Chapter 68: In Search Of The Vessel

"A-are you also going to feed her that pill?" The blue-haired woman asked filled with unease. It couldn't be that her friend would also turn into a slave, right?

"Yes, am I not allowed?" Sakim stared at the other party coldly.

"That..." The blue-haired woman wanted to refuse but seeing the monster in front of her releasing a murderous intent, she could only swallow her thoughts.

"Since you're not saying anything, then I can assume that you also agree, right?" Sakim said threatening to make a move the moment the other party refused him.

"Ye-yes," Helpless, the blue-haired woman could only agree.

Sakim nodded his head. But then, he didn't want to resort to this kind of action since it could also awaken the monster inside of him that was currently sleeping.

But he had no other choice. If he let these bandits go so easily, they might even come again to him in the future and bring more people with them. If that happened, then the troubles that they would cause him could only be more frustrating and harder to deal with.

Little did he know that almost all the powerful forces across the entire Greedland had already sent their people in search of him. He was just fortunate that the only people who had found him yet were these bandits. And the four people who he met before.

Meanwhile...

Somewhere outside the beginner's village, Wolf Village...

"Damn it! Just how many of these pests are going to come here?!" Robert complained with all his heart. Hanging on his hand was a seemingly dead person who had his mouth filled with foam. He threw it onto the ground and harrumphed coldly, "Trash!"

Around him were about 20 other players who were lying lifelessly on the ground. It was obvious that he'd beat them all into a pulp. If it was fine, he would rather kill them all and vent his frustrations. But knowing that it would result in him into a 'red name', he chose not to.

Meanwhile, the two ladies, Stella and the one who didn't want to reveal her name yet were both sitting on a bench while drinking a glass of orange juice under a parasol. They loved to watch Robert do all the actions and clean up all the mess before them and the more to come.

Seeing the both of them, Robert found his eyebrows twitching uncontrollably again. At first, after learning about the many players searching for the vessel that was running all over the place, he volunteered himself to beat them since most of them were just Middle Rankers. He also just wanted to show off from these two beauties flaunting his strength at them.

That being said, their group of three (or five, if the two Spirits are included) went outside the beginner's village and started their hunt. They also started to search for the vessel since many people were already looking for him.

Robert was happy at first since he'd got to beat up many players to his heart's content. Time passed by slowly and he'd already beat up hundreds of players. Even the Low-Rankers living in the beginner's village, upon learning about the commotion happening outside, refused to come out of the village afraid that they would be implicated in whatever was going on today.

However, as Robert beat more and more people, he soon found out that there was no end to this. And more and more people, from different backgrounds, kept coming here and there, making him feel exhausted just by the thought of dealing with them.

Helpless, he asked for help from the two beauties. But to his frustrations, both of them refused to and were only sitting and watching him in enjoyment.

Robert on the other hand could only grit his teeth. Since they were ladies, then he let them be.

But he refused to give up. He came to the Greed Spirit and the Wind Spirit, Sylva, to ask for help in cleaning the mess. But to his another frustration, the Greed Spirit suddenly turned into a book and lied down on the lap of the unknown lady leaving only two words, "I'm tired." While on the other hand, Sylva only snorted at him treating him with disgust.

As a result, and as helpless as he was, with veins appearing on his forehead, Robert could only beat up every people searching for the vessel he stumbled upon. He also vented his frustrations to them. As for the others he thought as his companions? They either watched him under the parasol seemingly enjoying themselves or sleeping in boredom.

Robert had even wished for someone to approach them and beat them up but surprisingly, no one noticed them since the unknown lady had a way to conceal their presence well.

And this caused him another frustration. He was even thinking to just let go of this bunch of trash but thinking about the consequences if they ever happened to find the vessel before them, he could only grit his teeth and beat them up.

But now that his job was done in that area, and seeing the two beauties still watching him, he couldn't endure it anymore. He furiously pointed his forefinger at them as he said angrily, "And when the hell are the both of you going to make a move?! And also, I thought only a few selected individuals knew about the vessel? Why the hell there are so many of them now?! Not only that, they are all a bunch of annoying cockroaches! Just how many of them are going to come anyway?"

"Huh? Did I hear it right? Is the great Red Hunter of the West asking for help just because of a few Middle Rankers? This is really unprecedented..." Stella shook her head in disappointment as she clicked her tongue. While on the other hand, the unknown lady only revealed a soft chuckle covering her mouth with her slender hand.

"You..." Vein's appeared on Robert's head as he gritted his teeth furiously. Not wanting to lose, he retorted furiously, "Don't forget that you are just our property now since the dogs of your family had lost one-sidedly!"

"Oh really?!" Stella raised her eyebrows as she harrumphed coldly, "Even though they lost the bet in a one-sided battle, it is not you who defeated them but Greed Spirit. That said, I am his and not yours, do you understand?!" She shifted her gaze at the book on the lap of the unknown lady as she asked, "Right, Greed Spirit?"

"..." The Greed Spirit didn't reply immediately as he said lazily after a moment of pause, "Whatever."

"You hear that?!" Stella asked Robert with a smug face and then she added, "So you should hurry up and move to the next area. Don't worry we will follow you around and watch you in case you embarrass yourself and be beaten up by mere Middle Rankers."

Although she was just a Middle Ranker herself, Stella loved to see the furious other party as she teased him that way.

So as furious as he was, Robert could only grit his teeth and turn around. He didn't want to talk with this lady anymore as he realized that his state of mind was getting affected so much the more he talked with her. Leaving without a word, Robert left them and disappeared. He furiously searched the woods before him looking for the unfortunate victims where he would vent all his frustrations.

"Damn it! Just where the hell is the vessel?! It's already been one day and there's still no sign of him coming. Is he really going to the Wolf Village?" Robert thought while his figure was rushing across the woods. He already searched almost half part of the entire Edge Of The Forest since yesterday and he still hadn't found out any traces of the vessel. He was now even doubting if the vessel would still go to the beginner's village. There was even a thought in him that perhaps, the other players had already found him. If that was the case, then he sure was unlucky.

Hopefully, that was only his wild thoughts. After all, he didn't want his effort and time to be wasted just because of bad luck.

"Oh right..." Robert seemed to remember about something as he thought, "I still haven't got the answer why is it that there are so many pests searching for the vessel..."

Robert only knew that only a few chosen ones, that were surely capable themselves, were the ones who would possibly learn about the arrival of the Vessel of the Greed sin. But now? There were so many pests all over the place. He really couldn't get it at all.

Unless...

Robert suddenly turned serious as he thought, "Unless these people are all cannon fodders and those top forces wanted to use them to feed the vessel and completely awaken the Greed Sin... If that's the case, and the Greed Sin has really awakened, then it will go out of control since the vessel is still weak to hold such immense power..."

No matter how hard Robert thought about it, it would only spell catastrophe. Just what the hell were the top forces planning? Were they all nuts? Did they just lose their damned minds? No matter what those idiots were up to, Robert was determined to stop them. He would never let his homeland be destroyed by them just because they all had gone mad.
