.

No, it’s not only about her looks, it’s about her vibe too.

“Ever since Tobise-san arrived to work here, the shop sales have increased by quite a bit, yet she still makes a lot of mistakes so I’m pretty worried about her. I think she’s still best being in charge of the hall though.”

“Well, I suppose you’re right.”

In the first place, I doubt she can cook anything at all.

Although it wasn’t clarified in the manga, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was on the same level as Fujise.

“That’s why I was hoping that Hisamura-kun would help out in the kitchen. I was glad that you preferred the kitchen instead of servicing.”

“No-no, the pleasure’s all mine.”

Thanks to Tobise-san taking care of the front, I had more time to practice cooking and getting used to the kitchen.

And so the time passed by quietly and the clock struck 6. It was time for me and Tobise-san to go home.

“Thank you, both of you for your hard work, Especially you Hisamura-kun, you only came for an interview yet I had you stay this late.”

“No, I was rather grateful because I wanted to get started as soon as possible.”

“Thank you Manager for all your hard work.”

“Un, thank you for your hard work too, Tobise-san.”

So Tobise-san and I went back into the staff room.

“Good job for today and thank you for your hard work, Tsukasa-kun. It’s your first part time job yet you learnt it even faster than me. I’m shocked at how fast I lost my senior dignity.”

“Well, I’m used to this kind of work.”

“Eh, but isn’t this your first job?”

“Ah, uh… there was this manga about running a coffee shop, it was detailed so I kinda knew what to expect, yes.”

Heeh, I see.”

Yikes, I nearly revealed that I had a part-time job in my past life.

In the staff room, I was about to take off my clothes when I realized.

Ahh, if I’m changing my clothes here, then that means Tobise-san is…

“Hmm? What’s wrong.”

Tobise-san had already unbuttoned all the buttons on her shirt as if I didn’t exist in front of her eyes.

“Shit! I’m leaving, please excuse me!”

A glimpse of her bra was visible within my eyesight, so I rushed out and closed the door. [TLN: We were so close god damn it. Spineless!] [EDN: He has Sei-chan already, patience.]

I made a mistake… In the first place why was she changing with me there anyways…?

“We can change together if you want.”

“Please don’t come out!”

Tobise-san tried to come out without buttoning her shirt back up.

Why is she so defenseless?
